Summary: The Time of Truthiness is upon Hinoto-Ri!

It begins. A strange aura spreads out over Hinoto-Ri, stealing into the hearts, minds, and mouths of every denizen of the city, changing them - embiggening their souls with the power of TRUTHINESS.

For one week, Hinoto-Ri becomes a city where no lies can exist. Who is responsible for this? Will their dedication to ABSOLUTE TRUTHINESS bring them victory...or defeat?

"That sounds like a great idea!"

Well, from Midori's point of view, it's the complete truth...

"Alright, all aboard! You'd better sit behind me so I'm not tempted to molest you."

Kotoha freezes, her eyes wide with shock.

"N-not that I would, you're just really attractive and the thought would cross my mind AND WHAT IN ARCEUS' NAME AM I SAYING?!"

Just going to clamp her mouth shut with both hands, thanks. The portions of her face visible through her fingers are tomato red.

...

"I'm willing to blame the city's weird things for this if you are."

Because how else did you react to people casually admitting they were tempted to grope you.

Kotoha nods, still not trusting herself to actually speak.

[prettytamer]

"...The moth ride still seems cool! Um, if you want to do it still."

[unbroken_chain]

Kotoha slowly holds up one finger in a 'wait' gesture before drawing out another sphere.

"I'll...ride something...else."

She speaks slowly, waiting for her words to twist on her again. When she manages to get to the end of the sentence without saying anything else mortifying, she quickly triggers the sphere and releases a UFO. Swinging herself on top of the robot's dome, she addresses the moth.

"Solar Logos, give her a smooth ride, okay?"

After a little bit of figuring out how to do so without hurting the moth (probably), Midori climbs on Solar Logos's back.

"I'm ready when you are!"

Well, she said she wouldn't actually molest her, so Midori's willing to give her the benefit of the doubt. Besides, she was a cam girl, lots of people thought she was attractive.

Okay so Kotoha will just lead the way while crouched on top of Tesla and refusing to actually speak out loud.

The Magnezone is nowhere near as fast as Solar Logos but does have the benefit of greater maneuverability, which doesn't actually...matter all that much right now. It's not long before the small group is on top of a particularly tall building with a generous view of the surrounding area. As Kotoha swings off of Tesla's dome, she addresses Midori, her face still slightly pink and her tone uncertain.

"So, uh, is this a good overview? If you want to take photos from actual mid-air, you're better off riding Tesla, since he's better at holding steady."

[prettytamer]

Midori nods and snaps a few shots of the surroundings.

"Thank you! It sucks that the city's being weird today, but I'm still thankful for the ride on your giant moth."

[unbroken_chain]

"Yeah. I hope this doesn't end with another hospital stay like that memory thing did."

...even though that wasn't what she intended to say it was still a lot less embarrassing than it could have been.

[prettytamer]

"That was annoying, but I got to bring lots of people gift baskets and most of them liked them, so even that wasn't all bad."

Gift baskets! Doing good for others!

"Oh, well then. I just sort of wandered around trying to cheer people up, mostly because I'm fairly emphatic and being around sad or angry people gives me stress migraines and it's happening again."

Kotoha snaps her jaw shut, a light blush coloring her face, although not anywhere near the level from before.

[prettytamer]

"Oh, I can fix that by being way happier than the situation calls for! ...Is that how empathy works?"

This is something Midori admits to even when not truth'd.

"Oh no, I didn't mean I was getting another migraine, just that I was saying more than I meant to."

Slight pause.

"And it doesn't work that way for me, at the very least."

[prettytamer]

"Aww. It was worth a try."

Another pause.

"How long do you want to stay up here?"

[unbroken_chain]

"If you want to go back to the street I can get Tesla to give you a ride down, but I think I'll stay up here until I can stop being mortified."

[prettytamer]

"Maybe that's a good idea. I hope this stops soon."
