Who: Agatha Heterodyne and OPEN
Where: Anywhere from the Pisces apartments to Castle Heterodyne in the Sagittarius district.
What: Now that her castle is in town, Agatha is moving out of the apartments.
Warnings: Snarky castle.

[While Agatha was away in Geartopia there was a new addition to the Sagittarius district. Castle Heterodyne. It's a bit of a handful, so the government simply blocked it off with caution tape until it's owner returned. Now that she's back, it's time to move back into her house.

Agatha hasn't been here long enough to amass a whole lot of stuff to move, so she's trying to get everything in one trip. So she can be found heading across the city, several boxes stacked up in her arms. Careful, they're blocking her view so she may run into someone. Possibly you. She is being followed by a dozen tiny dingbots, all carrying smaller boxes.

Bother her while she's packing? Run into her while she's moving? Offer to help carry stuff? Or maybe you're just curious who owns that horrible foreboding castle. Your choice.]

Huh?

[She very nearly loses the top box on the stack as she whirls around in surprise. Then she laughs.]

Yeah, I guess I could use a hand. Thanks.

All right. Just a moment, then.

[Fumi nods, pulling out her phone and summoning the demon Lugh.]

Lugh, help us out, won't you?

[Because using ancient demons as pack mules is a responsible use of her summoning powers.]

[Agatha is impressed.]

That's pretty handy.

[She hands over the boxes gratefully. Several of the dingbots eye her jealously. Why do they still have to carry stuff?]

I'm heading over to the Sagittarius district.

Sagittarius, hm? Find a better workspace than an abandoned warehouse?

Much better. My castle just showed up.

[Agatha is obviously pretty pleased with this turn of events.]

Oh? Well, I'm certainly interested in seeing that.

Sure! I'll give you the grand tour. The labs are amazing!

[But then it occurs to her that maybe she should give fair warning.]

Oh, um... I should warn you. It likes to tease people. Don't worry though, half of the things it says it's going to do are empty threats.

It...? You mean the castle. The castle teases people.

[Totally incredulous over here.]

It's a complex intelligent device. One of my ancestors built it.

[she sighs.]

They say he used a copy of his own mind to give the castle it's personality. Which makes me wonder about him...

One wonders how a world that seemingly never progressed beyond steam technology was able to come up with a functional advanced artificial intelligence system, but then again, a lot of what you do with that spark of yours is completely unquantifiable by modern science to begin with. Until I'm able to observe it in action in much more detail, I'm going to classify it as OOP Arts for the preservation of my own sanity.

Honestly, Castle Heterodyne is pretty unique. I think the only things that even come close are Van Rijn's muses.

And no spark has been able to reproduce similar results since.

[Her grin might be ever so slightly mischievous. She leads the way to the castle, which is doing it's best to loom menacingly over it's new home. It's important to make an impression on the neighbors. At their approach, the front gate swings open.]

Welcome back, my Lady.

[Fumi raises an interested eyebrow as she watches the gate open in front of them.]

Well, that's certainly interesting.

[That castle agrees with her assessment.]

Yes, most people do agree on that point.

[Agatha rolls her eyes.]

It wasn't designed to be humble. But it is an impressive device.

[She grins.]

Would you like a tour?

A tour? But you haven't even formally introduced us yet.

[Well, she asked for it.]

Alright then, Fumi, this is Castle Heterodyne.

[She gestures grandly toward some vague point on the ceiling.]

Castle, this is Fumi. She's a friend and colleague.

[Better to stress that before the castle gets ideas about messing with her.]

It's pleasure to meet you, Miss. Any friend of the Lady Heterodyne is always welcome here.

Likewise.

[Fumi glances up at the ceiling, unable to help but smile a little.]

What would you like to see first? Perhaps the red playroom? Or the library? I've a lovely conservatory, if you happen to like plants.

Actually, I think we ought to skip the conservatory for now.

[Agatha makes a mental note to rid the conservatory of all the carnivorous plants later. The castle makes a small noise of disappointment.]

I was hoping we could start with the labs.

Ah, an excellent choice. I am equipped with a vast array of specialized laboratory areas that-

[With a wave of her hand, Agatha cuts the castle off.]

We'll just start with the closest one.

Oh, very well. Down the side corridor to your left then.

Shall we?

Lead the way.

[Fumi is going to be smiling this entire time, she just knows it.]

[Down the corridor is a large medical lab, full of strange devices with colorful labels like 'the artful blood drainer,' the 'amusing octo electrocuter,' the 'human to pet brain transplant device,' and the 'scream emulator.' The castle will proudly narrate the tour.]

This is the Red Playroom, the favorite laboratory of Iago Heterodyne. He had a particular interest in medical science.

[Agatha sighs.]

My relatives were.... colorful.

[Upon closer inspection, some of the device show signs of recent tinkering, and a few have been redesigned to suit new purposes.]

[This was a good place to start. Fumi's own research dovetails nicely with medical technology.]

Do these still work?

Most of them. A few had to be recently.... re-purposed.

[The castle will helpfully add to that.]

If this equipment isn't satisfactory, there are a number of other medical labs to choose from.

That too. This place has more labs than bedrooms.
