Penguin's Nest Grand Opening

Summary: There's a new nightclub in town, and it's having its grand opening tonight
Warnings: This place is an adult entertainment venue, so potentially sex, drugs, alcohol, and things like that. Probably just regular mingling and chatting, though.

[Creepy graffiti be damned, this penguin has a club to open. It's been a busy few weeks: getting the electricity connected, hiring employees, orchestrating various demons that showed up looking for work that would suit their own appetites, and schmoozing with the locals in the area to ensure everything would go off smoothly without any native / visitor strife on the big night.

The work seems to have paid off, and the place is newly renovated and ready for business. The area around the entrance has been cleaned up, and there's a velvet rope outside to mark the building as something other than a simple warehouse. The door has an emblem of a cartoon DeDeDe giving a V-for-victory sign - his personal insignia from when he was still the king of Dreamland.

Piano music can be heard from behind the door, inviting visitors in for a night of adult pleasure. Do you enter?]

Bar

[There is a well-stocked bar in the main room of the club, fully stocked with a wide selection of beer, wine, and liquor, from the cheap stuff all the way up to top shelf. Blues and Johnny are employed here as bartenders.]

Live Entertainment

[There is entertainment in various corners of the bar in the form of dancers and strippers. DeDeDe hasn't hired any from among either the locals or the visitors yet, so currently this is being handled by some friendly succubus and incubus type demons that have agreed to help out around the club.

DeDeDe has also hired a few musicians to play in the bar part-time: Nikolai, Joshua, and Johnny. The rest of the time, the speakers simply play pre-recorded music in the background.]

General Mingling

[Of course, there are plenty of tables in the room for guests who want a slightly more intimate setting than the bar. Some of the tables are out in the center of the room, but there are also a few more private booths along the walls. A nice place to sit down, relax, and chat with the other patrons.]

DeDeDe's Office

[Of course, the boss-man also has a private office in the back. While he does spend a considerable amount of time out on the floor mingling with the guests and greeting patrons, as the evening wears on he'll head back here to take care of some of the less exciting work behind running a club. Anyone wishing to meet with DeDeDe privately can do so here.]

Outside the Club

[In case anyone just wants to hang around outside and chat, smoke, or whatever, those threads can go here. Otoha, Shura, and Kazuya are employed as bouncers, so it would be best if no one started any fights.]

[Well, this bartender probably stands out just a little. And not because he's wearing sunglasses inside, or a baseball cap.

But probably because of the fact that he doesn't look like he's much older than fifteen? He does carry himself like an adult though, and he's doing his job as best as he can!

While also not trying to pay too much attention to the live "Entertainment". Humans, and demons, are so weird.]

They better not, because Shura is right outside the door, wearing a T-shirt for once, controlling who goes in, and she will wreck anyone who raises a stink. She's taking her job very seriously.

Shura gives her new boss a thumb up. "Everything's going smoothly so far, boss! No problem customer detected so far."

[Well, there's a white-haired man sitting at the bar, sipping a beer. He's looking around at everyone, not really minding the demons. He doesn't look opposed to talking, though.]

[Age limits? What are those? There's a line, so something interesting is going on inside, right?]

[Nik wasn't too fond of this place already, but a job was a job. Playing here a few times a month was more than enough for him. He'll be playing some smooth, easy songs on guitar, per DeDeDe's request to fit with the atmosphere.

When not playing, he'll grab himself a drink and a smoke, and pick a corner by himself. Keeping away from all the demons, thanks.]

Too young to go inside a building? [She rolls her eyes.]

[He's not freakishly huge like Ralph, no.]

Hahaha! That's really funny! [She giggles, then stops quickly as her amused expression falls into a displeased look. It may or may not be truly serious.]

[He just raises an eyebrow, and reaches down to try to pick her up by the collar.]

[Yeah, he's still on that. There's a very slight joking tone to his voice, though.]

[...This is honestly one of the last places you'd expect Alcor to be. However, he was invited here...and far be it for him to decline an offer like that. Granted, it was certainly his first time in such an establishment...humans have such...interesting...pastimes.

Of course, he couldn't arrive like a normal person either, oh no. He just had to suddenly appear in a seat, like a ghost fading into sight. Materializing right before your very eyes, perhaps. This man certainly wasn't here a few seconds ago...and he looks very, very out of place here too, not even getting a drink or anything, just looking around with an amused smile on his face, observing human behavior.]

[Oh! Suddenly Kazuya pops up beside you Naoya, leaning on the bar with his elbows, a little grin on his face]

It's always weird seeing you out and about. You know. Outside. Sociably.

[Kazuya is immediately jealous of your precise teleporting abilities - which is why you will have a Demon King suddenly appearing beside you (alas, not with teleporting, but just with sly speed), leaning in to give Alcor a rather shrewd look.

Wait a minute, he knew this guy. Oh it was that weird...Arucoru? He met him months ago, but he still remembered him when he fell into that damned pool]

Alcor gives him a confused look for a second (he didn't recognize this human/demon king, yet he certainly would have, as it was difficult to forget such potential shining within him), before giving him a faint, understanding smile. Yes...he knew Saiduq. Not Alcor. Saiduq had friends (besides those who hailed from their world) here...which was a comfort to him.]
