▼ The Darkening Days
Who: Everyone. This is a general catch-all Taurus Event log. If you would like to do your own separate logs either due to pacing or easier loading, by all means, please do so!
Where: The Entire City
Summary: The last days of the Taurus event as things start to sour dramatically. During the 13th hour, Mutation Skills are unlocked for certain people (see the info post here) and now people have a chance against the swarming mechanized bulls. Unfortunately, for some, this means the paranoia hit a new low....if you want, you can get together and join each other's posts to try to hold the city down and protect everyone!
Warnings: Strange Attitudes, NPCs, Attacking, Battles.
Note: Please mark your post with what date they are happening. We are allowing anywhere from the 23th to future-dating to the 26th itself. Go on and have fun!

▼ The day of reckoning...(April 26th, before the 13th Hour)
More research was needed...but there was no time now.
Somehow, everyone that had gone to the holding facilities were being freed from their confinement areas. No one knew who or got in, or how they got out, but many guards were injured in the process-- or worse.
The city turned into an all too (unfortunately) familiar sight. The Taurus civilians were causing havoc in the city, joined by others that the city had not predicted. Observers and Researchers quickly realized that these were all the earth signs, and a signal was given out; but too little, too late.
The city needed to fight back, lest it lose even more of its members. The situation was dire, but they had the Visitors on their side.
...For better or for worse.
▼ The Hour at Hand...(April 26th, 13th Hour)
By now, the city was in chaos. For those who had witnessed the Scorpio outbreak it was an unfortunate similarity they might want to forget, but for others, this horror was brand new.
Giant mechanical bulls patrolled the city and continued to swarm, the police force trying to contain them and help as many as they could.
As time went on, mechanical parts and rocks fell to the floor from the bulls. Once the 13th hour hit...the remaining ones mutated, standing on two legs. And that wouldn't even be the worst of it...
And yet even in this Hour, there is hope. Power surges in a select few, and with a new skill at their tips, the battle may be won yet. But remember your mission: you came to protect this city. That includes the people living here. With so much chaos, you'll also need to help them and reduce the number of deaths as much as possible...and try not too look too closely at a looming figure in the Taurus Ward...

[Hinata's exaggerated trait? White knighting. Watch out ladies, this badass is going to be leaping into danger like chivalry on steroids.]

What a moron.][Are you in danger? Do you appear to need help? Hinata and his ethereal dog persona will come rushing into the fray, the former wielding a baseball bat. About to get attacked? He'll recklessly jump between you and the attacker, obviously more concerned with the health of others over himself. Just standing around? He'll ask if you're doing alright, desperate to do something to help get you out of danger.]

[Whoever Izaya just "saved" seems really enthusiastic about the idea. And everything.]
Hey, do you need me to check their weaknesses for you? I can toooootally do that! And tell you how many there are!
[Stage whisper:]

[What!?]
[This girl was unreasonably excited, considering the very deadly situation they found themselves in. Although, the praise was quite nice. He couldn't complain about that.]
[He was crouched on the ground in front of her, concentrating very hard on firing a few rounds from his handgun into her attacker, his persona pawing at the ground impatiently beside him.] Mahama! [Hah! Maybe he'd get an instant KO!]
[...but then it didn't. His persona ran up to the beast and then... stopped, looking back at him in dismay. Was it broken!? This was a bad time for his persona to start screwing up!] U-uhh... Double Fangs! [That at least seemed to work, as the ethereal wolf leapt into action, but did this mean his light moves were broken?]
[And on top of everything there was this super excitable girl chattering away in his ear when he was trying to concentrate.
She reminded him of someone.Well, he might as well use her to his advantage so they could get out of here unscathed.] What are their weaknesses!?no subject

That's kind of a rare element for Personas, though, isn't it? I never even saw it before I came here. And of course people have been having their elemental attacks sealed...

At the moment, Tachikoma is following one of the pieces that mutated into a strange creature at the start of the 13th hour.]
I wonder what kind of combat abilities these things have...

[It was about that time that Hinata rounded the corner, running down the street and coming to an abrupt halt. One girl was facing down one of those beasts!?]
Get out of the way! [His persona came running after him, prompting the blue-headed boy to bring his hand down in an arcing motion, pointing at the beast.] Double Fangs! [The dog persona charged forward, doing little more than distracting the beast so Hinata could grab one of Tachikoma's arms, pulling her away from the fray.] Are you alright? Those are dangerous!

When he grabs her, she doesn't resist at all and moves with him to get out of the fray. She keeps an eye on the battle though, entranced by watching the fight until snapped out of it by Hinata's question.]
Huh? Oh! Yes! I'm fine! I was just studying that creature! I've never seen one before. Have they appeared during the 13th hour before?

Boys that occasionally crossdress for the greater good count too.][In contrast, the usually lackadaisical and fun-loving Hinata was all about business, not cracking any of his usual grins. He had come to stop beside the young Earl, breathing heavily and changing the clip on his handgun, eyes darting this way and that to scan for danger.]
[Satisfied that his gun was appropriately loaded, he nodded in response.] It's dangerous out here, can I help you get somewhere safe?

For the greater good indeed. More like for Queen Victoria, but why go there?Ciel has a pistol of his own, but it's old-fashioned. He glances at the weapon in Hinata's hands with interest, but it's a passing thought.]
I have my Personas and my pistol. You needn't protect me. [Unless this kindness somehow leads to him befriending one of the horned people. Hopefully not.]
