Ferrus, Kais and Garviel go to Mictlan

Garviel has decided to introduce the techpriest to the xenos-breed, mostly by bringing him along on one of the semi-nightly expeditions to Mictlan. He'll grumble at him as they go, "I know you won't like this, but there's a Xenos from our world here, and he understands how dangerous chaos and Daemons are, so he's somewhat useful. Be on your guard, however. I do not trust him."

And in short order, as they walk along, they'll reach where Kais and he normally meet, and Garviel begins to wait for him, or his drone, whichever is liable to come first.

Ferrus was confused as well, but it was well hidden under his mask. He did seem hesistant, too, though; he had similar misgivings.

(However, he also had the same self-rebuttal. He'd brought his bolt pistol along, after all. And he might be able to overload Kais' gun, if it didn't have the proper safeties...)

"Okay."

He would produce his automatics from his belt, ready as he'd ever be.

Garviel takes the lead, as always. He gestures for Ferrus to watch left, and for Kais to watch right. He'll make them trust each other through cooperation under fire, if nothing else.

Seeing the formation, Kais hits a few runes on his wrist and the drone slides over to float in the middle of the formation so it can quickly react to any threat from any side.

"Are any of these creatures difficult to fight?"

That drone was interesting. (Quietly filing it away in his mind for later investigation.) He moved for the left.

That was... a reasonable question. Do you have an opinion there, Garviel?

"Sometimes. Some of them are immune to physical assaults, and require flame or electrical or plasma discharge to terminate."

He doesn't mention you can also kill them with Persona attacks because that would be HERETICAL SORCERY.

"I have plenty of plasma here."

He hefts his gun slightly, as if to emphasize it.

"As the machine worshiper is not aware, my race has perfected plasma technology so do not be afraid."

He's fully aware that human plasma weapons have a nasty tendency to blow every so often. And he's absolutely smug about it.

HERETICAL SORCERY INDEED. He quietly shoots a glare at Kais for bragging about SUPERIOR TECHNOLOGY, but it's not seen under his mask so who gives a fuck? He just plots to maybe take your gun apart, later, Kais. If you let him.

He's at least good enough to ask, thanks.

He has his grenades and electrical energy if he needs it. He can also levitate if he needs to.
