[OPEN] Dog Wrestling
Who: Yamato and YOU
Where: Capricorn Ward - early evening
Format: Begins in prose, but I'll follow
Summary:Playing Training with Cerberus by fighting it with one's bare hands. Who's up for Demon Tangoing?
Warnings: Sharp claws and sharp teeth.
It had been a very long time since Yamato had last done this - probably not since he was in his earlier teens. Life had been too busy, his duties had taken precedence, and the Chief of JP's couldn't really risk being seen playing with his demonic familiar, after all. One had to maintain a certain image, even for the lower subordinates.
Now, however, he had no need to maintain image or even care about it. Yamato had reached rock bottom as far as his 'reputation' was concerned, and there was a bizarre sort of liberating feeling about it. He didn't have to care anymore, and after reuniting with his old time demonic familiar, Cerberus... well, if Yamato wanted to let off steam and relax by partaking in old plays, then he will!
Although, he made sure to do it in a somewhat deserted place - like the park in Hinoto-Ri. The sun was beginning to dip in the horizon, turning the sky into an indigo colour, and Yamato thought he was just out of sight from the main path. Hopefully anyway. His coat and phone was neatly set to the side, Cerberus - who nearly up to his shoulder in height - stretched and-
Well, they played. Playfighting was the best way to learn how to strengthen one's body through use of spiritual energy. The human body was weak, but it could be reinforced if one knew how to use their spiritual power in that way. Resist Physical - it was a natural ability of Yamato's by now. So there was no issue in wrestling his large, demonic familiar to the ground and initiating a round of playfighting. He trusted Cerberus not to use its claws or fangs too much.
Of course, if you're just walking through the park, as an average passerby, it would look like a man was in the middle of fighting for his life with a giant beast...

This sort of reaction was puzzling Yamato. The thought of Kaito being indignant or angry about what Alcor did didn't even cross his mind, admittedly. Mostly because he was resigned to the fact that the others seemed to think that the sun shined out of Alcor's rear end - well, perhaps not that bad, but to trust him even though he was a Septentrione, the very creatures sent to destroy the world...
He respected Kaito, but even he wondered what sort of mental deficiencies Kaito had to think that was a wise decision.
"Is there some sort of problem?"

Oh, so he was...told about......that.
"Drifted apart, my ass! I know he doesn't understand a lot of things, but Jesus..."
no subject
"...he told you."
It was more of a statement than a question, and his expression was almost like ice. Drifted apart? Well, that much was true. Ever since their disagreement on how to handle the Polaris situation, their relationship had cooled considerably. Alcor appearing to state Hiro as the new Shining One had merely been the official end of it.
...it had still hurt, a small, tiny part of him acknowledged. But Yamato didn't need Alcor - will never need Alcor again. Such sentiments were useless.

Well, technically it was, but it wasn't one that he actively kept. He was cagey and vague about it when asked, but if someone asked the right, direct question, he would see no point in hiding it. Yes, Alcor had a hand in his upbringing. That was it, though.
"However... I must agree with Alcor in that we had drifted apart before he cut ties with me. We had a disagreement over, well," he lifted his shoulders in a shrug. It was obvious what they fought about, "And when I as unwilling to cater to his whims, he obviously had no more use for me. That's all."

Sighs sadly.
"I'd like to think that he knows better now but I'm still gonna give him a piece of my mind. You don't do that, you just..."
At least getting an apology of either of them (he still didn't really know how to deal with just yet) or something would be nice.

"Huh?" Yamato was actually surprised enough to make that noise. Amazing. "Piece of - I'm a bit confused. You tend to take his side of things normally..."
no subject
"I still believe he's inherently a good person, but it doesn't excuse him from doing that. It hurt you, and even if he didn't really realize it, he should at least apologize."
Yamato seemed to have missed the part where Kaito was the one who got Saiduq to join him and not the other way around. If Saiduq screwed up, he was more than comfortable with letting him know that.

"You're really bad a hiding stuff, you know that?"

"You can't hide anything from meeeee~~" Or was he?

"I beg to differ. There are many facts about me that you cannot even begin to guess."

Well fine. He put his hand to his chin and pretended to think long and hard about this. Kaito's gotta make this count.
"...You're a dog person."
