[Open] Come One and All! (Forward Dated to 2/16)

Who: Open to all of Hinoto-Ri (NPCs included)
Where: Amagi Inn in Scorpio District
Summary: It's the Grand Opening of the Amagi Inn! Time to relax and take what services you can get!
Warnings: If you haven't seen P4...hot springs. Just. Hot springs.

[It took a long time to get to this point; a month actually but with a few bumps smoothed out. Who's counting?

The day of the 16th arrived without a hitch and with the strange little robot cupid thing out of the way (for now), it was time to push on through and get the opening underway. Strangely that someone didn't open the doors on a day where couples were supposed to spend time with each other. Yukiko noticed the date and suggested that Saturday night would be best because some customers could be students: obviously an opening date during the week wouldn't work so naturally, she chose one when people would want to be out. Ever since then, she tried to get the word spread about through various forms of communication...well except the COMP network. Minus that one time where those damn Pyro Jacks decided to make a nesting grounds until they got kicked out. Anyone who pretty much responded to her post on it got a free night for their trouble and she remembered it.

All of the staff made sure to wake up extra early and get everything in its proper place, every room cleaned and ready to go for tonight. To say she was nervous was an understatement: being the manager was different than her normal duty as hostess. Keeping the customers happy, making sure the food goes out properly and hoping that she wouldn't fall flat on her face would be top priority.

Finally the moment had arrived and the doors to the Amagi Inn opened, the new manager stepping out with a warm smile.]

Welcome everyone, to the Amagi Inn. I hope you take tonight to enjoy yourselves and relax. Whatever you may need, we will be happy to accommodate you.

[If you're a couple, you will notice that there is a discount for tonight. If you are someone who replied to Yukiko's earlier post about her pyro jack problem, the front desk will tell you that your bill is taken cared of for the night. Just don't go overboard.

Stepping inside the inn will remind some of the more traditional side of Japan. Unless you count finding a ping pong table tucked away for stress relief. But what the inn is mostly famous for is their natural hot spring which has been brought to Hinoto-Ri. Fair warning: if someone is peeping, there is free reign to smacking them with endless buckets. Ask the manager and her friends.

[Yu paused outside the entrance to the Inn, looking up at the building. Strange; he had only been to the Inn twice before, but seeing it in this place made it almost feel like he was back home... back in Inaba. He paused, glancing out to the street and the unfamiliar surroundings, before letting out a breath.]

[After a moment, he walked up to the entrance, leaning on his cane for support as he opened the door.]

Man, how come I gotta wear one too..

[ Chie had shown up early to help with the opening, wanting to be there to help her best friend. She was so excited to help, as it was the first thing time she was feeling useful since arriving. However, she hadn't been exactly on board with wearing a Yukata. She was nervous enough wearing one back in Inaba, but this place was much bigger, and she hardly knew anyone yet! But she couldn't turn down Yukiko, so she had gotten ready with her friend and even looked pretty and feminine.

Once the opening started, Chie ran back and forth running little errands for Yukiko, acting as her right hand. That didn't stop her from complaining quietly to herself. ]

[...this was seriously the best way to enter the inn: seeing Chie helping out like this. He paused, allowing himself a privately amused smile, before he cleared his throat to get her attention.]

[ As much as a battle hungry carnivore Chie can be, she's a bit jumpy, especially in an awkward situation like that. When she hears the sudden noise behind her she feels her body stiffen up for a second as she turns around, with her brightest and most acomadating smile she can fake on her face. ]

C-Can I help you-- Yu-kun! [ She hadn't expected him of all people, and she instantly starts to worry that her yukata isn't straight or that her hair looks stupid. ]

[Chie, you're beautiful, stop that.]

Good to see you again, Chie.

[He paused, glancing around. He guessed Yukiko would be busy, now that she was the manager, but it was a bit of wishful thinking that she'd be doing greeting duty.]

Are you just helping out for today?

Y-You too! And you look a lot better than last time I saw you! I'm sure you'll be in fighting condition in no time!

[ It's a bit of wishful thinking, but she knows that Yu is the toughest person she knows. He's courageous and smart unlike anyone else. So even though he's injured, she knows he'll be okay really soon. ]

Yeah, I told Yukiko I'd do whatever she needed from me!

I've been doing a lot better; won't be long before everything is back to normal.

[Everyday he went out to walk, he felt less and less tired afterwards. He knew he would be back to his top condition in no time.]

How have you been holding up?

That's our Leader! [ Sometimes she forgets that she's a girl and answers in a not so feminine way. ]

I'm alright, with you all here it isn't so bad. I miss my parents and my dog, but I'll be okay!

Good.

[All of them here...]

I'm worried about the others. We don't know where Philemon sent them at all, do we?

Yeah.. [ That had been bothering her, but she hadn't seen the underclassmen other than speaking with Rise a bit. Surely they would show up sooner or later? Or maybe they went home? Atleast it isn't foggy.. ]

We should definitely get the rest of us together to plan out a way to get them back though!

[Chie, please don't jinx it; there is a death goddess wandering around here...]

I was thinking that. Would you be free tomorrow night?

Of course! I'll make sure Yukiko can make it too! [ Not to mention how nice it would be to see the rest of her friends. ]

..Are you sure you're doing okay? [ She suddenly gets serious, looking at his cane. ] If you need anyone to go get you anything you can call me anytime!

[Yu looked surprised at the sudden question, following her gaze before giving her a reassuring smile.]

I'm fine. I only need the cane to make it easier to walk around. Besides, I need to get strong again; the more I do by myself, the better.

[Thankfully he missed the bigger greeting earlier: given the fact that he's still recovering, the excessive happiness might have set him back to the hospital. So far the initial rush slowed down just a little but enough to keep the staff on their toes. Strange how taking the manager position made Yukiko seem calmer instead of running around like a chicken with their head cut off.

As she made her round to the front desk, she heard the door open followed by footsteps.]

Hello there! Welcome to-

[...hold on, that's not a customer. It looked like a bowlcut with a cane. Why is he up??]

Yu-kun!

[Yu smiled, privately happy to hear how surprised she was to see him. He paused at the entrance after closing the door, leaning a bit hard on the cane.]

Hey, Yukiko. This place looks amazing.

[Or give her a heart attack. Honestly Yu, you're supposed to be taking it easy right now.]

I'm glad everything came together as well as it did.

[One of the staff members started getting the paperwork ready, assuming he was going to stay the night but Yukiko gave them a gentle look and a hand over theirs. She whispered something to them about she would handle it herself. Thankfully the other actually didn't question it. Maybe if they had seen the post interviews of the Grand Prix but the Anoli took quite a bit of focus away from that.

She walked over and took her hand in his free one.]

Would you like to sit down somewhere?

[Yu watched her, his smile warming as she stepped close. He gave her hand a squeeze in response, not really caring what her employees thought.]

I wouldn't say no.

[Well, the girl at the front just thought they were friends. She was also pretty naive at times.]

I know a place where it's less crowded.

[And no, it's not her room. ~~Wait until later for that ok?~~]

[Yu gave a nod at that.]

Lead the way, Miss Manager.

[...he was totally teasing, but it was obvious he respected her ability to hold herself and the inn together.]

[There's a blush on her face about as red as her kimono right now. She will never get used to hearing that title; sometimes she turned around and expected her mother to be standing right behind her.

She led him to a room normally used for tea ceremonies but right now it was unoccupied.]

This should be quiet enough.

[One of the doors was slid open slightly so it was easier to see the outside, away from the bustling traffic on Hinoto-Ri and enjoy the serenity of the garden of the inn.]

[Yu nodded, pausing to look around the room. They hadn't been into this room either time they went to the Amagi Inn, though considering their group... yeah. With the view of the garden completing the peaceful scene, it almost felt like it was putting Yu at ease, gently ebbing away the tiredness from the walk to the Inn.]

[He turned to her again, reaching out to hold onto her hand.]

How have you been holding up? A lot has happened at once for you.

[How kind of him to think about her but to be honest, it isn't her he should be worried about. Not with three friends and more missing, Adachi coming to the city, and just worrying what will happen next. She remembered the conversation she had with the boy involving Philemon and it got her wondering what else is behind the being with the butterfly mask.

It sounded a lot like what Izanami did, or in her case, will do.

Yukiko was brought back to reality when Yu's hand touched hers, lightly closing her fingers around it.]

Don't worry about me, it was small compared to everyone else.

[To put in bluntly: she's still terrified. And even with that reassurance in the hospital, it didn't settle the uneasiness that she would have to get stronger for their sakes.]

I should be asking you that instead.

[Yu paused for a moment, before wrapping an arm around her. He didn't want her thinking she was useless again; she was more than helpful, and... she meant a lot to him. Just like all of his friends meant everything to him, and even more...]

[When he finally spoke, his voice was soft.]

I'm fine. I'm more worried about you and the others.

She knew what he was trying to do with that gesture: it was comforting at least. But then, Yukiko said something...but it was quiet.]

I'm...scared.

[Not worried but 'scared'. If everyone was so easily defeated, then they seriously underestimated their opponent. And what good did Philemon do by dragging so many people to a place unknown? When they couldn't keep in contact with them. She knew the one thing people would say is to have faith and she does for her friends. But it doesn't make the feeling go away.]

Yukiko...

[Yu paused a moment, letting out a breath, before pulling her close to him, wrapping his arms around her and holding her tight.]

[Yeah, it had been bad; they were severely outnumbered and outgunned, relying only on what little information the mayor had decided to give them. He still wasn't happy with the man for that, and would have loved nothing more than to personally tell him off for his arrogance, but he knew it wouldn't get him anywhere. Instead, all he could do was be there for his friends, his family, and make sure that he was strong enough to handle the Anoli next time.]

[Because there was definitely going to be a next time.]

I promise you, everything will be okay.
