[OPEN] Snowball Fight!!

Where: Any city districts, late afternoon
Summary: So it's snowing everywhere!! You know what that means right? (And if you don't, Yosuke will quickly teach you.) Yes, that's right. Snowball fight. He will be instigating pretty much anyone with a snowball to the back. Character reactions ensue!
Warnings: Snowball violence?

Wow, Yosuke hadn't seen this much snow in a while! It'd been a few months- from his perspective, about five, considering the weird jump in time that came from coming to this world- since the last drifts of snow had fallen on Inaba. What made the snow here especially cool, though, was the way the city made it look, especially at night.

But the best thing about snowy days, by far, was getting off of work early and being able to just run around in it. Sure, it was a pain in the ass to have to literally drag his bike through the snow, and sure he might've looked like a dumb kid romping through it, but hey, he was going to enjoy himself!

And of course that's when he got the idea- the terrible idea that came from just not caring that he looked absolutely ridiculous running around in the snow- to start some snowball fights.

He's not really paying attention to who he's hitting so whoever you are, whether he mistook you for someone else, whether he was aiming for someone else, or whether he just doesn't care, you are now getting a snowball right between the shoulder blades.

Yosuke, why were you aiming at Nanako....

Fortunately, she's a pretty small target, so the snow actually sails over her and instead smashes into the trunk of a nearby tree growing on the side of the road. The impact shakes the upper branches and a bit of the snow covering them falls down on her head. Maybe that's... partial credit for an impact?

Oh holy crap he didn't mean to hit Nanako! W-well technically he missed hitting Nanako directly but oh damnit that tree!!

"Whoa, Nanako-chan, I'm sorry! I didn't mean that!!" Yu was going to kill him.

That. Was. Cold.

She had some errands to run and that snowball was not helpful at all when it hit her. She didn't sound angry but there was a hinting of annoyance.

"Yosuke-kun, what are you doing?"

Careful, she might hit you back with a snowball too.

He can't kill over things he doesn't know... Probably.

Nanako initially looks startled after the snow's impact, but after turning and seeing who was responsible she smiles brightly instead. "It's okay! I came out to play in the snow!" She brushes off her hair and shoulders to prove she's none the worse for wear.

"Are you playing, too?" She obviously doesn't consider it weird to find a teenager tossing snowballs at random people.

Well that was something Xion had not been expecting, and thus she yelped with surprise as the snow hit her. She had to wonder if it was Roxas or Lea or Axel, so she drops down to her knees, gathering up some nearby snow and packing it into a ball of her own.

Then within a few seconds she's back up, turning around and hurling one back behind her.

The witch pauses for a moment, then turns slowly back towards Yosuke. "May I HELP you?" she asks, in a tone of voice as cold as the snowball that hit her head.

Call it a reflex from having encountered far too many rogue mages that are all to eager to hit a traveler in the back with a frost spell. Despite it not being as cold as the usual fare, and she doesn't feel slowed, Ginia hefts a mace from her hip, and turns on her heel. Even if she's running around in her civilian clothes, she's not backing down from an enemy.

Hope you've got a good explanation, Yosuke.

Yamato abruptly stopped when something cold and wet smacked into the back of his head with startling accuracy, the snow immediately sinking past the collar of his coat and down his back. For a moment Yamato was legitimately too startled to do anything except stand there for a long moment - then the indignation set in.

Did someone just...throw snow at him!?

Yamato turned around with a very unamused expression, his eyebrow twitching slightly as he zeroed in on the perpetrator. Tch...

"You better have a good reason for doing that..." he said, his tone deceptively calm.

Arturia was exhausted after a long day of work making deliveries and was walking alongside her moped when the snowball hit her. Her shoulders hunched briefly at the hit. Was she tired enough she couldn't notice that? What the heck?

Still, it was only snow. So she did what any sane teenage girl would do in such a situation:

She turned, scooping up a snowball of her own, and flung it right back at Yosuke.

...and splat.

Congratulations, Yosuke. You just pegged your leader in the face with that huge wet one. The snow slid off of Yu's face... revealing that as usual, his expression didn't change from the usual lineface.

"...Yosuke."

Oh man Yosuke, you have just declared war. He flinches when he first feels the snowball make contact with his back, but he's pretty quick to duck to the ground and scoop up a handful of snow, compacting it into a ball even as he searches for the person who hit him in the first place.

And considering there isn't anybody else around it could have possibly been... Have a snowball flying straight at your face, dude.

[WHAP.

Masamune doesn't jump, but there's a visible shudder as the snowball connects, and he stiffens instinctively.

A guy's just minding his own business and then he gets nailed. Ooooooh boy. Yosuke, you are so getting a facewash.

So. Yeah. Have a guy in his late teens with an eyepatch slowly turning to face whoever hit him. And probably looking ready to start something. Because Masamune doesn't sometimes realize how intimidating he might come off as.]

Oh good, she didn't seem mad at him. He waves a hand at her a little bashfully. "Uh, yeah! I mean, it's been a while since I saw it snow in Inaba, it was the middle of spring before I showed up here, actually." Huh, snowball fights with a little girl probably wouldn't have seemed very... nice, or safe. Hm...

"Hey Nanako-chan, do you wanna build a snowman?"

Yosuke is looking away from her, hands behind his back, attempting to look as innocent as possible.

"Huh? What do you mean? I didn't do anything."

There may or may not be another snowball in his hand behind his back...

Yosuke laughs as he's pummeled with a return snowball, before scooping up another and tossing it her way.

"Better watch out!"

Huh. Oh. Wow he didn't expect someone to get so mad at him... Hey wait, he remembers her!

Yosuke waves innocently at her, giving a bit of a nervous smile. "'Sup~?"

Whoa whoa whoa, why was she coming at him with a weapon, whoa!!

By reflex, he summons his Persona to block her, Susano-o standing in the way as Yosuke is taking several terrified steps backwards.

"Hey, hey calm down, it was just a joke!!"

"Hey! Watch where you're throwin' that thing!" the cranky old angel calls out. He's happy he's wearing warmer clothes, but dude, random snowballs are not on.

Yosuke, do you want to relive getting hurt at the Amagi Inn hotsprings? Do you?

"Don't give me that innocent face. You're the only one around that could've done it."

Permission for comedic retribution overkill?

She smiles, as sweetly as she can, although anybody with eyes can see the air of hostile intent behind it. "I'm sorry, were you trying to instigate a snow fight with little ol' me?" she asks.

The younger girl he just hit - fortunately both wrapped in a parka and currently Absorbing ice damage - just kind of stumbles and blinks in surprise at getting pegged. Not because it was terribly shocking itself, but because she didn't see it coming, and that surprises her.

Yosuke had another snowball in his hand and looked as though he was about to throw a second one... before Yamato's expression made him freeze mid-throw.

"Um..." No. No he really didn't have a good reason.

Hey, sweet, another person who was actually willing to play along! Yosuke tosses another one back at her just as hers hits him flat in the chest.

"Ow, geeze, good arm!!"

Sorry, Yu, as his best friend you get absolutely no mercy. Yosuke's not even sorry about this, as he tosses another snowball his way, laughing as he does. "C'mon partner! You just gonna take that??"

Hitting him in the nose, Yosuke sputters as he brushes it out of his face and eyes with the back of his coat sleeve. "H-hey, come on, cheap shot!" And he scoops up another snowball and tosses it your way.
