Girls' Night Sleepover

Who: Nano Shinonome and all of her female CR
What: Girls' Night!  A big girls only sleepover party.
Where: Amagi Inn, Scorpio District
When: The night of Saturday, November 9th
Warnings: Hopefully none!

[Things have been pretty busy in the city lately, and Nano thinks it's high time she and her best girl friends got together for another night of fun at the Amagi Inn.  And since she's in charge of the place and November isn't exactly the busy season, she's got the whole place reserved for a big sleepover party on Saturday night.  It's a girls' only get together, but open to quite literally anyone and everyone she's ever talked to before.  She'll be in the main hall to greet people as they come in, and there's snacks and refreshments set up along with a huge assortment of movies to watch on the big screen TV in the lobby.  Everyone is free to pick and choose whatever rooms they want to stay in, and of course the hot springs are open to everyone.  It's still cold and snowing outside, but the water is nice and hot as always for anyone who wants to take an outdoor bath.]

Kotoha nods in response, echoed by a deep rumble from Tomoe.

"This feels great. Tomoe likes it too!"

[Nano laughs, reaching over to gently pat Tomoe's side.]

I'm glad! Make sure not to move around too much, Tomoe-san, or all the water will splash out of the springs!

Kotoha waves one hand bonelessly.

"No worries, no worries, she knows Scald! Instant refill, right there."

Oh! That's very convenient.

"Yup. Sometimes I really wonder how they managed to build this city without Pokemon helping them."

Is that how cities are built where you're from?

"It's how civilization is built. The idea that a city this size could be built just by humans alone...if I couldn't see it myself I would never have believed it."

Well, they use machines too...

"Oh, we've got those too...in fact, I'm actually a Heavy Machinery Pro! Got the badge and everything. But there's tons of stuff that can't be done without Pokemon...like, they don't even have any Grass-types to tend to the greenhouses in the apartments."

But all you have to do to care for plants is make sure they get enough water and sunlight.

Kotoha sits up a little straighter, hauling herself slightly out of the water using Tomoe's back as a handhold.

"In order to properly raise plants, you need to pay attention to the composition of the soil, the general climate, the kind of fertilizer you use, and a whole bunch of other stuff. Without a Grass-type Pokemon to tell you what's wrong directly, you'd have to just...guess why your crops are underperforming."

E-even for houseplants?

"Houseplants are a bit less picky, but the greenhouses in the apartments don't have houseplants. They're food plants that were specifically installed to help with the supply lines. I do what I can, most of the time, but I just don't have any Grass-types with me."

Oh... I suppose that's true. But I'm sure there are people who know a lot about how to take care of plants even in worlds without Pokemon.

"Probably! I'm just saying it's kind of a weird concept to me."

It must have been very strange to suddenly come to a world with no Pokemon. And probably lonely, too...

Kotoha suddenly looks a bit less confident.

"...yeah. I miss my Mom a lot. But, you know...I have Tomoe and the others with me, so I'm never completely alone!"

At this, the Samurott rumbles in approval and nuzzles Kotoha.

[Nano smiles, placing a hand on Kotoha's other shoulder.]

That's right. Friendship is forever.

"Yeah, that's for sure...did you know that a lot of Pokemon don't evolve until they trust their trainer with all their hearts?"

Kotoha takes a moment to stroke Tomoe's horn affectionately.

"Like my Arthur. He was this tiny little Riolu when I got him, but once he started trusting me he evolved into a Lucario."

[Nano gasps, smiling and excitedly clapping her hands together.]
