[Athena has been planning this party for Apollo for a week or so. Despite the conference room being slightly spooky, Athena has managed to make the conference room look festive enough. The place doesn't seem so spooky now. Happy with how everything looks, she has food and other things you'd find at a party. Although Athena herself is most likely running around getting everything put together. Any guests she'll definitely greet and inform them about what was going to happen, though. Just wait for the cue to yell surprise.]

[OOC: So I'll have different threads put up so feel free to comment to all of them <3. This is also early because I probably won't be here to do this on the exact day.]

Mingling before the party

[Athena hasn't left yet to drag Apollo to his party, so she'll be busy greeting everyone and letting people know the plans for the night. Feel free to talk to her before she leaves to retrieve Apollo.]

Retrieving the birthday boy

[Now that Athena has gotten most of the people into the plans, it's time to get Apollo. She had told him that they were going to go for a walk. She really didn't know how to go about it, but that would work right? At least she wasn't forcing him to jog with her again.]

Apollo, you ready?

Huh? Yeah, sure.

[Apollo was a bit suspicious. Where would they even be walking to? But at least she wasn't dragging him out for a jog. That was painful.]

So... where are we going?

[Oh puh-lease. You're just out of shape.]

I thought we could just walk around. It's a nice day.

[justjustice]

...Really.

[Okay, fine, you get the benefit of the doubt today.]

Sure. I guess I could show you around town a bit. How many places have you been to since you got here, anyway?

SURPRISE!

[Athena has finally been able to get Apollo here. The outside of the destination is very dull to keep from Apollo from guessing. So speaking a little louder to let the others know. And opening the door and.... it's so dark and quiet in here until she turns the lights on.]

Surprise~

[When the lights go on, Apollo makes a gasping fish face- mouth opens, shuts, opens, shuts again. For a good minute or so, he's speechless. After that minute, he finally finds words again. He's somewhere between utterly shocked and touched that someone would actually do this for him.]

Athena, you didn't have to do this!

[Seeing his expression made all of this worth it.]

I know that. I wanted to.

Yeah, but you didn't have to! This is kind of a lot!

[Nope, he's not going to just shut up and enjoy it yet.]

Buffet

[It wouldn't be a party without food and drinks right? So there's a large spread of food that she's prepared for the party. There's also punch, pop, water, and of course orange juice available. For some of the older people, there is alcohol, but that is supervised with a bartender.

Feel free to mingle with everyone.]

[And by the buffet table we have one Bro Strider. He's got a glass of orange soda in hand and looking like the chillest dude ever to chill anywhere. He hasn't particularly dressed up for the party, though. His hair's hidden under a plain grey baseball cap and his combo of white shirt with black pants isn't too impressive either. Pointy anime shades are hiding his eyes from view, but it's safe to assume this dude is friendly. Probably.]

[Look at that. Athena is there with her own glass of orange juice. Because that was clearly the best drink here. Seeing Bro, she walked over to him.]

Hey, Bro. You enjoying the party?

[stridercentric]

[He shoots her a quick smirk and a nod of the head when she approaches.]

Of course! I ain't been at a legit birthday party for a damn long time. Five years, maybe?

[Okay, this was a new face. Apollo didn't remember this guy from his last stay in Hinoto-Ri, either, so his presence merited some investigation.]

...Pardon me for asking, but... who are you?

[Guess who is amassing a small horde of pizza rolls and mini hot dogs? This guy. Hey, if the food's already been taken care of, it might not hurt to indulge...]

[See? She's thought of this stuff... Just gonna join him.]

[It's not a party without dancing right? Go out and show your moves.... or not. Just know you probably won't get away with hiding/being a wall flower. Or just have fun with the music the DJ is playing. Have some fun!]

[Aaaand the birthday boy is being a wallflower. He hates loud music! Stick-in-the-mud. Someone drag him out to dance.]

[God, Apollo.... Get with the program. This is a party, right? So she's not going to waste time pulling him over to dance with her.]

Cake/Gifts

[Athena had a cake made by Shelly. After cake, it's time to open up the presents!]

[AND HERE IS YOUR FRIENDLY NEIGHBOURHOOD BAKER, PRESENTING A MARVELLOUS CAKE. It's pretty large. And also shaped like an attorney's badge.]

[Apollo was... not expecting presents.]

Huh... Are all these really for me?

... Yes.

[Blackquill hands Apollo a small box. When he opens it he'll find... hair gel.]

[... He is not very good at presents, okay.]

[Shoving her present to him. It's nothing amazing. In fact, she had a hard time thinking of anything besides her original plans. So he's getting some red clothing and more hair gel.]
