☆ 001; an unexpected visit

Who: some white-haired lamers Alcor ([personal profile] jumyouboshi) and Yamato Hotsuin ([personal profile] drakenguard)
Where: Libra 6-02, aka Alcor's apartment.
Summary: Alcor gets a visit from one of the last people he expected. While said person is drunk, at that.
Warnings: Alcor and Yamato interacting within a 10 feet radius. Hideousness is inevitable.

[Nobody visited Alcor.

At least, nobody visited Alcor's apartment. First of all, he didn't even need an apartment to live in, as humans did. He didn't need to sleep, eat, drink, use the bathroom, shower, and so on. He wasn't even in his apartment at least 90% of the time, preferring to observe humans in the outdoors, whether it was on top of buildings, or sitting on park benches. It was a wonder he kept it anyway.

But there was a slight bit of comfort to be found in having a "private space" to one's self, he found. Granted, it was nothing new for him to be alone, but he wasn't really alone here, was he? Especially with his other self literally hovering out and about. However, he didn't want to trouble the others with his well-being and presence, and so he opted to keep this space of his. Besides, he did use the electricity to fiddle around with human technology more, typing away at a laptop he had gotten himself (bought? taken from a store? who knows?) sometimes.

The fact remained however, that nobody visited Alcor. It was always he who came to them, to understand their ways of thinking, or to provide hints when they needed it. Not the other way around, for he was elusive and ever watching from a distance. They could attempt to contact him, but if he didn't want to be found, he would not be found. That was all right though, as he usually appeared when you needed it. Aside from the Tsuutenkaku incident.

So it was very strange that Alcor, sitting around in the apartment for once, heard sounds at his door. Some scratching, a grunt or two, and the clink of...keys? Followed by more scratching. Was someone trying to get in?  He had thought it was human custom to knock instead of using force to get into a human habitation.

Obviously, that warranted more investigation, which is why he got up from his chair and floated over toward the door, but did not open it. Yet.]

Tch. If you don't know I'm not going to spell it out for you.

[Alcor would never understand it as well, and telling him would solve nothing. He hated him, he hated him and he would hate him forever and never forgive him - and his thoughts were beginning to sound brattish even to him at this point, but it was the truth.

He sighed and curled up tighter, as if he could squeeze out the queasy feeling from doing so]

Just...leave me alone...
drakenguard: (oh shit)

[Yamato, being the brat he was, brushed the blanket off of him when he felt it settle on him, burying his face more into the pillow. Damn it. He was a wreck. It was like a burst of clarity. Wild with anger, drinking himself to the point of mistaking Alcor's apartment for his own, ranting nonsensically at Alcor, throwing up on Alcor, getting carried to bed by Alcor...

...he really was weak. Disgusting, weak, pathetic...

At some point he must've fallen asleep, as his next few moments were him on his back, feeling like death, with sunlight streaming directly into his eyes. He groaned lowly, rolling over and dragging the pillow over his head in an effort to block the light.

Jesus. Fucking. Christ.]

[Each clack of the keys sounded like knives stabbing into his skull, and he hissed in pain, pulling the pillow so hard over his head it was like he was trying to suffocate himself]

...stop...noises...

[Voice was too muffled to make out clearly...]

Nh...

[Yamato did indeed remember it. He also remembered his drunken antics, his pathetic ranting, and general stupidity. He remembered it all too well, and he wanted to be crushed by the Tsuutenkaku all over again]

...time...?

[Yamato hated Alcor a little more, just because.

He remained prone for a few minutes before trying to get up, slowly pushing the pillow off of his head, and propping himself up onto his elbow. He looked like hell, all pale and clammy with dark, near purple bags under his half-closed eyes, his hair more messy than usual.

...he promptly lied back down. Nope. Not getting up. Never]

[Yamato cracked open an eye at hearing the water and fruit being set down. Looking at the fruit made him nauseous, but he did have a foul taste in his mouth and his throat was dry. With a grunt, he forced himself back up onto his elbow, and grabbed the glass of water, taking small sips. Gulping it down, as much as he wanted to, would just make him throw up everywhere]

...[he set the glass down] I...acted shamefully last night.

Hah...

[Yamato lied back down, his chuckles holding an edge of self-disgust. If even Alcor agreed...truthfully, after realising what a pathetic, wreck of a man he had become... Yamato wasn't all that inclined to drink for a while yet]

...I apologise for...vomiting on you.

[He hated Alcor, but no one deserved being thrown up on in his opinion.]

...

[Of course Alcor wouldn't care.

Yamato let the topic drop, remaining lying on his side with his face half-buried into the pillow as he watched Alcor from beneath his eyelashes, looking close to falling asleep again]

Why didn't you relocate me to my own room?
drakenguard: (omfg you idiot)

[personal profile] drakenguard 2013-03-14 09:35 am (UTC)(link)
[Yamato's tired stare immediately flattened into an unimpressed look. Yeah, he knew that to be a crappy excuse too]

...right, because you care so much about that.

[personal profile] drakenguard 2013-03-14 04:11 pm (UTC)(link)
...

[Yamato caught that roundabout meaning, and he suddenly looked discomforted. He didn't really understand it personally... he abused and raged against Alcor, but he, both of them, still slinked back to him with offers of help and assistance, as if they didn't- it didn't make sense. Did Alcor think he could worm back into his good graces that way? Did he think Yamato was still easily manipulated?

Why did he...]

You have... no reason to ensure my safety...
drakenguard: (cool stare)

[personal profile] drakenguard 2013-03-14 04:25 pm (UTC)(link)
You need a reason!

[Yamato winced instantly after that snap though, the raised voice giving him a brief, blinding headache. He pressed a hand to his temple, his lips pressing into a thin line]

...due to our history, it is, perplexing as to why you would even care about such things, unless you had an ulterior motive...
drakenguard: (lowered gaze)

[personal profile] drakenguard 2013-03-14 06:48 pm (UTC)(link)
Who knows how your mind works...

[Yamato's voice trailed off into a bitter mutter, turning his head fully into the pillow as his hand dropped]

I'm too tired to play your mind games.
