Vanellope is glad that Tapper's is no longer a hiding place for scared citizens and now smoothly operating once more. It was a lot of work to clean the place up...for her staff. (She did help a little.)

Right now, she's pondering new menu items, though the bar seems to be doing well with only three-four items. "Hey, I've got it! Candy-coated sesame seed buns! You wish you had these great ideas, don't ya?"

She's got ways to go with figuring out a new product.

It gets incredibly boring to just lounge around in bed waiting for your throat to heal enough that you can talk, so Desco decided to sneak out.

And, hey, the owner of this fine establishment is, in fact, her next-door neighbor at the apartments!

...hopefully Vanellope won't hold the weird smells coming from Desco's apartment against her.

Anyway: Desco floats over to the counter, sits down on a stool, and re-absorbs Usatako, leaving her back split open just enough to keep one tentacle free - just enough to speak with. The tentacle itself splits open and releases a sound like seventeen damned souls groaning in unison.
