Aside from the police vehicles outside, and there are fewer than there should be, it doesn't look like much is happening in the tower from the outside. However, that is little comfort to the officers waiting outside for backup. Everyone is spread too thin, so the more help they can get with this, the better.

When you arrive, they look relieved.

"We're sorry interrupting your arrival but there's just too many of them everywhere."

Men and women in high-class clothing talk in hushed tones. You can hear a few of them.

"...large group..."

"...think I saw some demons..."

"...I'm glad I got out cause my wife's not supposed to know I'm here!.."

"...I hope this gets reported in the news! I've always wanted to be on TV...."

The teams are gathered below, awaiting the man's orders. He looks at all of you first.

"Here's what's going to happen. Unfortunately, the building's protective barrier makes it impossible to just attack from the top floor. We have to climb all of them, elevator's out. That's..."

"Fifty seven floors, sir."

"Right. There's a large group of Anoli and their Persona on the way there. They're already expecting us, but they won't be expecting you. As soon as everyone's ready, we're shutting down the main power and casting spells to stop them from communicating with each other. Problem is you won't be able to hear us either until the middle floor where there's a beacon. So make sure you're all armed and ready."

Oh my, a fan. Hadn't one of Margaret's guest's friends wielded one? She had only glimpsed it for a moment, and yet...

Well, no matter. She doesn't mind company, as long as they're willing to put up with her enjoy a conversation or two.

"Have you ever stopped a bank heist before? It would appear to be a very messy affair."

The bullets sparked as they hit Eiji, but left him intact. Sheesh! He fired several bolts of fire from the Taja Spinner, targeting the robots to buy himself a little time.

...Time to scan the medals in his belt, of course!

"SCANNING CHARGE!" the belt announced, as three fiery rings appeared in the air, leading like flight beacons straight from Eiji's current position to the nearest of the smaller robots. He dove swiftly through the rings, pulling his feet forward as they transformed into glowing, meter-long talons. When he impacted the robot, it would be in the midst of a fiery explosion.

(Because for some reason whenever Kamen Riders kicked something, that something exploded.)

YEAH, TAKE YOUR MEDICINE, EVIL ROBOT.

Unfortunately, where that staircase hit the next floor, there's something standing in their way - a pair of green robots, and a...rather eccentric-looking old man that spoke in a heavy German accent. He wasn't dressed like the Anoli, though.

"BAHAHAHAHAHA! You should just stand down, officers, for my comrades and I have--" He pauses, then blinks a few times. "...what the heck are children doing in here?!"

Children are here to kick your old human ass, Doctor! ...But of course Kanaya would not say that. Instead, she took a step forward, still holding on to Sig but also clearly showing that she wasn't afraid of this man and his robots.

"We will not stand down," she said in a level tone. "If you have not been informed of our arrival, then that would mean you are affiliated with the group called the Anoli, correct?"

Her grip tightened around the lipstick in her pocket.

Instead of following along with what Kanaya was saying, Sig lifted his hand up to point at the robots.

"Green people."

"I am, but I was expecting the police, not...children!" The old man shakes his head, then sighs, weakly waving a hand toward Kanaya and Sig. "Deal with them," he says to the robots - they look at each other a bit confusedly, shrug, then start firing as Wily steps back a bit to let them cover the front.

"Robbing someone of their riches like this is far too sticky and unrefined for my liking." agreed Yukimura with a nod. "Stopping it even more so."

There's something about Elizabeth which Yukimura likes, though he can't exactly pinpoint why as they continue to climb up the stairs. Gosh this tower is tall.

Oh, that's not good.

Kanaya pulled out the tube of lipstick that her hands had already closed around on instinct, and twisted it. Immediately a grating, mechanical noise filled the air; the next second, Kanaya was holding a big, loud, and entirely functional chainsaw. Her hands were off of Sig now, since she required both to manage the thing, but she stepped in front of him nonetheless. It seemed unlikely that he had any way of defending himself, and if he did, then he was welcome to bring it out at any time.

Oh. Energy bullets. Well.

Kanaya deflected the first few with the flat side of her chainsaw, just enough to get Sig out of the way. Of course, she couldn't do that too often; the thing would break. Afterwards, she'd just have to dodge all of the bullets... but was that even possible in such a confined space? In the meantime, Kanaya sprang for one of the robots, brandishing her chainsaw with the intent to slice the thing right through. She didn't know the first thing about robots, but there had to be a control center somewhere, and unfortunately she didn't know where that was. The only option was to disable the entire thing.

Nanami was already falling back from the projectiles that had been flying at them before the robots appeared. While she was more durable than a normal human, thunderbolts and blasts of ice were things she wasn't yet certain how well she could take outside of Digimon form.

Luckily she had made it to a corner just as the robots appeared, though she had to duck as their shots chewed through the wall between her and them.

She spat something unladylike, and snapped over in Yoshino's direction. "I don't suppose your partner is of any notability now?"

The blonde woman clamped a hand down over the device strapped to her wrist. BioLotusmon would collapse several floors above and possibly below... She'd still leave it as a last resort, but like hell she was just going to sit there and die, as well.

Her eyes flashed back around the corner as she heard the shout from Eiji's belt. He certainly seemed powerful, and that could be useful. Especially right then. If anything he could buy them a few spare moments. If not dismantle them entirely.

The only question was, if he DIDN'T destroy them, what would they be buying time towards?

The thought of that "Persona" power nagged at the back of her head, but the means of taking hold of it... That was another matter.

This is why you're not the protagonist of a Persona game, Yukimura. The tower she knew was over 200 floors high. Talk about a work out.

Regardless, Elizabeth does have that effect on people. The liking thing, that is. Perhaps it's her aloofness to situations.

"I wonder if it's truly the money they're after, or if it's merely to shake up the town? The other sectors seem far more important than some tall bank."

Whoa what, why were they suddenly firing at them! Sig brought his bag up, as if it would protect him from any harm, along with a "what are they doooinnnggg" whine in monotonous voice. Nevertheless, after the first few deflected, Sig moved out of the way.

If they were going to shoot weird things at him, he was just going to reflect them back. He waved his hands as a light blue light formed, and with a chant an energy shield was formed to reflect the energy bullets back at the robots.

"Celest!"

[The Anoli gave an appreciative whistle as the wayward arrow still just barely missed hitting her in the shoulder. However, she didn't release her other shot, still holding it steady.]

I don't like killing competent people. It's not very cost-effective.

[The Anoli unfurled her wings, flapping hard enough to billow dust. The tip of the arrow she still held to her bow abruptly ignited.]

Tell you what. You answer a few questions, and I won't give them a need to bury you.

Sure, the robot crumpled from the force of the Scanning Charge. But that still left the largest robot to unload harshly directly on Eiji, ignoring the others completely. And the crumpled, smaller robot's spare scrap seemed to shimmer and fade after a few minutes...

Eiji was thrown backward by the force of the explosions (because Kamen Riders also exploded whenever things hit them -- it was in their contract), staggering against the far wall.

In a word: ouch. He was going to be feeling that tomorrow.

Still, he couldn't just leave these robots to rampage wherever they liked. And fire seemed to be working against these guys, so obviously he just needed to keep at it! He launched himself back into the air and slipped several medals into the Taja Spinner. Flame erupted in the air around him once more, taking the shape of an immense firebird with wings spread wide as he made his second dive toward the robots.

"TAKA! KUJAKU! CONDOR! GI-GI-GI-GIGA SCAN!"

WERE THEIR BODIES READY

"Are you alri-" Yoshino started to say.

Then, she realized what he was doing.

Yeah, she wasn't going to get in the middle of that. She backed up, giving Eiji room for whatever he was about to do.

Neither do I, albeit for another reason.

[These people are... well, people. Opposition or wrongdoing or whatever, that much was immutable. They were alive.

Nonetheless, her arm still gripped the bow firmly, and she could feel the tension of the string in its drawn-back position. After a moment's consideration, she speaks once more, still with a firm voice.]
