[OPEN] Dog Wrestling
Who: Yamato and YOU
Where: Capricorn Ward - early evening
Format: Begins in prose, but I'll follow
Summary:Playing Training with Cerberus by fighting it with one's bare hands. Who's up for Demon Tangoing?
Warnings: Sharp claws and sharp teeth.
It had been a very long time since Yamato had last done this - probably not since he was in his earlier teens. Life had been too busy, his duties had taken precedence, and the Chief of JP's couldn't really risk being seen playing with his demonic familiar, after all. One had to maintain a certain image, even for the lower subordinates.
Now, however, he had no need to maintain image or even care about it. Yamato had reached rock bottom as far as his 'reputation' was concerned, and there was a bizarre sort of liberating feeling about it. He didn't have to care anymore, and after reuniting with his old time demonic familiar, Cerberus... well, if Yamato wanted to let off steam and relax by partaking in old plays, then he will!
Although, he made sure to do it in a somewhat deserted place - like the park in Hinoto-Ri. The sun was beginning to dip in the horizon, turning the sky into an indigo colour, and Yamato thought he was just out of sight from the main path. Hopefully anyway. His coat and phone was neatly set to the side, Cerberus - who nearly up to his shoulder in height - stretched and-
Well, they played. Playfighting was the best way to learn how to strengthen one's body through use of spiritual energy. The human body was weak, but it could be reinforced if one knew how to use their spiritual power in that way. Resist Physical - it was a natural ability of Yamato's by now. So there was no issue in wrestling his large, demonic familiar to the ground and initiating a round of playfighting. He trusted Cerberus not to use its claws or fangs too much.
Of course, if you're just walking through the park, as an average passerby, it would look like a man was in the middle of fighting for his life with a giant beast...

Don't snort at him when he's trying to be concerned ok!! "Besides, how are you supposed to cheat something like...that it sounds like it'd be more dangerous than just doing it the right way!"
no subject
"Such as our creation of a demon summoning app. Of course, Alcor's was superior," he could admit that much at least, "But we managed to digitise the summoning rituals, and cut down on many of the processes of tribute, summoning spells, and willpower. It worked no matter how lacklustre you were - of course, the demon may still devour you if you weren't strong enough, ahaha."
He waved a hand. "So there is no need for concern. I know what I'm doing, and I am the most powerful summoner within the Hotsuin family. There is a chance of failure, but the rate of success is higher."
no subject
"So... you can digitize communication with the Dragon Stream?" That... sort of sounded like what he was saying? Maybe? Possibly? He really had no idea and you could probably tell from the look on his face.
"Urgh... if you say so. Try not to get a city block killed, at least."
no subject
"Oh ye of little faith," Yamato chuckled, "As I said, I know what I am doing. If it backfires, I would be the only one dying from it."
no subject
Mostly because wow did you really just say "oh ye of little faith""You say that like it's a reassurance!"

Yamato was being totally serious though. What is the value of his life, what.

The sad thing was he knew Yamato was being serious, and he realized they'd probably had some sort of conversation like this before.
He let out a small sigh in preemptive defeat. "Yeah yeah, I know, only the strong survive, all's fair, and all that..." Oh well. Sure wasn't gonna change his mind!

"...in any case, if that's all, I suppose I'll be leaving," he said, plucking at his bloodied and torn shirt to frown at it. "I need to shower and get dressed into clean clothes."
no subject
"Yeah, alright. Maybe try shopping for a new shirt while you're at it, unless you got a nice seamstress." OK, he allowed himself a little chuckle at that. "Try not to get yourself killed over it, OK?"
no subject
Yamato snorted, and leaned down to pick up his coat off the floor. It was a simple, plain dark coat, and it hid the bloodied, ripped shirt well enough when he pulled it on. His hair was still messy and dirty, but, at least he didn't look like he was coming back from a murder scene.
"I'm not in any rush to die again, so I will try to take the proper precautions," Yamato shrugged, his phone slipping into his coat pocket. "Don't worry."

You wouldn't expect it with most of them having one-note Japanese Video Game wardrobes"If you end up getting killed again, I'm holding it against you in the next alternate universe," He added with a grin.
And hey, he even offered Cerberus a little wave, seeing as he was uh, kind of too afraid to actually give him a pat on the head like he would with a normal dog.
