[Open] Doing what a General does best

Shura training in the tatami room of the gym is actually quite new. Usually she sticks to the treadmill, maybe lift a (huge) weight or too and calls it a day. Her punching technique has absolutely nothing on that of a real boxer like Akihiko Sanada and she is no martial artist either.

Today, however, not only has she started practising katas in the public gym, but she's also doing so with a tessen easily half as big as she is tall. Despite the ridiculously oversized weapon and the fact that she is normally a unarmed fighter who's clumsy at best with weapons, she is currently moving with feline grace and deadly precision, only stopping once in a while to correct her position or drink some water and wipe her face with her towel, frowning deeply, looking rather crossed.

"I don't... know. I remember training, but I don't know how to use any of this."

He shakes his head.

[demifemme]

"You too?" She snapped her fan shut elegantly. "I cannot for the life of me remember using a weapon in combat, let alone a tessen. And yet, here I am."

"I don't do physical combat. I'm a Wavemaster. We're the long-range spellcasters and the healers. I don't know that I could even pick up a sword."

Game stats are weird things.

They are. Fortunately, in her previous life, Shura played some video games.

"So in other words... glass cannon."

[aurathread]

"Basically. I'm not meant for tanking."

At least she seems to understand what he means.
