Moving Day! Backdated to the 22nd

Who: Hizumi Mizushiro, Ayumu Narumi, Hiyono Yuizaki, and Taro Watanabe. OPEN!
Where: Pisces District, around the apartments and the Narumi Detective Agency.
Summary: After working to turn it into a proper living space, the Spiral kids + a tanuki are moving into a detective agency because of lame name jokes.
Warnings: None.

It took some work, but what better way to distract yourself from certain Shadow pains than to get busy with moving? This may or may not be the reason why Hizumi abruptly called up the others and told them to get their stuff moved in if they wanted a bigger place to stay. And yes, even Hiyono was included in that list - even though he doesn't know a whole lot about her, she's Ayumu's friend from home and seems to know a few things, so why not?

Thus, various people can probably be found running between the apartments and the old Detective Agency. Even if they look busy, maybe they'll have time to stop and say hi?

"In that case, Taro already beat you to cooking."

Hopefully Ayumu doesn't mind eggs!

"Oh?" Well that worked for him. He was tired after carting around all this stuff.

"That works out perfectly. Do you want to cook tomorrow, or should I?"

"My shift goes late tomorrow-- think you can handle it instead?"

A late shift? Of course, he probably needed it. With the move, he should probably look into trying to get some extra hours this month too, if possible.

"Fine by me. You can cook the day after."

Ayumu guesses correctly. If he didn't need the money so badly, Hizumi may well have just refused to go in for a day or two for the sake of his mental health. Ah well... Hopefully certain individuals would not be making a trip to the arcade that day.

"Got it! Any idea what you're going to make? So there's no repeats."

"Katsudon, I think." He was still feeling tired enough from recent events that he didn't want to invite potential complaints, and pork was meat.

"Aww, I wanted beef..."

Congrats Ayumu, you now have a pouty Devil on your hands. Clearly Hizumi's got his priorities.

"Too bad."

Stop being so picky.

"I guess there's no choice, then... I'll have to make gyuudon for the day after!"

Ayumu doesn't look all that impressed, but he'll go along with it. "Fine."

He gives a short pause.

"You're really okay with that? Normally you'd complain at least a little."

[melodyoflogic]

A pause, before--

"I'm fine with it.

I'll just change tomorrow's menu a bit."

"You're not going to turn it into a salad just because I said that, are you?"

Hizumi is instantly suspicious.

[melodyoflogic]

"Not a salad, no." Lightly said.

"Not a salad... Then what?"

[melodyoflogic]

"It'll be a surprise."

Nope, not getting anything out of him that easily.

"You can be surprisingly cruel, you know...!"

Curious puppy is curious.

"You call that cruel?"

More like a spoiled puppy. It's not like he's going to feed him anything that tastes bad.

"How am I supposed to be able to prepare myself if I have no idea what's coming!"

It might not taste bad, but it will more than likely be far too refreshing for him. Give the kid a fighting chance at least!
