Summary: There's someone new working at the shopping ward. He looks a little weird, but his sweets seem pretty appetising...

Maybe you're a regular at this bakery. Or maybe you've never noticed it before. Either way, there is a new face selling baked goods here! A kind old man with a white streak on his hair is taping a few flyers to the window, announcing some appealing new deals and brand new desserts for sale.

Come a little closer, and you may catch his eye. You may also notice the line of stitches running down his face.

But with a smile like that and delicacies like these, who wouldn't want to come right in and buy something?

[ her glance trails away from the shelf to look at him.

[This may be the most quiet of all the clients he has seen so far.

Not that he minds, but it's unexpected.]

[ she pauses for a moment. ]

Strawberry. [ pause. ] Please.

[ she thinks for a moment about how madoka likes sweet things. she'll make a mind to stop by this bakery if madoka ever arrives with kyuubey attached. ]

Certainly.

[She's quiet, indeed, and not like any of the other customers he's had so far. One of the most normal ones yet, for sure, he thinks as he puts a fresh strawberry tart in a box.]

[ homura gives the older man a soft nod as she digs out her wallet. her government stipend is growing rather sparse, though certainly enough to last until the end of february. the financial instability warrants a sigh, but nevertheless her focus is back on him again. ]

[ as she pleasantly fishes out the coins to drop into shelly's hands. ]

[ she sees no harm in handing over her name. it's rather rude to leave without giving someone your name, she reminds herself, and stops short of her turn. ]
