What: Girls' Night! A big girls only sleepover party.
Where: Amagi Inn, Scorpio District
When: The night of Saturday, November 9th

[Things have been pretty busy in the city lately, and Nano thinks it's high time she and her best girl friends got together for another night of fun at the Amagi Inn. And since she's in charge of the place and November isn't exactly the busy season, she's got the whole place reserved for a big sleepover party on Saturday night. It's a girls' only get together, but open to quite literally anyone and everyone she's ever talked to before. She'll be in the main hall to greet people as they come in, and there's snacks and refreshments set up along with a huge assortment of movies to watch on the big screen TV in the lobby. Everyone is free to pick and choose whatever rooms they want to stay in, and of course the hot springs are open to everyone. It's still cold and snowing outside, but the water is nice and hot as always for anyone who wants to take an outdoor bath.]

[All night long, there will be movies playing on the TV in the lobby. There are all sorts of genres for the guests' enjoyment - romantic comedies, scary movies, action films, animated features, and whatever else people want to watch.]

Desco is terrible at watching movies. She critiques the gore in horror films, the villains in just about everything, and when the villains are to her liking she critiques the heroes.

Which is why her rapt silence while watching this movie is so striking.

Who knew the secret to purchasing Desco's silence was Muppet movies?

[Nano loves these movies.]

Desco sighs dreamily.

"Mr. Gonzo is so handsome and dashing, isn't he?"

Is he your favorite, Desco-chan?

Nod nod nod.

"Yeah!"

A slight pause.

"Sis, is there more like this?"

More Muppet movies? Yes, there are a lot of them!

"Yaaaay! Um, um, Desco is going to go get some popcorn, so don't start the next one without her, okay?"

And now Desco is flying to the snack table as fast as she possibly can.

Can you bring me a soda while you're gone?

"Okay, Sis!"

When Desco gets back, she has a bucket of popcorn liberally doused with what appears to be chocolate syrup and a six-pack of grape soda. Because purple is the cutest color.

"Can Desco eat the cans once they're empty?"

[Normally Nano would have a lecture about too many sweets in reaction to the sight of so much chocolate sauce on top of that much popcorn, but this is a sleepover, so Desco gets a pass. This time.]

Oh.... um... if you want to, I suppose. It'll cut down on the recycling afterward.

Good luck with that - metal, caterpillar eggs and random demons are just about the only things she eats that aren't loaded with sugar. Anyway. Desco is just going to cuddle up next to Nano, worming her head underneath Nano's arm.

"Say 'ahhh', Sis!"

Desco. Is sharing her popcorn.

Ahhhhhh...!

[Nano gladly complies, giggling a little as she opens her mouth wide.]

And Desco pops some chocolatey popcorn into Nano's mouth, giggling herself. She's still keeping a few eyes trained on the TV as the movie starts, of course, but that doesn't stop her from looking happily at Nano as well.

"Love you, Sis."

Compared to Desco's usual bombastic tones, the simple declaration is subdued, but obviously heartfelt.

[Time for affectionate headpats!]

I love you too.

As always, Desco's response to headpats is purring. Even though her tentacles aren't deployed and shouldn't be audible.

...oh, wait, it's coming from her tail. Right, that was a mouth too, wasn't it?

The tip of one ear twitches as Desco sighs in bliss.

You're a good girl, Desco-chan.

[pat pat pat]

[ Yukko can be very loud and easily spooked. So when everyone decides to watch a scary movie, she gets pretty animated! ]

NO! No, don't go in there! He's in there, don't- !!!

[ The character goes in there and gets caught. Yukko makes a sound like a balloon deflating. ]

Is it safe to look yet...?

[And here's Nano, all cuddled up to her best friend's side with her hands over her eyes. Why the two of them decided on a horror move is anyone's guess, considering they're both scared out of their wits.]

[ There's a long, concentrated pause on Yukko's end before she ever responds. She shakes her friend's arm. ]

Hey - Hey Nano? I think he's gone. You can look now!

[ And in about five seconds the killer is going to pop out and scare the bejesus out of them! ]

[Nano slowly peeks through her hands, lowering them very slowly.]

O-oh...

[AND THEN ARGLEGARGLEBARGLE THERE HE IS AGAIN

Nano, of course, screams and clings even harder to Yukko.]

[ Yukko yells and squeezes Nano, turning her head away from the TV altogether! This is too spooky for her! ]

NANOOOOOOO!

It's too scary! It's way too scary!

[Nano clings tightly to Yukko, burying her head in her friend's shoulder.]
