He raises an eyebrow - he feels a bit similar to Belial. Curiously, he approaches Yurick. His own energy is hateful and bitter, a tightly coiled ball of misery wrapped around a human soul.

Given that the temple belonged to Palutena, she probably wasn't too far off the mark with her assessment, despite being off by a factor of a few thousand years or so.

"It's not to Philemon, either - that's Butterfly Guy. I checked. Maybe we should find some other deity to worship. One who can solve monster problems without teleporting in people from different worlds." Perhaps the god of giant cans of bug spray. "Oh, and hi."

That strangling bitterness approaching jolts Yurick out of his slight trance, his one pale blue-gray eye fixing instantly on Naoya. He sits up straight, watching the stranger, wary but not hostile. His energy quiets a little, as if the seals on it are stronger when he's fully conscious, but now it also has focus to it. It's ready to be called forth if he has need to protect himself.

[ Yuri's not the type of person who would figure out that people were telling the truth immediately. Sure, it may take her a while to figure out the truth (read: several minutes at best), but it's not as if she's hiding from anyone.

There are various places to find Yuri, whether she's in the SSS HQ at the Phoenix Free School, shopping for clothes or weapons. And all seems normal. Too normal.

Maugris, meanwhile, knows at least vaguely what the Renaissance was about and suspects she's closer to the mark than she realizes.

"Huh, did you find out who it is a temple to?" Now he's curious. "But Butterfly Guy has a name, that's good at least. Philemon, Philemon... Huh, I've only ever heard of Philemon as a mortal. There's a whole story about it, it's kind of a myth about hospitality traditions and stuff. Do they have stories about gods wandering around in disguise on your planet?"

[His eyes flicker towards the apartments not unlike a caged animal seeking escape.]

[The frustration and fear in his voice is genuine - probably more genuine than anything else he's said to Taro before.

"There's a big statue of her - someone named Palutena. Whoever she was, she sure had a lot of money to spend. I wouldn't mind living somewhere like that."

At Maugris's next query, she blinks at him in slight surprise.

"...Sort of. Not really. Bgztlian mythology is a bit strange. You know how you have stories about things like why there're different seasons? Our venerable ancestors decided to come up with dimension-spanning cosmic entities we can't actually see since they float around a few layers above us and spend all their time watching you over your shoulder. It helped keep you on your toes."

[Okay that's it - hug attempt is go. He tries to get an arm around the other's shoulders and the other around his back.]

I'm always afraid my friends don't know how much I appreciate them, so I overcompensate.

[He stiffens at the hug-- it's been years since he's been on the receiving end of one. And with the situation being what it is, he instinctively begins to pull back, his voice quiet and shaky.]

At the beginning of the week, Miyako didn't notice anything odd, yet. But it won't be long until someone ask the right (or wrong) questions to her.

Miyako can be found either entering or exiting JP's HQ, shopping for things she need to restock on or working out in the gym floor at Pisces apartment. And sometimes, she may be found occasionally stopping to look at a violin on display in a music store. Hm.

"You have white hair and red eyes and a sharp, feminine beauty, so Desco is giving it even odds that you are either a conflicted hero with a troubled past or an evil mastermind bent on enacting your will on a terrified populace!"

So cheerful as she says this.

Kotoha freezes, her eyes wide with shock.

"N-not that I would, you're just really attractive and the thought would cross my mind AND WHAT IN ARCEUS' NAME AM I SAYING?!"

Just going to clamp her mouth shut with both hands, thanks. The portions of her face visible through her fingers are tomato red.

[As neighbours, it's not at all unusual for Miyako to see Hizumi at the apartments. Either in the morning or the evening, she would see him around.

She didn't plan on talking to him, but his visibly seen distress caught her attention. Once he's reasonably close enough, she spoke up.]

Mizushiro, what's troubling you?

[He shakes his head, looking down - and effectively leaning his head against Taro's shoulder in the process. It's not that he doesn't hear the things Taro speaks of, but frankly he's in a panic that he's just said as much as he did.]
