Wherever you might have been last night... well, you certainly aren't there anymore.

Upon waking up, you'll find yourself in completely different clothes than you were in before, consisting of an elegant toga and a crown made of flowers of various sizes, types, and colors; surprisingly, whatever equipment you usually use in fights is still on you as well. Many other Visitors are awake or rousing around you, and you all seem to be contained within a rather large cage. The design is very reminiscent of Greek architecture, decorated with flowers, colorful tapestries, and embedded with seashells in the floor and walls. Any powers you may have to easily get you out of here... well, they don't seem to be working as they should be right now. Beyond the cage you can make out two demonic looking figures standing guard by a door leading outside of the room, but they don't seem particularly interested in what's going on in the cage.

Whether you like it or not, there doesn't seem to be any escape for the time being. Perhaps you should talk to your fellow captives and see if anyone has any idea of what's going on, or maybe yell out at the guards? Come to think of it, there seems to be two people mingling in the cage that you may not recognize as Visitors such as yourself...

[OOC Note: It's time to mingle! See what your fellow captives are up to (as well as some NPCs later). Will there be a way to escape? Will you be rescued? Or will you have to endure whatever is waiting for you? Try not to panic!]

[DeDeDe is none too happy about being kidnapped and waking up in some strange jail cell, but at least the place is well-appointed. It softens the blow just a little. And the choice of attire is definitely hilarious.]

Heh... I look like my Persona wearin' all this.

[Well, first things first. Let's make sure the hammer's in good working condition. He picks it up, bouncing it up and down in his hand a few times to test the grip and the weight, before nodding and slinging it over his shoulder.]

Must be pretty damn confident too, lettin' us keep our weapons.

[Johnny slid up next to his boss, arms crossed and both his sword and his whip at his hip. Usually, they weren't on him, so it was a little strange, but whatever.]

They're underestimating us. Or perhaps overestimating whatever they intend to throw at us.

[Zael's been walking around, going over their new case, all the while feeling rather absurd in his current state of dress. It makes him glad Yurick isn't here. He can't imagine him with a crown of flowers attached. The mage would sooner see them burned.

He's taken the his own off—didn't even stop to think twice about it—though there's not much he can do about the toga. But he still has his sword... and his bow of all things in its usual case. He'll make do. He stops when his eyes wander over to DeDeDe's form, stares at him a few momentary seconds until he can become used to what exactly he's looking at, before his ears pick up other abductee's comments. Everyone Zael's seen so far had appeared to be human. He hadn't expected things to deviate from the pattern, but he guesses even demons weren't spared, though Zael hadn't known demons could use Persona like they could.

Still, plenty of demons he had stopped to talk to in Hinoto-Ri had been friendly.]

Your guess is as good as mine.

But from my experience, if they let us have our weapons, they're expecting us to fight.

Sam Erstwhile - OPEN

[This is...unexpected.]

[Sam stands there, somehow still looking messy and haggard despite the new attire. He looks around at the surroundings, blinking in confusion.]

What in the-?

[What is going on? Sam's mind is trying to catch up, trying to figure out what is going on...but wait, what the heck is on his head? He takes he crown off, staring at it with a very dubious look.]

Either I'm dreaming I'm some Greek god now, or something is going incredibly wrong, here...

[ Shadow takes one look at Sam and sighs deeply. If there's trouble, he better not expect Shadow to come to his rescue. ]

[One of people in the cage didn't seem very concerned about being there. In fact, with her bow and quiver and rather stern-looking face, she could be mistaken for a certain Greek deity herself. Actually, she seemed to be more preoccupied with her flower crown, taking it off and examining it.

...Lilies and star flowers. With an annoyed click of the tongue, she tossed the crown aside as if it were yesterday's garbage, finally turning her attention to everyone else in the cage and looking...concerned.

She muttered something to herself, but you probably couldn't hear it unless you were close, in which case it was something along the lines of something being 'worse than she thought.' Whatever that meant...]

[Well, well, well. This is a face he doesn't recognize, and that bow and quiver...she definitely looks like someone who shouldn't be crossed, that's for sure.]

[The concern in her face intrigues him, though, and Sam wanders up, glancing down at the weapon in her hand before looking back at her:]

Erm. Um...do you have any idea where we are? Do you know how you got here?

Hizumi Mizushiro - OPEN

[So we're back to waking up in an unfamiliar place, are we?

Hizumi spares his change of clothes only a cursory glance before they settle on his weapons; he's still got his belt and holster, and tucked inside are his revolver and sword. A quick check reveals that his revolver is still fully loaded, and he even has his extra ammunition to reload it once more.

He gets to his feet, unhurried, his eyes carefully taking in the people who are around him. He recognizes most due to keeping an eye on the network, and the ones he does not look too much like Visitors not to be. But there are definitely a few he can't place, so this might not be contained to just the Visitors themselves.

Next, their surroundings. He doesn't even try the cage, assuming that if the guards aren't interested, they probably have a pretty good reason not to be. They've got plenty of people here, and if they broke out it could spell disaster for those demons - but if they were confident enough in their cage that they couldn't even bother paying close attention, Hizumi's not confident enough to bother messing with the cage. Even looking at the architecture of the room, there's simply too little in the way of clues to identify where, exactly, they are. No, even if they managed to break out from here using everyone's combined strength, there's no guarantee they would be able to make it out of the place entirely. It just isn't worth the risk.

So for now, he waits. He weaves his way through the people, sometimes offering a very small hint of a smile and a wave at anyone he knows. Like he's not at all worried about the fact that they've been whisked off (again) to some unknown place.]

[One of the odder variables was up and walking a large square around the cage, almost pacing while hugging her two stuffed bears to her chest. Every so often, she'd try and dig through her toga's folds to secure something, and on occasion peek down at what was probably a phone screen, given the glow it gave off. Probably trying to find a signal, as hopeless as that seemed.

Eventually she wandered around enough to notice how collected some of the others were, and awkwardly approached Hizumi with a bashful face.]

Um, I'm sorry if I'm...intruding? On your little cell vacation, but you look rather...

[She gestured as much as she could with two stuffed animals in her arms.]

...collected. I'm kinda envious.

Phantom Girl - Open

Hah. Kidnapping me. That's cute.

[Phantom Girl rolls her eyes as she examines the get-up she's been forced into. Thinking too much about the actions that would have been necessary to remove her practically skin-tight costume from her body will lead to undesirable places, so she doesn't. The teenaged superhero claps her hands together once and glances up at the ceiling.]

Alright, sit tight, folks. We're getting out of this dump if I have to fly you out of here myself.

[Without any hesitation, she darts vertically upwards towards the ceiling and -- ]

OW!

[...falls back down to the ground in a heap.]

Hate. Everything. .................I think I have a concussion.

[Well, that got the woman's attention. With a stunt like that, it was no wonder she came rushing over.]

Goodness, are you alright!? [Did she need a healing spell or...?]

Shadow the Hedgehog - OPEN

Given that he usually doesn't wear any, the clothes are the first thing that grabs his attention. He pulls them off without a second thought, then takes a look at his surroundings.

Where am I?

A sort of prison, judging by the guards. Why was he brought here? No matter. He certainly isn't going to stay here. He pulls out a large green gem and calls out, "Chaos Control!"

Nothing happens. His already present scowl deepens. He looks at the guards again, contemplating the wisdom of asking them where he is. Doesn't seem like it would bear fruit, and if he can't use Chaos Control to warp out of here, there was only one way to escape...

He sets about trying to damage the bars. Curling into a ball and jumping, spinning against them, kicking them, balling his fists near the bars while a strange purple aura surrounds them, throwing bolts of energy at them--

"Nothing is working!"

He growls, turning to face the inside of the cage. If he can't break out of here, then there's certainly no hope that anyone else in this cage can get out. But why are they here? The guards probably won't tell him anything, so his best recourse is to approach a random person and ask, "Do you remember anything?"

She gave the disgruntled-looking hedgehog a gentle but reassuring smile.

"I'm sorry to say that I don't. It seems remembering how we arrived here would be too much of an inconvenience for our captors."

???-Open (literally a teenager)

Ugh, I bet they're not even listening.

[Sitting with her face and palms pressed against the bars was one of the two non-Visitors, staring despondently out at the guards stationed by the cell. Despite her toga situation, she was sitting cross-legged and slumped, as if she were exhausted. Oddly, the only equipment she seemed to have been allowed were a pair of oversized teddy bears. One of the stuffed animals was wearing the girl's flower crown.]

Listen, guys! You got. The wrong. Girl! Can you at least pretend to hear me...?

Do you want those thugs at the door to pay you attention? They don't seem like the friendly sort.

Eh..? I don't remember going to— [... Bed...]—

What is all this?! [When he went to bed is the least of his worries once it hits him that this is a prison cell.]

Someone dressed me like Panacea...? Is this some kind of cruel joke? This isn't cute...

[Most likely not. There are several faces here, some of them familiar and some of them foreign, but they're all dressed similarly. It's too organized, and yet not at all. A quick check over himself reveals a handgun and a small pocket knife.

I have weapons..?]

O...kay... I wonder if we have network access..?

[The girl with the teddybears was the first to speak up, pouting as she quickly tucked her cellphone in to the folds of her toga.]

[Such bad language. To be honest, she didn't really care. She didn't have an issue with the toga...or even the flowers, but the fact they were taken away and she had no recollection of being here before made her extremely worried.]

[The pale girl sitting next to her smiles pleasantly.]

A LITTLE LATER-Private Commlink with Q

[So the woman who was talking to a few people eventually gravitated toward the very back of the cell. She stood absolutely still and quiet and, after a minute, it became obvious why she'd want to move out of sight of the guards. There was a glow and a humanoid with colorful rainbow wings instead of arms sprung from her and proceeded to place its hands against her ears. Outwardly, there was no other action, but the Persona remained active, so something was happening. In reality, she was making a mental phone call. insert skype ringtone here]

Excuse me, is this Q?

[Well at first she won't quite get a connection, as Q appears to be busy muttering things and preparing a few weapons. It's only after he's finish calibrating a laser gun that he finally notices he's being 'called'. And it sounds like no one who he knows.]

Who is this? How do you know this number.

Zelgius- OPEN

[The moment Zelgius awoke, he felt that he was in very different clothes from what he went to sleep in. He jolted awake and put one hand over a spot on his back. Ah, good, the brand was still covered. That was one less thing to worry about... which was a drop in the bucket, really. This was definitely not a familiar place, and these were certainly not familiar people. He eyed the people around him warily, keeping his sword close by in case someone tried to pull anything. He didn't question the presence of his sword; it was just something he was thankful for. There were some things he needed to get straightened out, however.]

Were the rest of you kidnapped, or are you my foes?

[D waves a hand, gesturing at Zelgius' sword.]

[Ludwig woke up and nearly did a combat roll to sit up. Where the hell was he, and why was he dressed like this? It seemed that some of his fellow Visitors were in similar positions, and his pistol was nearby, which eased his mind slightly... but only slightly. His whole body tensed up, ready to spring up into action if danger reared its head. He had one thing to say about all this:]

I think someone owes us an explanation.

[She is getting so sick of having to re-adjust this stupid toga...!]

[A familiar (and probably startling) groan is heard nearby, and one toga-clad teen adorned with a familiar ballcap climbs to his knees, adjusting his hat and getting a look at himself.]

Y'know, I was hoping I'd be conscious for my first toga party...not tired and unconscious...

This isn't right at all.

[There's a guy smoothing a pompadour with a weird looking belt pinning his toga to his waist.]

Not sure I'd like a party in a cramped caged like this, though. Maybe JK would...

[Kidnapped. Again. And this time Shizuo and Celty aren't here to rescue her. For all that she wanted to be a hero, to save people, it seems like she's the one who always needs saving. And she's confused about the costumes. And why she has her stun gun. If you kidnap someone aren't you supposed to take their weapons away?

For now she's sitting in a corner, watching the other captives, and trying her best not to look scared.]

[Nik will come over to check on her. His face is as serious as ever, maybe even more so. It's made worse by the cuts and bruises he's sporting, from trying to fight off his kidnappers.] Akane, are you alright? Are you hurt at all?

So, does anybody have any guesses as to why we still have our weapons? Because if they're going to change our clothes, then they should have taken any possible way out. And not put us together.

[ Because violence is considered a way out. That is, if they can find out who is the perpetrator behind it all. She will fold her arms over her chest before speaking up again, looking confident. She's been kept in a cell similar to this before, in the afterlife. It wasn't for long, but she never stopped thinking.

And even though this is different, she knows she has to help out. ]

Anyway, I guess if we're going to be together like this, we should introduce ourselves and show our weapons. If you hide anything, I'll beat your ass right here, right now.

[ And she's totally serious about it, too. ]

[Off to the side, the Citizen girl with the stuffed animals raised her one free arm, like she was in class.]

I have my teddy bears! ...And don't laugh, they count.

[Nik would be more put out by the ridiculous outfits if he wasn't so pissed about being kidnapped. But at the moment, he's his usual stoic self, methodically looking over the handgun that was left for him. Looks like it's in order and fully loaded. He's rather scuffed and bruised - they had a hell of a time capturing him, that's for sure.]

We shouldn't be wasting time. We need to fiud a way out of here now.

[He jerks a thumb back toward Phantom Girl, who had just minutes earlier tried and failed to phase out of the ceiling.]

[The change of clothes didn't quite bother Blues, since well. It's not like they removed his armor to do this, but being somewhere that he hadn't planned on being is certainly earning a frown from the robot.

In fact his attention seems to be more on the guards outside of the cage then any of his fellow cage mates.

More or less because Blues recognizes some of them and he's trying to not be noticed by them. So, leaning against the bars is a kid with ridiculous hair glaring out and not saying a damned word.]

[One of the guards eventually takes notice, looking over his shoulder to talk to Blues while the other watches silently.]

Oi, hey! Where are we!? What's going on!? Who did this!?

[Yeah, Gen is not exactly the type to keep quiet... also, he's a new guy still, so he's running around in a toga, which is held in place at the waist by a rather odd belt buckle. He's looking around, clearly not exactly happy about the kidnapping bit. He's probably trying to rattle the bars a bit.]

[One of the guards shoos Gentarou away from the bars, while the other crosses his arms in a huff.]

[Taro is panicking. He doesn't like small places that aren't under his control. It's bad enough that he's totally dropped his illusion of being a human, and is now trying to transform into something small enough to slip through the bars.]

Daichi Shijima - Open

Augh...

[Daichi never was good at waking up in the morning-- and even less so after being forcibly knocked unconcious. He was sore all over, his head felt kind of banged up... and yet that wasn't even the part that concerned him the most.

The part that concerned him the most was that he was pretty sure he was starting to get used to this kind of thing. Great.

Nevertheless, he mad the effort to sit up, dead-eyeing the rest of the cage's inhabitants as if he were waking up to go to school.

Glanced around a few times.... glanced at what he was wearing... glanced at the setting...

And then went from zero to flipping his shit in about two seconds. There goes his blood pressure!]

W-W-What the hell?! What's going on?! What kind of sick joke is this!?! Please tell me I'm still dreaming...

[Whoah, somebody is definitely freaking out over there. Time to stop him before he blows out his eardrums.]

H-hey! Calm down! We've been kidnapped to fight in some tournament, it isn't a dream...god, though I wish it was.

Elaine- Insult Swordfighting and YOU! (Open)

Elaine rapped the hilt of her sword against the cage bars. With the information about this fighting ring she had garnered and the message from Q, she had the beginnings of a scheme.

"Everyone, may I have your attention!" She announced. "It appears that we have been brought here tonight to provide entertainment in the form of Persona duels! How exciting, yes? Of course, we cannot let our gracious hosts down, can we? Therefore, I have a proposition that is sure to make this a lasting evening to remember, where everyone can have fun and stay safe!"

With the demons guarding the door, she didn't want to blurt out her intentions completely. Hopefully everyone got her drift: if we stall long enough we can get out of here.

"Where I come from, sword-fighting is a highly regarded activity, but everyone knows that a sharp wit is just as important as a sharp sword. And so, we indulge in the sport of insult sword-fighting, where you cut down your opponent not with your weapon, but with your words! A good insult sword fight involves quick-thinking and volleying of clever taunts and comebacks back and forth until one participant outsmarts the other. Now, I know that not everyone here has a sword, and our hosts are expecting Persona duels, but I believe the basic tenets can be easily applied even here. If anyone would like a quick lesson, please raise your hand!"

I thiiiink it would be easiest to handwave the 'lessons' beyond the basic rules and just pretend that Elaine taught your character a couple of choice insults and comebacks.))

[ Captivity makes Yukko very nervous. She's pretty much out of the loop as far as town events are concerned. Nano is the one who is in the know, not her! It's probably why Yukko was kidnapped instead of her! Yukko feels incredibly dumb. She could not remember when they took her! Did they come while she was sleeping? Did something happen to Nano?

Yukko feels really bad that she didn't apologize for using Nano's toe! Even worse, her mp3 player died the second she woke up here! (They let her keep it for... Some reason.) So much for passing the time! It would have been good to distract herself!

Yukko is a bundle of nerves. She keeps mostly to herself, with her eyes darting right and left. Her hands began to scratch at her neck, most likely caused by her fear...

... Or maybe it's the toga. Gosh her toga'sstarting to chafe. And it was itching too! Yukko cannot not stop herself from scratching at her shoulders. 'Elegant' is a word that could never apply to Yukko. She feels really weird wearing it, because it's not something she would ever wear, and it's twice as uncomfortable. Eventually she can't take it. She grumbles at no one in particular. ]

Ugh! Why the heck do we have to wear these stupid things? [ Tears start to form in her eyes. ] Why couldn't they just let us keep our normal clothes? I hate this!
