Visitor Festival Log (OPEN TO ALL)
Who: EVERYONE
Where: Virgo Ward
Summary: Visitor Festival Log! You're all invited!
Warnings: Celebrations
A year might seem so little at first, but for a city like Hinoto-Ri, progress had been steady. And how would it have been without you? Hard to say. Regardless, there were some appreciative people of your hard work, and thus you were warned ahead of time of a little celebration that would be held in your honor, this Friday (FRIDAY! FRIDAY!)
Nothing too outrageous, you had been promised. After all, budgets had to be made and citizens had to be saved. Something more akin to a fun party with friends and the city. An open note sent out to all citizens if they so wanted to join in.
There was quite a turnout! The lure of fun and food drew people from all the wards and words of encouragement and thanks were given to you freely. Maybe because some of them had drank too much sake.
The booths are bustling with activity. There's food for everyone as merchants try to outdo each other with both traditional food and more exotic ones; Corn on the cob, Pumpkins, Yaki Imo (Oven-Roasted Sweet Potatoes), Ramen stands, Falafel, caramelized apples, octopus sausages on sticks...
There are also signup sheets for competitions tonight. While townspeople can join, the big draw is to see the Visitors attempt the typical school festivals, such as the swimsuit competition and the dress competition (for both male and women!).
...yeah maybe they just have a good sense of humor. Which is good! A happy city means, at least, for a little while, people can forget what's happening and maybe the place is going to flourish more with hope.
So hopefully you can show them that by enjoying yourselves!

I don't-!
[Her voice is frantic and clearly upset.]
Those pictures were taken without my knowing... I can't believe they're selling these...!
[She's never really had to worry about her privacy being violated before. Sure, Anko could get a little overboard with her investigations, but she never did anything like this...]
no subject
These are not taken with permission???
[Which meant... Would they have done a similar thing to Yurippe?! He turns away from Aoi to glare at the booth owner, and starts yelling at the person. Soon, he was swinging his halberd around and proceeds to destroy the booth...]

[She doesn't quite realize what he's doing until it's too late. Although she reaches a hand to stop him, he's already in the midst of destroying the booth and the merchandise both. And although it's not good to destroy others' belongings, something makes her pause just long enough for it all to be quite decimated...
It's not until the posters are all undoubtedly shredded that she focuses on her power, the familiar red gash-like marks crawling over her skin as she extends her telekinesis to lift Noda into the air and away from the mess. It takes some extra effort, but she manages a deep bow to the dumbstruck owner.]
I'm so sorry-! But in the future, please consider a different line of business.
[She pours her concentration into the next task, turning and walking briskly elsewhere as she pulls Noda in the air along with her. She makes it just far enough to round a corner before her concentration gives out, and he is gently dropped to the ground.]
That-- That was dangerous!
[It's not a tone of scolding, but rather of worry. She did what she could at the time, but she has no doubt that he could get in some serious trouble from this...]

When he was released from the grip and dropped to the ground, he almost immediately took off back to the booth to finish slicing up everything, but instead angrily faces Aoi.]
Why have you stopped me?! There is a line one should not cross, and that was one of them! That booth owner had seen it coming!!
[This is coming from a person who wouldn't hesitate to be really mean to kids. Yep.]
no subject
[And she does mean that.]
But... If we stayed there, you would have probably been arrested. The merchandise is already destroyed so if we just leave it at that... I think it's for the best.
[She hesitates for only a short moment before giving small bow.]
--But, thank you.
no subject
...There is no need for it.
[He looks away shyly as he scratches his cheek lightly, basking in the small happiness he got from actually being useful
, in a way.]no subject
I was... about to do something similar myself, so...
[Albeit more with fierce arguing instead of actual, physical destruction.]
Really, thank you. For doing this for me.
