[A: CAPRICORN WARD; NEAR THE NADESICO]
A common sight in the early morning hours in the Capricorn Ward was a small blond teenager practicing her technique in the art of the sword. Day after day she would come out at the crack of dawn, make sure the makeshift practice dummies she'd made out of stray pieces of wood were still functional, then withdraw her practice sword and begin practicing her strikes. Every morning she welcomed anyone who challenged her and when it was time for her to get to class, she would pack up her things, eat a modest breakfast.
Arturia was nothing if not dedicated to her art. Her uncle had told she held promise and it gave her an outlet that made her feel like she was doing something to achieve her dream. All her life, Arturia had dreamed of becoming a knight, something she knew would be impossible given that the sort of knights she envisioned no longer existed. That didn't mean she couldn't at least strive for it somehow, to follow the laws of chivalry and help all those she saw who were in need.
The blond teenager paused in her routine as someone approached and she gave them a friendly smile, wiping the sweat from her brow.
"Hello. Are you just passing by or would you care for a match?"
[B: LIBRA WARD; LIBRA APARTMENTS]
Petunia was missing.
Arturia had just been bringing in groceries and planning her delivery route for the day. In a moment of absent-mindedness, she had forgotten to close the door to her and her uncle's apartment. Even if the apartment wasn't so small for the two of them and the four cats Arturia looked after, they were curious creatures. Naturally they would sneak out at the slightest opportunity. The blond teenager had managed to keep Snapdragon from sneaking out, had caught Buttercup and Daisy at the other end of the hall, but Petunia?
Petunia was nowhere to be found. So Arturia was going door-to-door knocking and asking anyone who would answer if they'd seen her cat.
"She's a rather, er, hefty tortoiseshell tabby so she has orange and black markings all over her. She answers to Petunia on the days she behaves."
[C: AQUARIUS WARD; AQUILA LIBRARY]
She was not hiding. Nope. Not at all. Merely trying to get a sanity break. Ever since the start of the Grand Prix, she'd been getting a lot of calls from various clients all over Hinoto-Ri requesting she pick up and deliver fast food and groceries for them. Normally, Arturia wouldn't mind the extra work as she usually would wind up having to charge triple her normal rate to include the cost of the food and groceries.
No, what was getting to her was the sheer volume of calls and the number of customers who would yell at her when she had to explain she already had six other deliveries to make and she's only one person. She isn't superhuman and her business was run by her and her alone. This usually resulted in being screamed at by the angry customer, being told she would never be able to find work again, and being hung up on before she could apologize for the inconvenience.
Hard as she worked, there was only so much of it she could take, which was why she'd ducked into the library. It had a field around it that kept the COMPs from being active during the day unless it was from an emergency line to ensure the peace and quiet of the library. There would be a dozen angry messages waiting when she finally decided to leave this quiet sanctuary, but it was a moment of peace to catch her breath.
And so Arturia wandered the stacks, picking various books off the shelves and perusing through them before returning them and finding more. Maybe she could find out more about history here, even if she couldn't be sure it'd be one hundred percent accurate to her world's history.
[D: VARIOUS; 13TH HOUR]
Arturia had taken to going out during the Thirteenth Hour, once she'd grown accustomed to the city itself and included it into her schedule. It usually meant she'd have to take a nap as soon as her evening training with her uncle was done, but she got up promptly at 11:30 and made her way to the ward she chose to patrol that night. When the 13th Hour came proceeded to test her mettle against the monsters that showed up there.
Normally she was accompanied by a companion or two, but tonight she hadn't been able to find her companions and the moment the Thirteenth Hour struck she was attacked. There was no chance to dodge, no chance to even see it coming. Arturia had barely even opened the COMP to ask where her companions for the night were when an oversized decayed hand descended on her and snatched her into the sky. Arturia screamed in the hope it would get someone's attention, struggling to get her hands free so she could try to stab this beast.
Before she could manage that, the hand simply let her go and then she was freefalling into another part of Hinoto-Ri. Luck must have been on her side as she hadn't cracked her head on the ground, but she would definitely have a nasty bruise running up the length of her arm in the morning and her entire left side ached from the fall. Despite this, she got shakily to her feet and looked to the nearest person she could find.
"Where am I?" Because that had been one disorienting ride.
[FOR
unohana_hat: PISCES APARTMENTS]
Arturia knew she shouldn't. The conversation she'd had with the boy had given too much information people could link to her. The last thing she should do is break her anonymity by actually visiting.
And yet.... she said she would. Arturia hated keeping secrets, hated having to lie, and damn it all if she wouldn't at least try to keep her promises. She couldn't take all her cats with her--they were getting too big to stuff all four into the carrier--but she could bring one. Buttercup mewled pathetically from inside her carrier, yellow eyes giving everything around her a sad look. She was by far the most affectionate of Arturia's cats, but she also hated being cooped up the most. Arturia knew she'd be the perfect one to let Sora play with, provided he was responsible about it.
She doublechecked the message on the COMP to make sure she had the right apartment, then knocked on the door.
"Sora? It's me. I, er, brought one of my cats."

It wouldn't be prudent to go about by herself after what had just happened to her.
