Shiny Side Out
Who: Desco and Tachikoma
Where: Libra Ward Apartment Complex, specifically Desco's room
When: Sunday, June 23rd
Summary: Tachikoma decides to try fulfill an Aramid Room request with the help of her new friend
Warnings: None in particularly
Tachikoma was given a seemingly simple request the last time she visited the Aramid Room. Tinfoil hats taken to an extreme. If a hat could protect one's own head when worn, what would it do for someone's room?
Tachikoma considered wallpapering her room, but she doesn't have telepathy. And she's pretty sure putting up all that tinfoil would mess up her wifi communication abilities. She thought maybe her friends could her. And that's when she thought this would be a great way to get to know her new friend Desco. They shared memories, so of course they were friends. And friends help friends, so she wouldn't mind if Tachikoma covered her room in tinfoil.
After gathering many, many, many rolls of tinfoil, she snuck into 6-07 while Desco was out and began to cover the walls, floor, and ceiling of the room. It takes awhile but when she finishes, she takes the needed picture to bring back to the Aramid Room and waits for Desco to return to see if it worked. She even hides behind some furniture and turns on her thermoptic camouflage so she can jump out and yell "Surprise!" like it's a party!

She then floats over to the center of the room, near her Skull Throne, and just sort spins slowly in place, looking over every corner of her room. One of her primary tentacles begins to drool slightly as she does so.

"Surprise Desco!! What do you think?"
no subject
"Don't jump out at Desco like that!"
There's a slight pause as Desco actually looks at you instead of just reacting.
"Aaa! You're that idiot!"
no subject
She gestures around the room.
"So? So? One of those people in that red room place asked that I cover a room in tinfoil to block out telepathy! And I thought you would be the best one of my friends to help with this! Do you think it worked?"
no subject
A slight pause as she looks at all the tinfoil.
"...Desco will grudgingly admit she is pleased with this, even if your thought patterns are bizarre."
no subject
...Are we team-mates then?"
no subject
"Your memories drove Desco insane! That's not friendly at all!"

"How should Desco know? Desco doesn't even understand why you put everyone else over yourself!"
And now she's pouting.
"You have to be crazy in order to think like that!"

Plus, they all have ghosts, while I'm a synthetic construct. At worst, they can rebuild and replace me.
I mean, it's probably different here, since I'm not a tank, but back from where I'm from, what I said is the general idea."

"...Desco spent a while thinking she was you and she still can't understand how you think."

I mean, when me and the other Tachikoma sync our memories, it's really just to make sure we all have the same pool of experience and information to share from. We're just so similar that it isn't hard for us see the other's point of view in their situation.
But I guess you can see it as like having access to the memories of a fire-fighter without having actually fought any fires."
