Summary: Judas is out of the hospital, has found work as a salesperson in a computer store, and is celebrating his newfound employment like most other people: by looking to buy stuff.
Warnings: None so far, will edit if any serious topics come up in conversation.

[Judas is self-effacing and very good with technology; this makes him a wonderful fit for the service part of the Cancer district. If you're looking to buy something electronic, and relatively mundane (phones and computers, not weird gizmos) you might find that Judas is the guy in the uniform asking if he can help you.

Or you might find him in any other store examining all those weird gizmos. It's not as if there wasn't weird technological stuff in Judas's world, it's just that there wasn't so much of it all in one city, as far as he knew. Some of the stranger contraptions throw him off a bit... But he eventually nods and writes down on a pad of paper details about everything that catches his eye: price, pros, cons. Then he'll leave without buying anything just yet.

He's windowshopping today. If he'd been a careless spender there's no way he would have been trusted with the disciples' money.]

Exactly. There is no reason to spend extra money on the same product.

Right... Hmm, I'll have to careful when I go clothes shopping, then.

They're fun- if you have some spare time and any interest, you might try one.

I think I might, they certainly sound interesting. And my job isn't too consuming, so I have some spare time.

We'll be a financially secure household yet.

Right! Hmm... And while clothes shopping is out of the question, would you assist me with food shopping?

Of course. I'm not familiar with every kind of food they serve here, but if it's labeled, I can manage comparison shopping.

Excellent, your assistance is very much appreciated, Judas. [Zoe beams happily at him, before she gets distracted by another weird looking gadget.]

I think it might be a universal key... or at least, one that can change shapes if programmed carefully. A simple keychain would work better, though.

[And then Zoe shrieks and kicks it across the street- I mean

She tilts her head, placing a hand on her hip as she frowns.]

... I'll never understand why people need these fancy gadgets for things that are so simple. But at least they're interesting.

It's something people have always liked to do.

I wouldn't really know, I was raised in a more magic-based household. Though my memere and papi were pretty fond of things like this.

It sounds like you're very fond of them...

[papillonmagique]

I am! [She smiles softly, her voice taking on a fond tone.] Memere and papi and pépère helped mama to raise me since papa worked away a lot. It was also thanks to them I managed to find a good teacher for my magic.

You're a very fortunate person.

[papillonmagique]

[She shrugs lightly.] My family was all I had for most of my life... But they were incredibly good to me and made sure my childhood was happy, despite how people viewed us.

May I ask... how people viewed you? Or, maybe I should ask about it later in private.

I don't really care if anyone here knows, it's not as if it wasn't common knowledge back home. [She flips her hair over her shoulder, hmph-ing to herself.]

They viewed my family and I as dangerous and people to be wary of, mages who could not control their magic. This was due to my ancestor summoning a demon which caused much damage... You can imagine my... incident didn't help much either.
