Who: Gabe and Sam
Where: Gabriel's candy shop
Summary: Sam needs some....interesting candy. Gabe is more than happy to oblige. And troll.
Warnings: Whatever warnings usually need to apply to troll!archangels and Lovecraftian horrors.
Usually, working wasn't something Gabe liked to do or actually did, he was much more interested in having fun. However, this job did come with its perks: there were some interesting people who came in, and his 'employees' were fun to mess with and, most importantly, he could eat his own wares and not worry about running out.
That was what he was currently doing, enjoying a new sucker of his while sprawled in his char and his feet up on another, a small pile of candy was piled up next to him for entertainment as he waited around for any possible customers.

Sure, he had signed up for a little quest, just to see what sort of rewards it would bring him, but the last thing he expected was a subtle dig at his own situation and a task that was beyond idiotic.
"Candy that tricks the eye?" Really? Really?
But to disapprove would draw suspicion, so Sam merely pushed the antagonism back in the corner of his mind, scoping out whether there were any candy stores around. Did...did she know? She had to, this little quest hit way too close to home for comfort. Just the fact that somebody besides himself knew about his secret really set him on edge, and when he finally locates the candy shop, he even glances over his shoulder, just to make sure nobody is following him.
And then he has to do a doubletake when he sees Gabriel lounging behind the counter, because hey, he remembers this guy.
"OH!" Sam exclaims, blinking in surprise. "I...I didn't know you owned a candy store."

The Archangel stayed in his lounging position and gave a small wave. "It passes the time. Besides, who doesn't like candy? Something you're looking for or were you just curious?"

"Um...I need some help, actually. I'm looking for...what does this say..."sweets with a more dangerous edge to them, or that trick the eye"." And he glances back up at Gabriel. "Have anything like that?"

A few of the things listed like a candy heart, gummy snakes, and a vial of what, honest-to-God, looks like blood shows up on the counter as the angel lists them.
"Then there's always the chocolate that's filled with spicy crap that'll set people's mouths on fire and chocolate, on the nicer side, chocolate oranges that actually taste like oranges." These items also suddenly appear along with all of the others.

"Um...yeah. Erm. Where did all that come from?" He says, gesturing at it all in front of him. And there are some interesting ones (and some pretty gross ones, ewww), he notes. Ones that would make that woman's mouth burn, thanks to her little "dig" at what he was. That would teach her, she asked for it, after all.

He grinned and leaned back further in his chair-if that was possible-obviously pleased with himself. "Hey, if you've got any ideas in particular, share them with the class and I'll whip them up for you." And potentially keep the idea to sell to others in the future..
