It as huge. Huge and angry and annoyed and a lot of other things that wouldn't be fit to write here about the creature's temperament. You'd beaten it once, but it wasn't going to let itself just be destroyed that easy! If it was going, it was going to do as much damage as possible.

What did you do with something was as big a a skyscraper? At least it didn't look like it could move, but that didn't mean it couldn't attack. The beast did a hand motion and a spell enveloped it inside a protective sphere.

Your move.

"I'm going to have to have a talk with that Philemon character about this defective Persona he gave me," Fumi complains, frowning in irritation as she glances back at Vapula, still floating behind her impassively.

With a sigh, she shakes her head and prepares another defensive spell of her own.

It had been a bit confusing when suddenly he'd been underground and then not. There hadn't been a Corridor anywhere near him. Fumi's ability certainly wasn't what he'd been expecting, that's for sure.

On top of that Taura was not yet down for good. She'd risen from the ground and was changed. Of course it had been too easy and now she was massive!

"Not good!" There's no hesitation from the Keyblade Wielder.

Up he jumped, higher then before and when he reached the limit of his Super Jump Sora brought that blunt weapon into a downward slash that was strong enough to create a shockwave.

Latooni stares up at Taura's mutated form. This was getting out of hand quickly.

"Maybe we should have brought our PTs, Major..." she commented as she tried to focus and see if this new form had inherited Taura's weaknesses.

"I don't think Philemon, or your persona is the problem here, Miss - I didn't intend to wind up here, either..." Xellos sighs as well, pushing a bit of hair out of his face, and then violently swinging his staff in Taura's direction, slinging a hard-hitting blast of blackish-purple energy.

He certainly doesn't seem bothered by the creature's size, that's for certain.

"Maybe if the others can keep it busy for a second one of us can get them and deal with this."

Elzam looks at his watch, then up at the monster and pulls his evoker again, letting loose another light attack.

The scan results quickly came in and they weren't promising...

"She's weak to Wind now. Focus on that! That barrier will stop Water, too."

Latooni focuses on the offense, even though she doesn't have any Wind skills. Going out of control to this extent...she could really cause some damage, even kill people. Barely even thinking about it, she calls on Vasilisa to help the rest of the party, resulting in a skill she'd never seen before: the Persona split into blueish and reddish copies and performed a sequence of dance moves she knew very well. The rest of the team would be healed of whatever moderate damage had happened since the last Mediarahan and have their agility enhanced by the spectacle, before the twin Persona finally hit Taura for physical damage.

The results were quite different now. When the Dark and Light attacks hit the creature in force...they hit and did absolutely nothing. Sora and Latooni's physical spells made it move a bit, but it barely seemed to make an indent.

In response, it began to cast other spells at itself that turned into a cacophony of rainbow lights, and earthly shields covered in dangerous-looking spikes that hovered all around it.

"Well, that certainly doesn't look promising..." Fumi groans, shaking her head and summoning forth her other demon: Fenghuang the phoenix. Sensing its masters will, the great bird flaps its wings, letting loose a huge torrent of wind in Taura's direction.

Elzam frowned at the lack of anything from the persona, then his radio chimed in. Looking down with a smirk he ran off.

"Tch. " Fine then. If this monster wanted to play hardball then Sora could do that. He jumped into the air, hovering there with his Keyblade raised above his head as a tornado formed and made a beeline for Taura. When the funnel disappeared he touched back down on the ground.

"Two minutes. Er, rounds of attacks. I...I don't know what those barriers do yet..."

Latooni stares upward, getting close to panic from lack of time and a creeping feeling she was somehow responsible for this, before her COMP interrupts her. Seeing Ratsel leave, she turns to follow him.

"I'll be right back. Keep hitting her with wind if you can!"

The complete lack of results from his prior attack makes Xellos quirk a brow, but he'll chalk that up to the strangeness of this world more than anything.

He still doesn't like it, though.

His staff comes to bear, and the gem in the head of it glows before a focused, spiraling torrent of air erupts from it. "DIEM WING!"

[Latooni and Elzam are not affected because they are not there currently.
First spell: Only Sora was affected by the dice rolls, the spell lasts one turn.
Second spell: Fumi, Sora and Xellos are affected by the Happy status. It lasts 2 turns unless a spell is used on them.

One, two, three! That was a lot of wind blown the way of the monster! As the gusts flew towards the now gigantic target, they began to merge together into a gigantic wind hurricane. Up and up it went, spinning the creature around violently along with some of the rubble. Suddenly, as fast as it had started, it stopped, violently dumping the creature to the floor where it fell with a satisfying crack. Thankfully the nearby buildings didn't seem to be damage from the small earthquake that followed.

But the damage was visible on it, and Taura's defenses which it had built before this attack where completely gone.

Vulnerable, it shifted strategy. The reddish eyes increased in glow as with a wave of its arms, it crushed the orb, shattering it to become a blue mist. Bringing to close to it's mouth, it blew it at all of the three remaining fighters. It tickled and pass, but only affecting Sora.

His form shifted, as the tall monster began to get even bigger...or was he getting smaller? Until he reverted to his 5 year old self, the clothing suddenly too big for him. Thankfully is mind was intact, however, stuck with the excitement a five year old had at the time.

Then before the others could react, it sang a strange song, one that reach deep inside their minds and triggered uncontrollable laughter. Suddenly the situation didn't seem that bad! In fact it was pretty funny, with this giant thing wriggling out in the streets wasn't it? Ha ha ha ha! D'awww look at kid Sora....wouldn't it be nice if he had grandparents?

Didn't think so? Too bad.

Their minds distracted, Taura waved its hands again, the orb reforming as it used its other clawed hand to obliterate the item again. This time, the mist affected Xellos and Fumi, turning them into sixty year olds in appearance. (For Xellos, one could assume the age where he would look like a 60 year old.) Yet all they could do was laugh. Laugh and laugh and laugh and...

...let's just hope the robots showed up soon. This could get really ugly really quick. It was no laughing matter. They just didn't see it that way right now.

Woah, what was happening? That was an odd sensation and suddenly Taura was really big and really funny looking! Sora can't stop laughing and he doesn't even realize it.

"There's no escape..."

From atop the nearest large building, silhouetted in the moonlight a large black robot stands there, cape flapping in the wind for a moment before it tosses it to the side and pulls both its rifles, one of its shoulder guards flying off with the cape.

"Trombe... Gallop!"

Leaping off the building it starts raining plasma beams down upon Taura as it spins and bounces off another building. Continuing to fire as it lands on the ground and starts circling the beast, still firing as if ammunition were not a thing. Stopping the robot charges its full reactor output into a blast and fires, missing the target but reflecting off the stray shoulder guard towards the back of the monster.

"Curse your own misfortune for running into me."

The robot twirls and holsters its rifles then grabs its cape out of the air as it floats by and refastens it.

Well, this whole thing is apparently just suddenly hilarious. Heedless of her sudden change in appearance, Fumi just starts cackling like the Wicked Witch of the West, shrill mocking laughter cutting through the air as she starts cracking up at Sora and Xellos.

"You two look ridiculous!"

At least her earlier Shield All spell is in effect. That was really the one consolation any of them could take at this point, with the boss' ultimate attack only one round away. Perhaps it would be enough to save them until they were able to return to normal and finish the job.

Latooni didn't even bother speaking or taunting. She swooped in in the Wildraubtier, and putting her feelings aside, targeted the huge monster with its beam cannon. She just had to hope that with everyone else taking down the barriers, this would actually work, and she could prevent whatever attack it was charging up for.

The plane-like mech swooped in, locked on, and fired beams of light at the huge bull, seeking a vulnerable spot, or at least trying to create one.

If Xellos wasn't too busy laughing and feeling horribly sickened about it, he'd be more worried that such a spell had an effect on him. And that he actually looked a lot closer to his age right now, though that was less obvious. Granted, the laughter coming from him was also that of an old man's, but, y'know. Too busy with that to actually think about it.

At the sight of the robots, the creature let out the equivalent of a squawk of surprise, as it's features melted into fear for a few seconds. When the fire hit, it fell back, although it didn't seem as damaging as it could have been, making deep gaps into the road. When the lightning attack from the other mecha flew towards her, it fizzled out.

Laughter, the type that could strike fear in the hearts of men, echoed around, not just from her but the area around them, a terrible echo. In rapid succession, it cast not three four four spells on itself, the final one freezing into a stolid gold metallic statue.

...was that an error? The battlefield turned quiet.

Unmoving.

And just in time for a familiar voice to speak in all their minds again.

"I seem to have arrived just in time! And...hmm... no this will not do..."

Casting a healing spell from a long distance was probably not a skill that most support users could do. It spoke of how strong Q's Persona skills had become. The effects of the curse and the laughing fit subsided and they all found themselves a little more energized.

"Much better! I'd rather you all listen to me with your wits about you, unlike those young ones in the...no matter. Now pay attention! The Scorpio creature didn't do anything similar, but it may be tricking you into attacking it. Or it may just be the opposite....I'll scan it for you."
