In the excitement of summer, it might have slipped some Visitor's minds to go out and patrol the city during the 13th Hour. On the other hand, some were infused with even more energy on those summer nights. It really all depended on the person and perhaps whether their previous encounters were Frosts and Prinnies or something nastier.

Speaking of which... what was out there to be fought tonight?

"...Queen of Actually Evil Deeds, or maybe just Queen of Causing Trouble And Being Really Powerful?"

Helping her out doesn't count as an evil deed even if you blew stuff up, right... Midori's pretty sure of that.

[tyrantball]

Desco adopts a solemn expression and places one claw over her chest.

"As a proud and noble demon, Desco has pledged to commit only the most reprehensible of evil acts! Tremble in fear at Desco's litany of sin!"

With that, she starts ticking off various acts of evil on her claws.

"One time, Desco snuck into the faculty break room and stole Mr. Kotter's lunch box! And she is a habitual jaywalker, and she has also accepted bribes!"

A slight pause as she looks exceptionally delighted.

"And then, just to compound her evil acts, Desco didn't even do what the bribers wanted! So Desco is guilty of fraud, too!"

[prettytamer]

Midori lets out a 'phew'.

"That is pretty reprehensible! But you know, you shouldn't go rescuing heroes, that's not evil at all."

[tyrantball]

Desco waggles one crimson claw in mock reproach.

"Desco wasn't rescuing you, Desco was kill-stealing! That is a completely different thing!"

[prettytamer]

"Oooooh, right. You'd better be careful nobody gets confused."

She tries not to giggle at this conversation.

[tyrantball]

Don't worry, Desco will giggle for you. She is a very unrestrained little girl.

"Okay! Let's go beat demons up!"

Yaaaay!

[prettytamer]

"I'm right behind you!"

Could this be the sparks of a new hero-villain rivalry, or just a really weird acquaintanceship?

[tyrantball]

Probably the second one. Desco is a one-hero kind of girl.

It doesn't take long for Desco to find something to interest her - a pair of massive red dragons.

"Desco calls dibs on the one on the left!"

[prettytamer]

"I'll take the one on the right?"

That looks kinda tough... At least when Rangda throws herself into the fray it's apparent it doesn't have particular strength against physical attacks. Lakshmi is keeping out of the way (fire weakness!) and Midori is just about ready to call...

"Hanako-san!"

A young girl's spirit appears, sending ripples of water towards her dragon.

The one on the left lashes out at Desco with a strange, laser-like blast of fire. Had it been last month, when Lakshmi was fresh from the Velvet Room, Desco would have staggered backwards a bit, hit directly in her Fire weakness.

However, she's actually been using Lakshmi recently, so the Persona has unlocked the support skill Resist Fire. All the Atomic Ray skill does, therefore, is piss Desco off, causing her to remember a fight she'd rather forget. Glaring at the dragon, she snaps out three words.

"True Godly Weapon!"

The explosion blows the dragon's torso into multiple chunks, the dragon's head skidding across the ground to land at Desco's feet. Regarding it coldly, Desco picks it up and examines it.

"Desco is going to make this part of her Skull Throne!"

Good on you, Desco. Midori tries not to 'ewww' until after she's done with hers. It seems that the dragon took a bit of damage from Hanako's water attack as well as being distracted by the sheer physical strength of Rangda's onslaught, but there's no way she's going to one hit KO it.

The almighty magic Midori unleashes in a flurry of blasts does help, though.

Desco glances up from her inspection of the skull and idly chips in with another Bufudyne from Lakshmi.

"Do you want Desco to finish it off for you?"

[prettytamer]

"No, no, I can handle it."

SLooooowly.

[tyrantball]

"Okay! Desco will just keep you alive until you're done. Unless she gets bored."

With that, she casts Diarahan on Rangda.

[prettytamer]

"Thanks!"

She can heal herself, too, but she's not going to push it. Thankfully it won't take too much longer.

[tyrantball]

Desco will just amuse herself by stripping the meat from her new skull while she waits.

"Desco doesn't know your name."

[prettytamer]

"Midori! Nice to meet you-" Midori narrowly getting hit by an Atomic Ray. "-uh, Desco."

[tyrantball]

Yes this is the best time for introductions.

"Desco's full name is Death Extermination Submersible Combat Organism Kazamatsuri!"

[prettytamer]

"I don't think I can say that in one breath or while I'm fighting!"

[tyrantball]

"You don't have to! Desco never expects people to actually use her full name. She just really likes saying it."

[prettytamer]

"It is pretty cool."

One last attack knocks out the dragon. Midori sighs in relief.

[tyrantball]

Oh well that's good!

"Yay! You did it! Desco was about to become bored!"

[prettytamer]

"Sorry I'm not as strong as you, Desco."

Nobody is as strong as Desco!

[tyrantball]

Desco beams.

"Don't worry! You're only a human, after all! It'd be silly of Desco to expect you to measure up to the strength of the Final Boss!"

[prettytamer]

"Really? The final boss? Not just a major reoccurring antagonist?" Midori asks.
