Who: Desco, Otoha, and Johnny
Where: Pisces and Libra
Summary: House hunting is a family affair
Warnings: The usual warnings that come with these three.Gratuitous amounts of Gay/Gay-chicken, Desco is her own warning
The tiny apartment allotted to them was barely big enough for one human and a room-crashing vampire, add a little demon-girl to the mix and things had gotten crowded.
Johnny counted up the vast store of money he'd stashed away from when he'd been hiding his career choices from Otoha and, combined with whatever extra he had saved up from not needing to buy clothes or food, he'd been pleased to find they could afford a good selection of houses.
He spent a few more days looking around at night and exploring the ones he thought looked promising until he finally narrowed it down to four. It was these four, two in each district, that he intended to offer up to his make-shift family one early evening.
Umbrella to keep the last rays of sunlight in hand, Johnny led them to the first option, an overly-large, multi-story, house that was exceedingly extravagant. But nothing was too nice in the vampire's opinion. He grinned at them like a child showing off the art piece he'd made in class and waved his hand towards the building. "Well? What do you think?"

Or at least somewhere he could climb up and look down at the city. He'd grown to like the view from above, and if he couldn't get it at home he'd have to get it from climbing other buildings.
"A yard might be kind of nice, though." He was thinking of getting Desco a pet anyway... as long as he could be sure she wasn't going to eat it.

Also Uncle Johnny's promise of all the skulls she wants makes her perk right up, her tail swishing happily and her tentacles snapping in excitement.
"Oh! And once we get the fence, Desco will go slaughter more dragons for their skulls!"

The next house he leads them too is indeed smaller. But only just. It does have an attic, though and a decent open yard. "Two stories, plus an attic, and it's got one extra bedroom than we need, just in case, and plenty of space for you two to do what you want. There's a room where you could put all of your skulls or whatever other trophies you'd like, and there's space for you to train, Otoha~ I know you like to keep that lovely physique of yours in top shape."
He was definitely presenting this in a 'look what I found, isn't it awesome??' way.

He doesn't say anything, just nods, squeezing Johnny's arm a little.

"This one! Desco likes this one!"
Eyes shining, she rolls off of Johnny's shoulders and onto Otoha's, giving him a hug as well.
"Desco's never lived in an actual house before! She's so excited!"

"Perfect~! I'll make the arrangements, then and we can move in as soon as we like! We should even have enough spare money left to get some decorations. Aaah! And I'll start work on that fence of yours, Desco, you'll have it before the week is out!"

"Just as long as you keep the colors in my room less... loud. I've seen your decorating. You know I don't like anything fancy."
Nope. He still hadn't forgiven Johnny for that one.
"Heh. I'm not exactly the best with fixing up houses or whatever. I'll do what I can though."
