[CLOSED] The Date (April 12th)

Who: Miyako Hotsuin ([personal profile] capitalbackup) and William ([personal profile] djvelvet).
Where: Cancer, arcade and possibly food and music store later?
Summary: After doing her research and making plans, Miyako takes William out on a date.
Warnings: Derp and awkward?

Her questions and research lead to this.

A week after her field research with her brother, Miyako went through her notes and answers. There’s quite a bit of it, but she easily cut them down to what were fitting and easy enough to do based on what she knew of William. And her own tolerances, of course.

Once she finalised her plans, it’s time to enact them on a day with good weather. The past week was a mix of either sunny or raining. Today’s Friday and the sunny spring weather was quite ideal for what she has in mind. Anything was better than rain, in any case.

In the morning, she made her way toward the Velvet Room and picked up William the DJ, after telling him she wanted to take him out. From there, she led him toward one of the arcades in the Cancer District. With the number of games inside, there might be something that appeals to him. They can spend few hours inside before going out to eat lunch, and then...possibly check the music shops?

That depends on how well their arcade experience will go.

Standing outside of the arcade, she looked at her companion for the day.

“Are you ready, William?”

Had Miyako expected him to be so quiet? William hadn't said a word (but then again, when did he) during their entire walk from the Velvet Room into the arcade. She might have noticed that once in a while, someone would give William a wave as he passed by.

When she asked his question, William gave her a nod, the helmet flashing a "YES" across the screen for a brief second. Actually, that giant helmet over his head was making it hard to judge his face and expression. But no worries! It's time on the Velvet Room Attendant's head was going to be short-lived. At least as soon as he presented to her with an exaggerated flourish, a card. On it she could read;

I have a question for you. What color is my hair?

Don't worry, he did that to everyone.
