[Athena has been planning this party for Apollo for a week or so. Despite the conference room being slightly spooky, Athena has managed to make the conference room look festive enough. The place doesn't seem so spooky now. Happy with how everything looks, she has food and other things you'd find at a party. Although Athena herself is most likely running around getting everything put together. Any guests she'll definitely greet and inform them about what was going to happen, though. Just wait for the cue to yell surprise.]

[OOC: So I'll have different threads put up so feel free to comment to all of them <3. This is also early because I probably won't be here to do this on the exact day.]

[God, Apollo.... Get with the program. This is a party, right? So she's not going to waste time pulling him over to dance with her.]

[NO NO NO HE IS GOING TO CONTINUE TO BE A STICK IN THE MUD AND RESIST EVERY BIT OF THE WAY LIKE A PETULANT CHILD. His feet are rather firmly planted on the floor.]

Don't you know I hate loud music? And I thought you would, too, with those ears of yours...!

But I picked music that you'd like. Music is different. Music is fun.

But it's loud.

[Okay he's resisting a bit less now. Still whining though.]

Come on! It's your party. Don't you think you should dance a little bit?

[By the time she finally gets him on the dance floor, the song has already changed into a slow song. At least the songs aren't all foreign....]

It's my party, so I also have a right to not dance!

...Besides, how do we dance to this? [Referring to the slow song.]

Come on! It's not that bad!

You've never slow danced before?

[justjustice]

Uh... no, not really? I didn't really get invited to many parties as a kid. And if I did, no one bothered dancing with me.

Oh... Well it's not that hard, really.

Here, put your hands here. [Moving his hands onto her waist. After she did that, she put her arms around his neck.] And then from there, it's simply. You just... well... do this.

[And she started to guide him a little. It wasn't that hard after all.]

[BEEP BEEP MAYDAY MAYDAY APOLLO WAS TOTALLY NOT PREPARED FOR THIS TO ACTUALLY HAPPEN. He goes pretty red.]

Uh... okay.

[What else can he say? He's kind of paralyzed by a feeling he can't identify right now.]

[And look who doesn't seem to mind.]

See, it's not so hard.

Um.... "hard" isn't exactly the word I'd use to describe it.

[Not that he knows what word he would use to describe it.]

And what would you describe this as?

I... uh... I don't know. I don't know how I'd describe it at all.

Is it really that bad?

Well, I wouldn't call it bad... I guess we can start with process of elimination?

[Athena let out a deep sigh and let go. Stepping back, she crossed her arms into her chest.]

Fine. If you don't want to, then there's no point making you. I just thought it would be nice.

[She's pouting now. She also looks a little sad, but she won't let you catch that so easily.]
