Out and About [Open]

Who: Caroline, William & And those who have requests that require them to be about in the city. Moreover, normal visiting!
Where: Wherever they need to be.
Summary: Did your Velvet Request require you to meet with either of the Velvet Resident Siblings? Did you just want to meet them in the city and learn more? This is your chance!
Warnings: MAYBE SOME SAD THINGS EVENTUALLY.

[OOC = Alright! This is more of a catch all log. Simply reply to it with who you need for your request and I will follow.

You are also allowed to tag non-request-wise with ONE of your character (so if you have a request, you cannot) meeting the characters at a time. I'm mostly doing this to keep tagging consistent, so if a thread is done with one and you'd like them to meet another of your characters, please do so!

Caroline will be in the city on the 2nd, 4th, 6th & 12th.
William will be in the city from the 1st-10th and then from the 20th to 31st.

Ruri waved slightly upon seeing the man on her way to the room and tilted her head slightly.

"I was coming to offer you a ride on the Nadesico."

He waved right back at her, a strange face appearing in his mask as he pulled out a card and handed it to her.

You could not have found the door for it yet, Dear Guest.

She looks at the card and ponders for a bit.

"Its probable. I was going to the last location but it doesn't seem to like to be easily found. Does it?"

Another card, another message.

The Velvet Room appears when you are in need.

But with that done, it was time for the all-important question, at least as far as William was concerned.

"Your hair color? Hrm, is this a guessing game? Black seems to be the most common in this region. Why?"

Because, dearest, he was going to take off his helmet with a flourish if his hand.

Black hair.

Exactly like she had guessed, and he gave an exaggerated bow as a way of thanks.

"I will admit, I find your face much nicer than the helmet."

He had heard from others that the Velvet siblings were in town, and he needed some words with Caroline. Namely... a better clue as to who he was supposed to find for "working his sword to some use"? Whatever that meant, he wasn't sure; the point was... there were a number of people around that fell under the title of "swordmaster".

"...so could you be more specific?" he finished, after explaining his problem to Caroline.

"...no."

Well that solved the problem easily enough!

...okay actually it wasn't as bad.

"I suppose I can tell you that she is part of the Guests much like you are."

"I... guess that helps."

No, not it doesn't help that much at all. He had already figured that much out, just from the terms "legendary swordsman"; he couldn't imagine one of the natives fitting that category. Just... legendary swordsman from what? And where? The future? The past? Too many questions; what, was this person just supposed to fall on his lap?

...well, that's usually how it worked in Inaba.

...dammit.

"Perhaps asking on your device of electronics might aid you," she offered. "...However, I am not sure how it works."

If anything, she did look sad that she couldn't help him more.

"Mm... I think I'll do that," he replied, offering Caroline a reassuring smile. He didn't want her to feel bad, after all; she was only doing her job as an Attendant.

"So we need some other guests to fill out our musical group, but did you actually have anyone in mind?" He's got his arms behind his head as he keeps an eye out for familiar faces from the Velvet Room, but his hopes aren't exactly high. "I don't mind grabbing random people, but if we're going to make this a good one for that girl, we should probably be careful who we pick!"

No worries there. With a swift movement of his hand he...grabs Hizumi's phone. Don't question it. Doesn't matter if you weren't holding it, it's now in William's hands.

Magic.

Without saying anything...well...because he doesn't say anything anyway, William sends a private message to three people.

Of course he's also got the Velvet Room way of doing things, so he might have made that message sound rather urgent.

And just like that, a certain white-winged angel boy comes skidding in (with deadweight...I mean Dark Pit).

"What's going on what happened?!"

Dark Pit was flailing, wings flapping hard and flinging black feathers all over. He let out a snarl, finally freeing himself from his original half once he stopped.

"Why the hell did you have to drag me with you!?"

Aziraphale had gotten the urgent message and that was concerning enough as it was, but when he'd noticed that Pit was involved, moving to the same general location he was going... Well that made everything all the more urgent, of course.

The third angel, whose wings are not flapping behind him but are still quite hidden thank you very much, follows after his young student and... another Pit? What the...?

"Pit, do you know what happened? And..." He furrows his brows at Dark Pit. "Who is this? Do you have a twin...?"

Wow. Are those two angels? An angel and a fallen angel twin? Either way, it's pretty ironic that he'd get saddled with not just one, but two such individuals (or so he thinks). Yaiba must be laughing in his grave at the antics his little Devil brother is getting himself into.

"Right. So I guess that takes care of that. Are any of you three good at singing?" Might as well get to the important part of this meeting, after all! Although he will hold his hand out to Will expectantly. He'd like his phone back, if you'd please!

"Uh...what?"

This is all a lot to take in all at once.

"That translates as 'no'," Dark Pit supplied, looking highly unimpressed, before shooting an irritable look at his twin. Well. Big damn emergency, Pit. Thanks a lot.

"...Singing...?" No, Aziraphale is going to agree with Pit on this one. "What?" Because yes, that is quite a lot to take in all at once, what in the world did he get himself into.

He supposes questions about Pit's counterpart here can wait for now... "I can sing alright, I think... but what on earth is so dire that you had to call us here? What does singing have to do with anything?"

There was a clap in William's direction while they argued so they could turn his attention to him once they were done. He held up one card, it was comically over-sized so they could all read it at the same time. How HAD he managed to pull it out without anyone noticing was a mystery that would probably be left unsolved. Regardless, they could see the words on it.

I need you all to come with me. Don't worry about your singing talents, the strongest sounds come from the heart.

With that done, he turned and while he didn't wait for them to following him...there was an odd pulling behind them that gave the feeling that they didn't have much choice anyway.

And so, they walked for some while in silence. As they did, the others might have took notice that some of the populace seemed to recognize William, pointing at him, before they looked at even more awe at the four people behind him. Someone waved and called his name. He took the time to stop and kiss her hand (helmet and all) before continuing on, making her laugh.

In the end, the small little self-made parade, past Leo Ward's City Hall and arrived in front of ...

...Caduceus Hospital Headquarters.

...oh.

He took out another card.

Follow me.

The atmosphere compared to the one outside was like night and day, even if this place was filled with white walls and marble pillars. The receptionist recognized him, and gave William a small, tired smile. He stepped closer and presented her with a small bouquet of flowers before they were on their way to the nearest elevator.

No one else stepped in after them. In fact, while the streets outside had been covered in smiles, the people behind almost seemed angry as they got in, but no one said anything. The door closed and they began to climb to the 55th floor.

He still hadn't really told them why they were here. Not that he'd speak much, regardless.

Hizumi follows along easily enough, at least pretending he's in complete control even though he really isn't. He seems to be cheerful to note they are at the center of attention, grinning back at anyone he catches looking in their direction. But when they reach the hospital, his expression becomes more somber. Suddenly, he has a pretty good guess where this is going, and is perfectly content to follow Will in perfect silence regardless of the reactions of the others.

"Will someone please tell us what's going on? If we're visiting someone, are they about to die? I mean, that stinks, but what do you need us for?"

Those in this crowd who are familiar with Pit might be surprised to hear a note of irritation in his voice.

Rude, Pit; even he knows not to be that damn disrespectful. Dark Pit elbowed his original sharply in the side, shooting him a, "How dare you?" look, before turning his attention to William.

"I think what he's trying to say is how are we supposed to make a difference in a place like this?"

Aziraphale joins Dark Pit in giving his pupil a stern look. Hospitals were serious places. Aziraphale tried to avoid them, really, but... as far as making a difference.

This was probably serious... He wasn't sure what singing had to do with it, but if he could make a difference, he would simply die for the chance to do it. Any miracles he could perform, any whatsoever...

"Excuse me," he addresses William. "Whoever we're visiting... do they need a healer?"

There goes his theory she's stuck in the Velvet Room, anyway. "Caroline! Hey! I got those books you wanted!" he calls out.

"Hello!" She waved at him, before her grin grew.

"Is that so? May I see them?"

He had pondered, briefly, giving her the Twilight trilogy as a joke response for this request. However, he realized the innate flaw of this problem, which is that she might either take him seriously and accept it (which would mean having inflicted those books on an innocent) or she wouldn't and he'd be stuck with them (which would mean having to deal with the books himself). Some jokes just weren't worth the payout.

So instead, he just hands her the trio of books in question. "I THINK this is what you're talking about? Kinda strange they'd end up being kids books though."

Anant was curious about the 'Velvet Siblings' that everyone was abuzz about, and after startling several residents of Hinoto-Ri about their whereabouts, finally ended up just randomly wandering the snowy streets.

Finally though, the delusional God's wanderings turned fruitful! Anant found the masked man, 'William', in the somewhat sheltered part of the shopping district, out of the whirling snow (but nothing said for the cold).

"Greetings, fellow faceless!" Anant chirped as they approached 'William'. "Are you one of the 'Velvet Siblings', of the Velvet Room?"

If the Velvet Sibling felt any cold, he didn't seem like it, wearing the normal outfit as usual. He had a small back on the side of him, and when addressed, turned around.

At the other's query, he gave her a small nod. Yes, he was indeed the Sibling you were looking for.

Anant let out a low, pleased noise, clasping their hands before them as they stopped before the man. "I do not believe we have met - or rather, I have not yet had the pleasure of exploring this 'Velvet Room' you come from. I forgot to go."

They cupped the bottom of their mask. "But I had been under the assumption that you were unable to leave...? Or, someone was unable to leave? Something like that..."

After her shopping trip with Cloche, Minako is ready to hand over the winter outfit Caroline had requested. She felt bad about Caroline handing over so much money and her not using much of it, though, so she came up with two variations. The second coat looks a lot like what the attendants wear already to her, so she hopes Caroline will appreciate that.

With a bag in tow, she flags down the attendant. "Caroline-san!"

"Miss Minako!" she replies back, waving at her before someone else talking with the Velvet Room sibling takes it at their cue to leave. "It is good to see you again outside of the Velvet Room."

"It's good to see you, too! I'm glad you're getting out and about." It's her opinion that Velvet Attendants should get outside a little bit more often than they do.

It took Nano most of the month to get together enough spare money to fill Caroline's request from November. It looks like she's missed Caroline venturing out into the city, but hopefully William can deliver the present for her. Carrying a small package in her hands, Nano approaches the familiar figure from the Velvet Room.

"Um... excuse me, William-san?"
