Pandemonium

Who: Everyone [Open]
Where: The Entire City | 18th from 1am to 11pm
Summary: Complete and utter chaos
Warnings: Despair
Music: Break my Soul

Chaos.

There was no other way to describe the mood in the city, the streets filled with civilians attempting to huddle to the closest safe havens. The demons who had walked a fragile alliance with humans, previously content to stay underground due to the fact that they knew they would be pushed back, suddenly filled the streets - attacking on sight when they saw humans showing themselves to be weak. The darker monsters among them relished in this new opportunity, ignoring humanity's pleas and destroying what little remained of the city's peaceful sanity.

Everywhere, the city was a tumultuous mixture of those still stuck in their childish forms, with some back to their older selves trying to fix what they could and reestablish electrical power and barriers. Some demons, siding with humanity despite everything, aided them by keeping the others at bay. Personas were out in full force, swarming the skies and pushing back invaders. But it simply wasn't enough.

Without a network and all of the news outlets completely silent, everyone was left to fend for themselves... and it wasn't pretty.

The Visitors had to act as fast as they could, still in their child forms or not. There was so much to do, and without any directives. No intel sent to their heads explaining the situation. The Wise Men facility was silent. No one seemed to be answering...

[OOC - Here is the City Page. Your character can be anywhere and either look for clues, help people out or simply try to defend themselves. Remember, there is no electrical power right now, and most of the areas of the city are dark.

It's up to you to decide what to do. Shall you go save civilians, reestablish power, go to the MAGI headquarters? The choices will affect the game. There is a planning post in the OOC comm, create teams, decide what to do and help save Hinoto-Ri by following this link. Just know that, tonight, someone you might have thought an ally will declare themselves a foe.

Good luck.]

[Dammit, not again! ...For a given value of "again," anyway. Germany never particularly minded having to fight; it was something that he had spent a good portion of his history doing. Now (now meaning "for over a year") he had a "new" power with which to do one of the things he did best. He was unleashing Siegfried and Vulcan left and right as the situation dictated and doing a decent job of cutting down demons... but there was only so much he could do alone.]

[Erk is over here with Mimir floating above him as usual, an outsized head patterned in blue and gold, with a book in his hand and a staff under one arm. At the moment, he's been treed by a two-headed dog creature, but doesn't look too worried just yet.]

Mimir, give me a Weakness Scan, please.

[Erk's finding that new ability quite useful. Especially when Mimir reports back "ice". Having a Persona not oriented toward combat can be a hindrance sometimes, but Erk can compensate on his own. He flicks open his book -]

Fimbulvetr!

[- and blasts the Orthrus with a storm of icy wind.]

[The sudden rush of cold alerts Germany to the presence of ice magic somewhere. When he spots Erk and the Orthrus, he quickly calls out Siegfried to do a Power Slash on the beast. He simply assumes that the magic came from the Persona, but he can check later.]

[Being a mage all on his own is nice. Especially since it means he can save Mimir's power for the strategic sorts of options he doesn't get himself.

The help surprises him, but it's certainly nice. He doesn't want to use too many Fimbulvetr casts too quickly, so he directs Mimir to throw an Aqua down as well.

The Orthrus is not pleased to be ganged up on. It still can't reach Erk with its teeth, so instead it decides to be nasty and throw out a Fire Dance, hurling flames in all directions with wild abandon. This may force Erk to abandon his tree, because it's starting to catch fire now.]

[Drat! Of all the times to be left without water skills... Germany sends out Siegfried to slash the Orthrus once more, hoping to draw its attention.]

Quick! Get out of there! Just jump!
