Girls' Night

Who: IT Girls and the girls they friended. Possibly the guys living there. [Semi-Closed?]
Where: Amagi Inn
Summary: Girls get together and have fun. Possibly make a party out of kicking Jack Clan ass. Could embarrass weirdo boys who knows?
Warnings: Slapstick demon hurting? Weird Truth or Dare hijacks maybe? Who knows, it's women.

There's been too much crazy stuff going on lately and honestly, Yukiko wanted to do something to cheer up her friends while possibly getting her to be a little more...out there she supposed. That was when she decided to call up a couple of her female friends as well as talk with Chie and Rise, to start up something that normal women would call a 'Girls Night'.

So basically, it's a bunch of girls hanging out at the inn and having fun.

(OOC: It's pretty much a free-for-all. If your lady has any kind of CR with Yukiko, any IT girl, or a friend of a friend, then assume Yukiko invited them over. There will be sub threads for certain things so it stays nice and clean...even if someone beats up a demon. >.>)

[Someone is stocked up on horrible romantic comedies, weird horror flicks, and some...animated ones? Popcorn will be provided and possibly used to throw at the TV.]

[Trying out that new curry recipe she found after the festival as well as try cooking eggs per Caroline's request.

Who dares to help?]

[Yukiko was hoping to end the evening with a nice relaxing soak with her friends as well as finish off those eggs earlier. That is until her pyro jack came up to her rather hysterical, mentioning something about an argument happening in the springs. Strange that no one else but the girls is supposed to be in said spring. That is until Yukiko opened the door to reveal her old enemies.

Not just Pyro Jacks...but Jack Frosts as well. Were they seriously arguing over the water temperature?!

It's on.]

[DANGER, YUKIKO AMAGI, DANGER]

Y-Yukiko-san...! Do you need some help with anything?

[Cooking buddy is on this.]

Labrys has been looking forward to girls' night ever since Yukiko first invited her. Someone told her it would be kind to bring something over for the get-together, so she has two six-packs of citrus sodas. It's one of the foods she can have, so to speak, without damaging her system. She enters the inn with a beaming smile, very excited to be back.

"Hey Yukiko-chan! Where ya hidin'?"

Anybody nearby or coming in would be certain to hear and likely see her.

[Nano's absolutely tickled at having been invited out to something like this - it's really a testament to how much she's managed to open up and fit in with people since coming to Hinoto-Ri. She wasn't exactly sure what to wear, so she's just got a blue t-shirt on, though she also seems to be carrying an overnight bag packed to the brim with other things to wear, snacks, and assorted odds and ends. Lugging it through the front door with some difficulty, she sets it down with a loud thunk before catching her breath and calling out.]

Yukiko-san? Hello? Is anyone here yet?

Desco was just flying around like she normally does when she saw Miss Nano and decided to follow her.

She does that.

She sets down behind Nano with an audible thump - not something she usually does, but she still can't speak and it serves as a way of alerting Miss Nano - and reabsorbs Usatako into her back before trotting up behind Nano and greeting her with a raised pad of paper.

Hello, Miss Nano! Desco is here!

"Labrys-chan! Hey!" Rise said. She was moving into the common room from the kitchen carrying, for some reason, a large platter of fancy-looking tofu.

"Oh, good, something with sugar to balance this out. For some reason the Inn wound up with a fridge full of stuff from my grandmother's place...," she explained, eyeing the soda enthusiastically.

[Without warning or preamble, a feminine archangel appears above Rise's yukata'd frame.]

I'll take the fire ones if you take the ice ones, Senpai.

Miki never had a real girl's night out before. Was when Minami, herself and Aigis going to the arcade count as that? Probably not. Most of her life had been centered around boys (as in working with them, not fantasizing bout them THANK YOU VERY MUCH mostly anyway).

So what should she bring? How was she supposed to get dressed? Was there any customs or things she should be bringing for a sleepover?

How was she supposed to do anything?!

Okay okay okay. After panicking for a few minutes, she had finally managed to pick things that she thought might fit and went with logic; no use bringing her bed covers or pillow since the in already had beds. Phew! That was one thing less to think about. All she needed was a toothbrush, toothpase, a few spare red barrets for her hair, a towel, a swimsuit, evening outfit, slightly warmer outfit, a may be really cold outside better plan outfit, her sleeping gown...okay maybe that was a tiny-wee-little bit too much but you could never be sure, right? Good thing she didn't wear makeup.

When she finally knocked on the Inn that night, the bag behind her was filled to the brim, and she carried a large cardboard box full of something that was clacking against each other.

"H-hi!" she stammered, the shyness of her younger years resurfacing for a brief moment of relapse. It was easier facing Shadows and fighting in tournaments than meeting in a place that was filled with just girls.

"I bought these with my employee discount! There's enough for everyone!" No wait, they didn't have to know that gdit.... "I mean uh...they're Ramune bottles. There's....a lot of different flavors?"

Nailed it.

Oh! I've heard of this game before! I've always wanted to try it!

[Nano, delighted, claps her hands together.

Girls, there is a first timer in your midst. You know what to do.]

Nice! She'd made a great choice in party food. She would have to make a mental note that sugar was good for future parties. That helps put her at ease; she's not nervous about being around her friends, but more of how to interact in this event. "What's all that? Looks interesting."

Not to worry, Miki. You're not the only one new to girls' night. The anti-shadow weapon approaches Miki enthusiastically.

"Oh! I love those! They've got a marble inside of'em. You'd think they'd make'em in different colors to get ya to buy more." ~~Someone might be pulling the tops off and removing the marbles.~~

[It isn't like she hasn't been to a girls' night (spoilers: she really hasn't), but a party is a party, right? Which is likely why there are suddenly quite a few pies, tarts, and other sweets filling the kitchen along with the tofu and whatever else the others brought.

Considering she helped run the inn while someone is at school, it's no surprise there are so many when she didn't have to transport much aside from ingredients and even then, it's just a Light corridor away.

Bother her while she's finishing the icing on the last batch of cookies? ~~no she totally wasn't looking for an excuse to bake again what are you talking about~~]

[Nano arrived a little early in her excitement, so she's already around when her robo-buddy from school shows up in the entry hall. Coming around the corner wearing one of the inn's robes, she greets her friend with a big smile.]

Labrys-san! Hello!

[Perfect timing! Before she tries her hand at the eggs, she's attempting that curry recipe and shows it to Nano.]

I found this a couple of days ago behind a picture of my parents. I wanted to try it out and see how it would go. Maybe Rise-chan would like it since she loves spicy things.

[...Well, well, look at who's around. Shepard raises a bemused eyebrow and smiles a little as she heads in, having planned to do some cooking herself.]

Haven't seen you in a while. How's life been treating you, Aqua?

[...You know, she really wasn't sure of what to make of these so-called 'horror flicks'. She gets that they're supposed to be scary, but are predictable jump scares all they could do?]

You know, they could've done the special effects a lot better than this. It's not like they had a low budget.

[There's that too, because none of the costumes in this one look half as convincing as they should be.]

[Well unlike the rest of you, Minako's been to girls' nights before. And one at this very inn, in fact! Well, it was a gathering for her sports team, but it still counted. ~~Keep her away from the remote for the lights tonight.~~

She's carrying a bag with her, which when it's opened will reveal a batch of homemade banana cupcakes. Can't have too much food at these events.]

Hello! Where are we leaving the snacks?

[You know how it's supposed to be horror, right? Not meant for anyone to have a sudden laughing fit in the middle of the jump scare.

But then there's Yukiko who is doing just that. This was scary???]

[...Really, Yukiko? Really? Excuse the only sane woman while she bumps her palm against her head.]

I get that it's silly, but is it really worth a huge laughing fit?

After the fight in the spring and getting closer to winding down, (seriously, residents of Hinoto-Ri must not mind teenagers all over the place here), someone suggested telling ghost stories.

[Nano screams as she sees the Frosts, not having expected that they'd have this sort of company in the springs. As if responding to her fear, the Hermit card floats down in front of her and she shoots at it in a panic with the gun attachment in her right arm, shattering the card and calling out her new Persona.

For anyone interested, there are now about 20 or so grapes littered along the floor of the bathing area. You didn't think Nano actually had a useful robotic attachment for a second there, did you?]
