"Right, now ignoring that outburst, I believe that congratulations are in order. We've survived yet another of these monsters, but that doesn't quite solve the issue of why it exists as all. Regardless, the rest of the night is a cause for celebration,as the main danger has been neutralized." He let that sink in for a few seconds. Q wasn't the type to congratulate so freely.

"Go get some rest if you can. After tonight's contribution, you've certainly earned it. There will certainly be a lot to clean up tomorrow..."

Latooni lets out a panting breath and slumps over her controls. Her head hurts, and not because the out-of-place bull horns just fell off of it. She feels woozy, slightly nauseous, and deeply confused about why she'd been trying to defend a giant bull demon.

Xellos stumbles as the odd sadistic streak that's been lingering in him fades. Or in his case, goes back to normal. There's a moment of him holding his head, reflecting on what's happened here before he shakes the fog off, and steps back away from the group.

"Yes, there's been enough embarrassment and acting out for a very, very long time," he mutters, then fades off into nothing, taking his leave quite abruptly.

"That was actually far more challenging than I'd anticipated," Fumi comments, smiling in self-satisfaction. "And this has opened up several new potential avenues of research. It looks like I'll be busier here than I'd first anticipated."
