Free-For-All 13th Hour Sale [Open]

Who: You, and also you!
Where: Around the city! Specify where in the reply, along with what night.
Summary: The Visitors have a job to make the city safer and strengthen their Personas to get cool powers.
Warnings: Violence against demons an inevitability; please mention any other warnings as they come up.

In the excitement of summer, it might have slipped some Visitor's minds to go out and patrol the city during the 13th Hour. On the other hand, some were infused with even more energy on those summer nights. It really all depended on the person and perhaps whether their previous encounters were Frosts and Prinnies or something nastier.

Speaking of which... what was out there to be fought tonight?

[This is an open 13th Hour log! Replies should include date and location in the subject line. Have fun and remember to tag your characters!]

June 17th, Sagittarius District

Amid the buildings and factories of this district, there is a periodic sound of metal upon metal. Normally, this wouldn't be odd for the industrial area, but this sound is erratic and forceful.

It may have something to do with the two giant robots clashing. As would the sound of crumbling masonry as the two-faced robot crashes into a building following a powerful punch from the other.

"Damn it...!" Simon sputters, clenching the controls as he forces Gurren-Lagann to get back up. "Something's screwy here - it shouldn't be this difficult to take something down!"

A spectacle like this is bound to attract attention, or even assistance - but could one tell at a glance which one was the Visitor, and which was the monster?

Giant robots brawling it out and wrecking their surroundings is pretty hard to miss. Ignoring would probably be the reasonable thing to do, but Alex always finds his own reasoning with these things. Right now they might not be touching anything important however if the fight drags on damage will accumulate, and it might spill out to more populated areas.

This isn't his fight; hell he doesn't even know who the sides are or if there's even a good or bad side. All Alex does know is one or both sides need to go down so they stop making a mess. The fact that the sides in question are giant fucking robots doesn't worry him in the least, they're just over-sized tanks with legs. Fucking easy.

As he makes his way across some rooftops towards the machines the thought strikes him that maybe he should at least attempt to figure out what the deal is before attacking everything. The only things around to ask though are the robots... that red one looks like it might have a face though, or two, so maybe it can talk? Worth a shot and if it doesn't pan out no one can say he didn't try. Those shoulders are a good place to stand on and address the top head, he can't think of anything better so it'll do.

Damn they're still fighting aren't they? This is a really bad idea but there's no going back now, Alex just grits his teeth and gives one last full jump towards the fray. Thankfully his aim is dead on and he lands on on Gurren-Lagann, right next to the top head. He'd take a moment to brag about how he's still got it if he wasn't worried about being punched by one or both robots any minute, so best cut to the chase.

"Hey there big fella, do you realize you're wrecking the place?" The 'or do you even care?' goes unspoken, he might not be afraid but he'd rather not piss off the giant destruction machine just yet.

Gurren-Lagann pauses and the head turns to look at Alex, momentarily boggling at how he got boarded, reflecting Simon's own puzzlement. Well, he was too focused on his own failings here to notice for one...

"Yeah, but I'm not trying to! I'm trying to stop this thing!" Gurren-Lagann points at their opponent, who appears to be winding up for some kind of attack. And then there's this assholerandom weird guy just hanging out on his shoulder.

"Hold on!" Simon shouts, and shoves a hand forward, which morphs into a large cone drill - which then warps widely into a circular shield shape in a flash of green energy.
