[OPEN] What is this place?
Who: Hinata, Otonashi, Noda, and YOU
Where: Virgo - Grocery store
Summary: Noda and Hinata are trying to fend for themselves for once and buy food to cook, but do either of them know how? Meanwhile, Otonashi is on the other side of the store, blissfully unaware that his friends have caught up with him for the first time since the Taurus incident.
Warnings: Excessive levels of idiocy and moronic behavior
Note: Choose your own adventure! Don't see a prompt you like, or want more than one of them? Just say so! Responses will come from Hinata (
frequent_flyer), Otonashi (
trainwrecking), Noda (
halberdaxe), or a combination of the three. Specify who you'd like in the subject line!
Hinata could be found mulling over his options in the pre-paid card aisle. Which MMO did he want to buy credits for? Decisions, decisions... In one hand was a shopping basket containing beef jerky, protein shake mix, a variety of energy drinks, and a copious amount of chips and on-sale cookies.
Was he binging on snacks? Or did he eat like this all the time? From the looks of things, one could easily assume that he probably couldn't cook, if all the pre-packaged crap he had was any indication.
Noda on the other hand, was in the deli section of the supermarket, perusing the various meat products therein. A small sign sat on top of the deli counter, written in polite cursive: Be back in 10 minutes!
Noda, however, wanted to be helped now. Whatever poor soul happened upon him would find the purple-haired boy smashing his head into the glass display case in the hopes of breaking it to get access to the meaty treasures.
Otonashi looks a little worse for the wear, but happens to be out today for a case of canned coffee for those late-night sessions of reading (no, not that kind). He's harmless for the most part, but he looks exhausted and may not see you... before he bumps into you.
Literally.
He won't be around the store for long, and can also be found outside on a bench not far from the store... sleeping. Caffeine only gets a person so far, you know. If you wanted to be a real jerk, you could make off with some nice coffee, spices, or a messenger bag...

So naturally it's the one Otonashi borrowed about cloning. Weirdo kid.
Still, it might actually be interesting to see if Hinoto-Ri has come any further on the subject than his world, so he settles down on a corner of the bench and begins flipping through it.]

Noda throws tampons into Otonashi's basket
But just waiting around was boring. No sooner he was wandering around the store, and finds Otonashi in one of the aisles. A smirk appears on Noda's face as he walks up, casually tossing a package of tampons into Otonashi's basket.]
scented tampons
No such luck.]
Eh-- I-I don't need these..! [Don't make him tell you off, Noda. He is not in the mood for your crap.]

Are you sure? I was certain you'd need these since you look so feminine!

Noda catch-all: breaking glass for meat

[Assuming this guy... doesn't already have any.]

That hit would not damage me.
[That's not the point, Noda...]
no subject
[He's not... entirely convinced it hasn't had an affect as it is...]
Getting arrested for stealing from a store on top of property damages is serious, too. Just because you're a Visitor doesn't mean they won't lock you up.
Then you'll have to wait even longer to get what you want! I don't think it's worth it, really.
[Also because he doesn't want to have to walk all the way to a different grocery store because this one goes into lockdown due to an idiot breaking some glass.]

It's almost like I never left home.
[With this observations, a girl in a black and white costume drifts up to the purple-haired boy.]
Hey, so, some of us don't want glass shards in our meat, so if maybe you could try and stop being totally crazy before you actually break the glass, that'd be pretty awesome.
no subject
Hmph, that is your problem then.

[Phantom Girl sticks a gloved hand in between his head and the case the next time he rears back to try and strike.]
I like to fix my problems proactively.

Was this seriously happening??
She looked around. No one else was around!
LOOK SOMEBODY THERE'S A CRIME BEING COMMITTED!! ]
no subject
Noda turns to look at the girl, who's frozen in a weird pose. What a weird girl.]
Hmph.
[And he goes back to getting the ingredients Hinata told him to get.]
no subject
She's visibly trembling at this point, looking all around as if she's the one breaking the law! ]

[Hi guess who randomly showed up behind you dude.]
no subject
Really..? [He reaches for one of the cards, hesitating between the 1000 credit one and the 5000 credit one. He eventually settles on the 5000, as it comes with a limited edition armor set, so why not? He tucks it into his basket between the protein shake mix and the chips, apparently conflicted on whether or not he wants to eat healthy, turning to Hizumi.]
All done at the arcade for today?

trollingmessing around with her idiot brigade which is why she's out and about wearing a bikini. Of course, it's not like she's dumb enough not to wear sandals on the concrete...Because wow, Yuri's a nice person. JUST DON'T GO HITTING ON HER or doing something stupid-- oh wait. ]
couldn't tell you what the post order is, we'll just roll with it
Oh, and Noda has the added bonus of a shiny new job to pay for damages. He sees Yuri, but he doesn't exactly feel outgoing and talkative. THIS WAS SUPPOSED TO BE UNEVENTFUL.]
Ah... Yuri, it's not that hot out, is it..? [For the bikini, anyway. Beyond that, he looks ready to just crawl back into a hole away from this mess.]
post order doesn't exist; all the threadjacking all the time!!
[ She's already pouting, giving him puppy dog eyes as she folds her arms over her chest, looking quite dejected. ]
okay sorry for the mess then! we all like it messy here
You... must be going to the pool..? [He's trying very hard here to avoid anything disastrous from happening.] I was just going to... you know, go. [See Otonashi. See Otonashi run. Run, Otonashi, run. If only he could tear away that easily.]
