▼ The Darkening Days

Who: Everyone. This is a general catch-all Taurus Event log. If you would like to do your own separate logs either due to pacing or easier loading, by all means, please do so!
Where: The Entire City
Summary: The last days of the Taurus event as things start to sour dramatically. During the 13th hour, Mutation Skills are unlocked for certain people (see the info post here) and now people have a chance against the swarming mechanized bulls. Unfortunately, for some, this means the paranoia hit a new low....if you want, you can get together and join each other's posts to try to hold the city down and protect everyone!
Warnings: Strange Attitudes, NPCs, Attacking, Battles.
Note: Please mark your post with what date they are happening. We are allowing anywhere from the 23th to future-dating to the 26th itself. Go on and have fun!

▼ The nights grow weary and a pattern seems to be forming...(days until the 26th)

Most of the Taurus civilians had willingly put themselves in confinement. As their symptoms began to rise, at the very least, there was little chance for them to cause problems. It looked like, hopefully, that they could hold back a lot of the damage and deaths to the city.

How completely wrong they would end up being...

▼ The day of reckoning...(April 26th, before the 13th Hour)

In retrospect, they should have realized something was wrong. While the Scorpio civilians were screaming about doom much like it had been predicted, Aquarius and Leo were not.

More research was needed...but there was no time now.

Somehow, everyone that had gone to the holding facilities were being freed from their confinement areas. No one knew who or got in, or how they got out, but many guards were injured in the process-- or worse.

The city turned into an all too (unfortunately) familiar sight. The Taurus civilians were causing havoc in the city, joined by others that the city had not predicted. Observers and Researchers quickly realized that these were all the earth signs, and a signal was given out; but too little, too late.

The city needed to fight back, lest it lose even more of its members. The situation was dire, but they had the Visitors on their side.

...For better or for worse.

▼ The Hour at Hand...(April 26th, 13th Hour)

13th Hour.

By now, the city was in chaos. For those who had witnessed the Scorpio outbreak it was an unfortunate similarity they might want to forget, but for others, this horror was brand new.

Giant mechanical bulls patrolled the city and continued to swarm, the police force trying to contain them and help as many as they could.

As time went on, mechanical parts and rocks fell to the floor from the bulls. Once the 13th hour hit...the remaining ones mutated, standing on two legs. And that wouldn't even be the worst of it...

And yet even in this Hour, there is hope. Power surges in a select few, and with a new skill at their tips, the battle may be won yet. But remember your mission: you came to protect this city. That includes the people living here. With so much chaos, you'll also need to help them and reduce the number of deaths as much as possible...and try not too look too closely at a looming figure in the Taurus Ward...

[Noda didn't let himself get confined. He could take good care of his emotions!

Except not. To some people, though, it looked like he was always on his bad moods, shouting at everyone who came close to him with threatening words. If they were to linger around for more than two minutes, that was when he would get more violent, swinging his halberd around or even summoning his persona out to attack..]

[25th]
[On the 25th, Noda's eyes are glowing red as he's snarling at everyone and at first glance it looks like he's completely berserk and unable to communicate.]

[26th]
[Noda is seen running around stealing all of the bladed weapons that he could find. If you have one in your hand, it is most likely that he will try to take it from you.]

26th:
[Otonashi holds a heavily used scalpel, but he would be happy to pass it off to Noda (read: current, abrupt idol) if asked. By now, he has already contributed the kitchen knife he began with to help increase Noda's collection. The redhead follows him like a lost puppy, awaiting any sign, any command and ready to defend this idiot's honor.

Honor! ... As if Noda has any.

Oh, and he's standing close to you, Noda. Very close. Please pay attention to him.]

[If Otonashi were of a different sign, Noda would have taken that scalpel for his collection of weapons. But he knew the redhead wouldn't steal his collection, so he let that alone as is.

But he's slightly uncomfortable having you right next to him.]

Don't stand so close to me.

[Perhaps Noda should invest in some educational posters.]

Ah—

Of course..!

[And then he takes one single step to the side, completely rigid otherwise. Because o m g senpai noticed him heeheehee.]

How's this?

[Noda makes a fast at Otonashi. Was he this cheerful and agreeable before? He doesn't think too much into it because there were weapons to be collected. From other people too.]

We're getting more. [And then he sets off to go raid another store!]

More? W-what should I do?

[He follows too closely behind Noda, completely unfazed by the blood spatters on his clothing and the idea of assaulting an innocent storefront.

Under the influence of the stars, he feels utterly INVINCIBLE. Invincible, and eager to please...]

[In normal circumstances, Noda probably would've went "go somewhere I won't see you." But this wasn't a normal situation at all, he needed get all the weapons he could find and having help only made it easier, so why not?

Plus it didn't look like he would get off his butt anytime soon...]

Help me in carrying some of the weapons.

[Just as he says that, he comes across a weapon shop, and he swings his halberd ax to break the window.]

[Aoi's naginata has already been sacrificed to the pile of Bladed Things. She's also using her Power to shield Noda from any attacks that come his way, and may just attempt to fling offenders away with her telekinesis (sans their weapons if they are bladed).

However, the barrier can be broken and the telekinesis can be resisted with enough physical strength, so feel free to have at!]

[ Yuri may not be holding them in her hands, but it's quite obvious that she has bladed weapons on her. After all, it's better to be safe and careful than to be unarmed, especially since a lot of people were, well, going completely insane.

But she'll just follow Noda to make sure he doesn't pull any other shit. ]

[Don't let Noda sniff out that knife, he'll turn around and start attacking you--

Noda realizes someone is behind him as Amarok turn to look at Yuri. Since Yuri's not an earth sign, he takes his halberd in hand and with a roar, he dashes towards Yuri.]

[ Yuri jumps back, noticing that she's being attacked by one of her SSS members. This wasn't good at all, and she knew it. However, she had no choice but to fight back. And she knows that, well, a halberd is nothing compared to her usual knives.

Sure, they can stand up to Kanade, but to this idiot?

No.

Time to do things long distance and start shooting. Of course, she's not going to aim for any of his vitals. Though she might hurt him a little.

~~After all, it's all for the dumbest younger brother!!~~ ]

[Noda gets hit at the arm, but that doesn't make him stop as he keeps charging towards Yuri, swinging down his halberd at her.]

[ And she'll quickly run back, deciding to shoot low this time, trying to get him to stop charging and moving. ]

[Seemingly out of nowhere, the blue-haired teenager throws himself into the fray. He swings at the pole of Noda's halberd with his baseball bat, trying to knock the other boy off balance.]

Idiot! What are you doing!? [His voice came strained and frightened. Otonashi had already tried to kill him, and now Noda was attacking Yuri!? Surely this had to be a mistake... For now, he'd ignore Yuri's presence, as she appeared to be uninjured. He'd focus on the moron in front of him.]

[He unexpected hit does throw Noda off, but he takes a few steps back to regain his balance. He readies his halberd for another swing, growling at Hinata as he glares at the new enemy.

Anger and frustration still has full control, and Noda doesn't bother to answer Hinata as he starts charging towards the blue-haired one to cut him down.]
