The Science Research Institute [Semi-Closed, see note]
Who: Anyone who Ideo recommended go work with the Wise Men.
Where: Gemini's Molecular Anomalies Gnosis Institute
Summary: After Ideo recommends a few people to go work with the Wise Men, they get to see the strange inner workings of their research. Good times and perhaps science is had by all.
Warnings: SCIENCE
Note: You can still go get a job by talking to Ideo or replying to the Job Posting. (OOC - you can also always talk to me and arrange it.)
The building had no markings or a fancy sign. For all intent and purposes it looked like an unmarked building in a row of similar brethren. Most civilians would pass by without knowing anything was particularly unique about it. After all, the best place for hiding was right in plain view. Two-sided windows which mean you couldn't quite see what was inside, the building itself rose about six stories high and had a single door, located on the front.
Once inside, there was a man waited behind a desk, blocking the pathway leading to what looked like a metallic door. The desk itself was without fanfare or much attention either; just a single computer, a small potted plant, a small stash of paper that looked like it was never used and a ground-line telephone that was almost laughable in the age of COMP systems. He was dressed in a suit; as with most typical Japanese businessmen. The strange black bumps on the ceiling were undoubtedly hiding cameras, making it impossible to know what they were looking at.
Once someone got in, he looked up at them, his face perfectly neutral, voice gruff and demanding an answer as soon as possible.
"Name?"

"Name?"

"That was exactly my first question here too! The answer is a mixture of magic, abandoned subway tunnels and equipment used to build continue, they pass by more and more military men line up the rooms the farther they walk in. It is hard to judge anything about them; they are dressed from head to toe in military uniform like the two guards upstairs and had pairs of sunglasses despite the low light.
By now, some of the rooms have no windows to the outside world. A man with a Cerberus passes by with a handful of notes, waving at her before continuing to walk on by.
The place almost feels like an ant colony, really.
"We're only a few more sections until we arrive at his office."

Atsuro nods to himself, supposing that whatever he had just been told was reasonable enough. If they had the equipment and means to build something like this, though... why was it that they required so much help to fend off a few demons? Nothing along the line of Skorpios had appeared prior to this month, it seemed, and the demons that appeared normally seemed simple enough to deal with.
There was some mystery remaining there, he was sure.
He follows along behind Suzuki, too caught up in his own thoughts to think of anything else intelligent to ask.

She does notice his silence after a few more minutes and decides to speak up again.
"What was your world like before coming here? If you don't mind me asking, that is."

He gestures towards the COMP. The one assigned by the city.

She trailed off as they approach the end of the corridor.
"Now that we are getting closer, I should explain to you what each of the Wise Men is responsible for. Mister Eiichiro Takeba is head of Research, Mister Takeharu Kirijo heads Development and Weaponry is under the care of Takahisa Kandori. He will be the one interviewing you today."
She stops as they arrive in front of another metallic door. She stands next to her, indicating a machine next to it "Please slide your card to get in, and I will see you later today." With another quick bow, she turns and leaves him alone.

"Ah... Thanks for the tour!"
He turns back to the card reader and frowns slightly. He had a card...? Right, the thing that people were reading their astrological signs off of. It takes a few moments of digging around in his pockets and bag before he uncovers it with a sigh of relief; slowly, he reaches forward and slides it through.
