[Agatha is blaming the strange dream on a side effect of lack of sleep and suddenly being shoved through Tweedle's ridiculous door. Right now the question is where that door has taken her. And what happened to the other three people who fell through it with her. Tweedle could be lost in time and space forever and she wouldn't care, but Violetta and Krosp she was a little concerned about. Not to mention the state of things in Mechanicsburg. But there wasn't much she could do about that now. First things first though, she needed a weapon....

So people who happen to be near some of the darkened warehouses may hear strange sounds coming from one of the alleyways. Clanking metal, odd whirring noises, crashing sounds. Those that dare to venture closer will find a woman holding what appears to be some sort of gun made from various bits of scrapped machinery. Her back is to the mouth of the alley, so she hasn't noticed anyone yet. She twists a small dial on the side of the gun and fire it at the trash dumpster. The alley is bathed in a bright flash of light, and when it fades the dumpster is nowhere to be found. Agatha nods in satisfaction.]

Could use some work, but it'll do for now.

[M'gann sees the blast from the ray as she passes the alley. While there are a number of eccentric people in town, M'gann figures that anyone with a death ray should be treated as a threat. So M'gann activates her and sneaks down the alley a way before crouching behind a trash can.]

Hello, Ma'am. You with the ray, are you going to use that in anger or is it safe to come out and talk?

[Agatha turns in surprise, but holds the guns so it's pointed at the sky.]

What, this? This is just for self defense. A girl can't be too careful.

[She'll build a better one later, but this is better than nothing.]

Hey, do you live around here? Can you tell me where we are?

[Atoli can't help but notice that something... noisy is going on. Upon seeing one (1) vaporized dumpster she decides to confront the source.]

...uh, was it supposed to do that?

[She's slightly startled by the sudden voice behind her, but this person doesn't look like much of a threat, so she points the gun away from her.]

I'd have liked a little more kick, but with the time and materials I had this was the best I could manage.

[M'gann drops her illusion and steps out into the open.]

So you're new to the city huh? Well welcome to the city of Hinoto-Ri.

That's probably on another plane of existence. A lot of people here were pulled from other worlds, and now we can't escape.

[There's a timid voice coming from the front of the alley, and if she turns, she'll see what looks to be a young man with disheveled clothing and a messy mop of a haircut staring at her with wide, frightened eyes.]

It could be really dangerous to have that out in front of other people...

[Don't mind the teenager who has decided to stay and watch these shenanigans. Or do mind, whichever - she's interested because it looks like science or magic or both.

So when there's a lull in the work, she finally speaks up:] What are you doing?

[Her voice is quiet and almost emotionless - almost. She's curious okay, this is new.]

Ruri stops and watches the spectacle then just lets out a breath, hoping that mad cackling won't be following soon.

"Was that a teleporter or a disintegration weapon?"

There's a small, startled gasp before Agatha is suddenly beset by a flying demon child.

"Oh oh oh! That was a death ray! AMAZING! Can Desco buy it from you?"

[Another plane of existence? She was going to kill Tweedle when she finally caught up with him. After asking him how that device of his worked, of course.]

[He's the third person to be worried. You'd think these people had never seen a death ray before. She tries to smile reassuringly.]

Don't worry, I'm not planning on killing anyone. It just pays to have a little protection when you're in a strange place.

But that will have to wait until I can get access to a proper lab and better materials.

Well my assumption is that it's another plane of existence because there are several major differences between this city and where I come from. There are a lot of problems in the city but I'm sure that we can all get them sorted out and get home.

[She jumps in surprise and very nearly fires off a shot in the strange construct's direction, but manages to stop herself in time.]

You shouldn't sneak up on people like that. Especially when they have death rays....

[Calmer now, she offers a smile.]
