▼ The Darkening Days

 

Who: Everyone. This is a general catch-all Taurus Event log. If you would like to do your own separate logs either due to pacing or easier loading, by all means, please do so!
Where: The Entire City
Summary: The last days of the Taurus event as things start to sour dramatically. During the 13th hour, Mutation Skills are unlocked for certain people (see the info post here) and now people have a chance against the swarming mechanized bulls. Unfortunately, for some, this means the paranoia hit a new low....if you want, you can get together and join each other's posts to try to hold the city down and protect everyone!
Warnings: Strange Attitudes, NPCs, Attacking, Battles.
Note: Please mark your post with what date they are happening. We are allowing anywhere from the 23th to future-dating to the 26th itself. Go on and have fun!

▼ The nights grow weary and a pattern seems to be forming...(days until the 26th)

 

Most of the Taurus civilians had willingly put themselves in confinement. As their symptoms began to rise, at the very least, there was little chance for them to cause problems. It looked like, hopefully, that they could hold back a lot of the damage and deaths to the city.

How completely wrong they would end up being...

▼ The day of reckoning...(April 26th, before the 13th Hour)

 

In retrospect, they should have realized something was wrong. While the Scorpio civilians were screaming about doom much like it had been predicted, Aquarius and Leo were not.

More research was needed...but there was no time now.

Somehow, everyone that had gone to the holding facilities were being freed from their confinement areas. No one knew who or got in, or how they got out, but many guards were injured in the process-- or worse.

The city turned into an all too (unfortunately) familiar sight. The Taurus civilians were causing havoc in the city, joined by others that the city had not predicted. Observers and Researchers quickly realized that these were all the earth signs, and a signal was given out; but too little, too late.

The city needed to fight back, lest it lose even more of its members. The situation was dire, but they had the Visitors on their side.

...For better or for worse.

▼ The Hour at Hand...(April 26th, 13th Hour)

 

13th Hour.

By now, the city was in chaos. For those who had witnessed the Scorpio outbreak it was an unfortunate similarity they might want to forget, but for others, this horror was brand new.

Giant mechanical bulls patrolled the city and continued to swarm, the police force trying to contain them and help as many as they could.

As time went on, mechanical parts and rocks fell to the floor from the bulls. Once the 13th hour hit...the remaining ones mutated, standing on two legs. And that wouldn't even be the worst of it...

And yet even in this Hour, there is hope. Power surges in a select few, and with a new skill at their tips, the battle may be won yet. But remember your mission: you came to protect this city. That includes the people living here. With so much chaos, you'll also need to help them and reduce the number of deaths as much as possible...and try not too look too closely at a looming figure in the Taurus Ward...

Tsukasa || 25th and 26th (13th hour)

[25th (13th Hour)] [Capricorn District]

[He's feeling twitchy, so exploring is the best idea, right? Right.]

[Wrong. Tsukasa runs into a Tokebi, and tries to cast a Vulcan Pha on it. The spell doesn't seem to do much, and through the flames comes the demon, swiping at him.]

[His panic, which is already pretty bad, gets worse. Tsukasa screams, and a shape appears in front of him, spinning slightly and casting a Mamudo. The Tokebi disappears, and Tsukasa sits down hard, staring at his Persona.]

That's... it's... no...

[It's something She gave him... he doesn't want it here.]

Go away! Go away!

[He pulls his knees into his chest and drops his head, just hoping the thing will leave.]

[26th (13th Hour)] [All Around]

[He's feeling better. The fear's gone. These weird people are chasing him though, and he can't warp away! ... Some of them are scared off by his spells though, thankfully. Tsukasa's roaming around, seeing if there are more monsters that look good for farming, or if anyone needs a healer.]

26th, 13th Hour - Virgo Spotted!

[In the distance, a cloaked figure walks a nearby street, seemingly unaware of Tsukasa. A weapon of some sort appears to be held in one of his hands, with bright green energy flowing forth from it. The red sky appearing through the dark clouds cast the horns — both of his helmet and the bull horns that seem melded on — in a eerie, dangerous light, and if the angle is just right, his eyes glow its own shade of red.]

((OOC: Tell me if you don't want this to become a fight! I figured I'd spring this on Tsukasa to see their reaction. Zero might be a bit much to deal with at this point...))

[Tsukasa stares at the person. He's not sure what they're doing, but he's still afraid a bit. He stands back a bit.]

[Should he engage? He's not sure. He decides to just watch for a bit.]

[Luckily Tsukasa still remains undetected. The figure walks away slowly but with intent down that street, their sword of green light firmly gripped in one of his hands.

Does Tsukasa follow, or let discretion be a better choice?]

[... Yeah okay he's following. That's just... super suspicious. Thankfully he's still got a lot of mana left.]

[A flash of lightning bears down nearby towards the intersection as soon as the figure visits the corner of the street.

A distant sound picks up in the air, making him stop in his tracks: "N-no...! Go away!"

It's difficult to hear, but it catches the horned person's attention as their head quickly snaps towards the source. He disappears from view as he turns the corner and walks off, though with more speed than before. If Tsukasa was quick enough to turn the corner in time, he would have seen quite the sight: The figure had their sword arm raised with the Z-Saber ready to bear down on a helpless person.

Regardless, suddenly the skies shift back from the crimson red of the 13th Hour to the natural night-light of any other full moon.

"P-please don't hurt me! I'm sorry! I'm sorry!"

The black-haired girl's panicked plea at first appears to be ignored by the being, but soon enough the light disappeared from the weapon, his arm and head simultaneously lowering. The girl takes the chance without a moment's hesitation, summoning her persona, a wooden puppet of possible renown watching over her as she ran off clumsily, panicking still despite the threat having expired, a large wind-up key attached to her back if that's of any significance.

The Reploid stands there for a time longer, should Tsukasa attempt to approach. He no longer has his forward-facing horns, though his helmet makes him look possibly unnatural all the same, his shawl concealing the rest of his body save for his long blond hair.]
