S'il vous plaît nous divertir
Who: Those involved in the kidnapping plot
Where: The Underground
Summary: Mingle log for those who signed up to be kidnapped
Warnings: PG-13 to be safe
Wherever you might have been last night... well, you certainly aren't there anymore.
Upon waking up, you'll find yourself in completely different clothes than you were in before, consisting of an elegant toga and a crown made of flowers of various sizes, types, and colors; surprisingly, whatever equipment you usually use in fights is still on you as well. Many other Visitors are awake or rousing around you, and you all seem to be contained within a rather large cage. The design is very reminiscent of Greek architecture, decorated with flowers, colorful tapestries, and embedded with seashells in the floor and walls. Any powers you may have to easily get you out of here... well, they don't seem to be working as they should be right now. Beyond the cage you can make out two demonic looking figures standing guard by a door leading outside of the room, but they don't seem particularly interested in what's going on in the cage.
Whether you like it or not, there doesn't seem to be any escape for the time being. Perhaps you should talk to your fellow captives and see if anyone has any idea of what's going on, or maybe yell out at the guards? Come to think of it, there seems to be two people mingling in the cage that you may not recognize as Visitors such as yourself...
[OOC Note: It's time to mingle! See what your fellow captives are up to (as well as some NPCs later). Will there be a way to escape? Will you be rescued? Or will you have to endure whatever is waiting for you? Try not to panic!]

Ahh, hello. I'm sorry to say I don't know exactly, but I can guess that we're underground. ...As for how we arrived here...
[This next part sure was going to be embarrassing, wow]
Hah...[The woman looks down in mild embarrassment.] I'm sorry. I tried to be prepared, but my memory's a bit fuzzy. Yours is as well, I assume?
no subject
[Unless they built a cage when he was gone, but that's not likely. He sees her embarrassment, taking mental note of that before holding up his hands and shaking his head, as if in apology.]
No, no, don't apologize! I mean, I was just asking...and, um. Yeah, no, I don't remember anything either. I guess we were all kidnapped by someone. But by who, I don't know...
no subject
Demons.
[She said as if she were talking about the weather or something. You know, no big deal.]
no subject
Ergh, yeah...maybe. I mean, those ones over there look pretty mean. But why now? What's going that needs all of us here in one place dressed up like we're going to be doing a Julius Caesar assassination reenactment?

What does that have to do with this, though?

Normally the city forces them to keep it amongst themselves and not get any of the city's residents involved. However, demons will make sure to any loopholes they're presented.
[Did Sam see this particular loophole yet?]

[Oh, that isn't good at all. His mouth drops slightly, and he glances quickly back at the demons standing near the door before turning back to her, his expression suddenly nervous.]
You can't be telling me that they want us to fight?!
no subject
[Despite her rather casual-sounding statements, her brow furrowed and she almost looked to be on the borderline between angry and disgusted. However, she relaxed when confronted with Sam's worried look.]
Don't worry. I'm here to make sure it doesn't come to that.
no subject
[He visibly shudders, looking down as if in an attempt to make himself not freak out. When she speaks again, he looks up, something like a glimmer of hope glinting in his dark eyes.]
R-really? You're here to save us, then! Oh, that's...that's good! How will you do that?
no subject
It depends on who I manage to contact. If I'm successful, you should be able to receive outside help.
no subject
[Hey, if this lady could help, then he wouldn't have to do any work at all. That's great. He puts his voice tone lower as well, to match hers:]
Really? That's good, that really is...how are you going to contact anyone though? I've seen some of the other people here can't even use their cell phones...
no subject
Oh, you'll see. I'll just need some time to myself. I doubt the tournament will happen so soon after we've awakened.
no subject
Ah, yeah. I mean, they'd need to explain to it to us, first. I mean, I hardly think they would just throw us in the fray without saying anything, right? So you have time.

[If you die, lady, it's your own fault, but hey, at least it might show him a way out of this mess. But he seems relieved all the same.]
Do you have a name, Ms...?
no subject
[It'ssototallynotherrealnameshhh]
And yours...?
no subject
Ah, I'm Sam. I hope you can get us out of this...we're all counting on you.
