Summary: A newcomer to Hinoto-Ri finds himself quite curious.
Warnings: Beware of derp, maybe? Will edit as needed, of course.
[Good evening, Pisces Ward. Today, among the crowds of people roaming the streets, is one bespectacled man, seeming to be perfectly normal save for the thick gloves he wears on his hands and the limp to his step.]

[Despite the initial shock of waking up somewhere that was not home, Jack finds that this place, new though it may be, isn't so different from his hometown. So, what better way to get acquainted with it than by exploring?]

[Feel free to ask if he wants a tour, bother him for being clueless, or just say hello -- he's new, after all, and looks to be quite approachable!]

Oh, sure! There's some benches nearby.

[Midori leads him over to a bench and has a seat, patting the seat next to her.]

[He'll just. Plop on down onto the bench next to her, and rest his hands on his lap.]

So. There's a butterfly-man that can somehow take people from other worlds and bring them here. That's what I got so far.

But... What about the worlds these people come from?

When you go back, you're supposed to go back at the same point of time that you came from. That way you don't need to worry about spending time here.

[Blank stare.]

[Give him a moment to process this.]

... How... How is that even possible? I mean, magic, yes, but... magic powerful enough to send people back through time??

Don't ask me. I'm not good with magic besides 'attack' and 'heal'.

You too, huh? And even then, all I can really do is the 'attack' part.

It's useful, though. Sometimes this place gets dangerous.

Oh! You know Agatha? [That's a yes.] She's my niece, actually!

She's a really good friend of mine! It's great to get to meet some of her family, and maybe she'll be happier with more people she knows around.

And... well, I'm glad that my niece has had someone to keep watch over her. She hasn't been a handful, has she?

Nope. She's always going 'I don't need anything' and I don't think she could cause trouble for anybody.

She does need to break that habit. [A chuckle.] I'm sorry if it's caused you undue worry.

It's okay, I think I'm getting through to her. Probably.

Well, probably is certainly much better than not at all.
