S'il vous plaît nous divertir
Who: Those involved in the kidnapping plot
Where: The Underground
Summary: Mingle log for those who signed up to be kidnapped
Warnings: PG-13 to be safe
Wherever you might have been last night... well, you certainly aren't there anymore.
Upon waking up, you'll find yourself in completely different clothes than you were in before, consisting of an elegant toga and a crown made of flowers of various sizes, types, and colors; surprisingly, whatever equipment you usually use in fights is still on you as well. Many other Visitors are awake or rousing around you, and you all seem to be contained within a rather large cage. The design is very reminiscent of Greek architecture, decorated with flowers, colorful tapestries, and embedded with seashells in the floor and walls. Any powers you may have to easily get you out of here... well, they don't seem to be working as they should be right now. Beyond the cage you can make out two demonic looking figures standing guard by a door leading outside of the room, but they don't seem particularly interested in what's going on in the cage.
Whether you like it or not, there doesn't seem to be any escape for the time being. Perhaps you should talk to your fellow captives and see if anyone has any idea of what's going on, or maybe yell out at the guards? Come to think of it, there seems to be two people mingling in the cage that you may not recognize as Visitors such as yourself...
[OOC Note: It's time to mingle! See what your fellow captives are up to (as well as some NPCs later). Will there be a way to escape? Will you be rescued? Or will you have to endure whatever is waiting for you? Try not to panic!]

Sam Erstwhile - OPEN
[Sam stands there, somehow still looking messy and haggard despite the new attire. He looks around at the surroundings, blinking in confusion.]
What in the-?
[What is going on? Sam's mind is trying to catch up, trying to figure out what is going on...but wait, what the heck is on his head? He takes he crown off, staring at it with a very dubious look.]
Either I'm dreaming I'm some Greek god now, or something is going incredibly wrong, here...

[But it's best to keep nice and pleasant for now until he figures out what is going on. So Sam turns to Shadow and frowns sadly, shaking his head.] Guess you're stuck here too, huh? There are a lot of us...
no subject
[ shadow is the kindest most nicest person sam knows dont deny it ]
no subject
[Sam sighs, picking a petal out of his messy hair and letting it drop to the ground.]
I'm guessing you haven't got a clue as to why we are here either, huh?
no subject
Doesn't seem like anyone does.
no subject
[He lets out an exasperated sigh, looking at the top of a cage as he tries to see if there's a latch or lock up there or anything he can use, really.]
I'm really sick and tired of this...when will this place just leave me alone?
no subject
no subject
[No, he's really interested, Shadow, tell him. He looks at the other expectantly.]
I mean, we could at least try, you know?

['Sup Sam it's your most favorite aw-man-I've-been-whisked-away-AGAIN buddy!
Who is also totally rocking that flower crown, don't even kid yourself.]
no subject
[He sighs, rubbing his forehead.]
Ugh. Yeah, looks like it...by this point, I think I'm starting to get used to it...
no subject
That's not something to be proud of, you know.
no subject
I know! I know. It's just...in this place, who could expect anything normal to actually happen?
no subject
The festivals were pretty normal, if you don't count the demons that joined in.
no subject
Yeah, see, exactly, you just proved my point. This place doesn't work at all logically. Next we're all going to turn green and grow five arms and I'm telling you, I wouldn't be surprised any more.
no subject
Five arms-- Isn't that a little much? Even when peoples' appearances changed, it was always temporarily.
no subject
Hey, I'm not the one who decides the crazy stuff that happens. Don't look at me.

[The girl gave a sarcastic sigh, gesturing to her own wreath.]
It gives us a pretty good chance of nobody throwing up before the main event starts.
no subject
At least it would attract all the flies, if that's what they were aiming for if they used those.
But yeah...it's a little bit weird, don't you think? The crowns, the togas. Like we're going to go on stage and do some Roman play all of a sudden...
no subject
[She plopped down to sit cross-legged next to Sam, only minding how her toga fell as an after-thought.]
It's probably a Roman demon. Or Greek. I can't really remember what the difference between them was, but they both do the plant crown thing I'm pretty sure.
no subject
Oh. The Lord of Flies, right? Yeah, no, if it was a demon, it wouldn't be him.
I know that they do laurels in Greek and Roman culture...never really thought they did flowers, I thought they were into leaves and such. But eh, what do I know.
no subject
[The girl seemed to be very seriously considering who their culprit could be.]
Demeter and Persephone don't strike me as the sort to have battles to the death...
no subject
Nah, nah, Demeter and Persephone were more or less pacifistic goddesses, if I remember correctly. I mean, they could get mad, but they didn't do battles to the death, you're right.
Maybe Ares? He's the god of war. Fighting and bloodshed and all that.
no subject
[Shui looks pleased at the thought, but gave a snort a moment later.]
But, flower crowns? I would have expected barbed wire instead.
no subject
[He takes his off and gives it a frown- he's read enough meanings on flowers to know exactly what asphodels signify.]
I don't really see the point in them, anyways.
