You awaken in a dark room.

...To the sound of giggling.

"Ohmygosh, they're finally awake!" The shrill voice elicits an uncontrollable wince of pain; as the lights flicker on, the wince is liable to evolve into a full-on expression of abject horror. Everything is pink. The bed is pink. The walls are pink. The flower petals are pink. The confetti and streamers are pink. The enormous scented candles strewn about everywhere are pink.

............The tight briefs and/or lingerie that may or may not be on your body in place of your own underwear are pink (You do get to keep your clothing, so this part is optional if you don't want to play it - your characters can wake up in their normal bedclothes or day clothes if you like. However, if your characters do wake up in sexy underwear or their PJs, their normal clothes will be in a nearby dresser.)

Before you have too much time to consider exactly what's going on, the voice sounds again.

"We are going to have so much fun! We just knew the two of you would be perfect together. No connection to the outside world whatsoever! No need to thank us! Now, we'll just be here in the corner and you two can just... oh, you know!"

The fairy blushes and sighs longingly.

"OK! Good luck!"

Right about then, you realize someone else is in bed next to you.

[The event has begun! Please refer to this post to see how things will go. If you prefer not to have fairies directly involved, they will very generously allow you a little time ~alone~ if you ask, though they will return. Otherwise, they will be scribbling notes, drawing and narrating your "steamy romance" (romance may not be as steamy as implied). Characters can attack the fairies all they like, but it will have no effect, as they're projecting themselves in with magic while they watch from the safety of their little pixie laptops.

Remember that you control the fairies and what they say. We've created an npc account pixielove and you can find the password here, so have fun! You're free to use the account or not at your discretion.

Additionally, for the 14th to the 15th at night, anyone stuck together will not be able to contact the outside world. Don't worry, the fairies will let everyone know you're safe!]

[He lets out a cry and steps back when she slams into the wall...well, he has no idea what that was supposed to do, but it looks like that won't be a way of escaping anytime soon.]

[Kaguya is generally a sound sleeper. It wasn't like she had to worry about anything killing her in her sleep or anything, or so she thought at least.

The first clue she had that anything was off was when she was being shaken. Wait...why was someone in her room? With a groan, Kaguya began to awaken, eyes fluttering open to take in the view of the overly pink room, and her new apparent roommate.

Well, this was interesting. She didn't remember falling asleep with this woman or anything. She sits up with a yawn. Her own attire was different than usual, consisting of a pink silk kimono that was pretty revealing. It didn't really bother her, though.]

What's going on?

[Fumi huffs, crossing her arms in irritation.]

The two of us seem to be the victim of a prank by some fairies with entirely too much time on their hands.

And then the sultry scientist coyly batted her eyelashes...

[Her eye twitches. Close enough.]

Maybe next time you'll at least think before you act like a jerk.

[Nope he's still not sorry. His back slumps as he looks from the fairies, to the barricaded windows.]

"An abusive relationship..." On what end? [It's mostly muttered to himself as he makes his way to the door to fuss with the latch. Of course it wouldn't be that easy, but being educated about your surroundings isn't a terrible plan...]

What? No! I don't even know her!

[ On the subject of what he does and does not know... Just where is he? This isn't his apartment. Not that he doesn't like pink (satouuuu) but his place isn't this pink. And he's pretty sure that he fell asleep in a less pink pair of shorts and wearing a less pink singlet. ]

Did you kidnap me?

[On Otonashi's, clearly!! Because Hizumi is surely not at fault here in the slightest.

Except where he is, but we aren't thinking on that too much here.

Still, he won't even dignify that with a response, remaining in a nice little sulk on his side of the bed, covers drawn up high. If Otonashi seriously thinks they're going to find the door unlocked so they can just waltz on out, he's free to it.]

"Oh my gosh, what is this, a lover's quarrel?"

[The fairy's voice starts off irate, but the sudden hush that follows it is... ominous. Almost like--]

"It totally is, isn't it? Instead of talking it out, they keep fighting, never getting their true feelings out-!"

"Quick, quick, write it down, write it down!!"

[More giggling. Did Hizumi just bury his head under his pillow?]

Um... no, that was basically my "true feeling" on the matter.

[Somewhat. True, Hizumi can be a jerk, but he had wanted to be a friend to the other boy.

Friends lost aside, he focuses intently on the door and predictably begins trying to throw his body into it, hoping for a break. Because what else would he do, really. After a few attempts, he heads over to the dresser and begins digging around in it.]

Nngh... Wait, there's a-- [Key! But something isn't right about it...]

"Oh, oh oh oh! Those go to the fuzzy handcuffs! What do you think?"

[ ... ]

[bondsofsuffering]

"A-he~m! Let's see now... 'With a devious look, Otonashi began to search for just the right toy to make the night perfect...'"

[Still better than the horror tower, still better than the horror tower, still better than the horror tower... Is what Hizumi is trying to convince himself of, anyway.

With a low groan, he finally drags himself out of blanket town and turns over to look at Otonashi.]

Oi. Your Persona. What can it do?

[The intent should be clear enough; if you're going to bother with the door, at least try magic or something.]

Don't say that so... so cheerfully! T-that's not it!

[And just to prove his point, he tosses those godforsaken pink handcuffs against the wall.]

"The poor boy's heart is just racing!~ He takes it out on the toys, too inexperienced... too flustered... ahh, virgin love~"

It heals. That's basically it. If I thought it would be useful, I might have considered using it for a change.

"Hizumi suggests a truly magical night. Maybe he wants to try a darker side of love, knowing he won't be judged just for tonight..."

"Oh gosh you know that's a weakness of mine!" The fairy is blushing intensely, burying her face in her hands as she giggles.

...You're one of the types who never goes to the Velvet Room, aren't you?

[Hizumi actually pauses a minute to weigh his options, here. On one hand, Itzpalt had enough firepower to potentially kill Otonashi if he were accidentally caught up in the attack, and for all his annoyance Hizumi doesn't really want to kill the guy.

On the other, summoning Yaiba meant... well, summoning Yaiba.]

...

Get away from the door.

"It's so cold without you in bed with me ♥ Hizumi whimpered tearfully...!"

I... don't bother with the Persona.

[He leaves it at that and backs away from the door, a look of concern quickly claiming his face. The backs of his heels near the wall, and...]

There's not a ton of room in here. What... are you going to do?

[They really, really aren't. In-between their giggles, the story-telling continues.]

The detective feels the cold iron of the "baker's" gun against his temple and a hot chill runs up his spine. Was this an emotion? Little did he know, Shelly intended to arouse such questions precisely, when he suggested this bout of tense roleplaying. This dangerous game was reminiscent of their work, but perhaps it was only so that Bobby - no, the two of them - could more comfortably slip into their night of passion.

[Shelly's firm grip on the handgun falters for an instant before he murmurs something again - this time, a question.]

What... What are they talking about...?

The princess responds by inviting the scientist for an eternity in bed with her.

[After all, when your lifespan is literally endless, time can be a moot concept. She does smirk a bit at the fairies' narration, though. Amusing.]

I'll admit this room does have its charm. Besides, it's not like they're harming us, are they?

The accommodations are rather nice, though, now that you mention it.

[Yoshino didn't mind the pink so much. It was the whole being stuck in a room with a stranger thing that bothered her. She continues staring blankly at him, although its very obvious that she's afraid. Though with the way her puppet speaks, you certainly wouldn't know it.]

Hahahaha, that's funny! I couldn't kidnap you if I wanted to. What other jokes do you know?

[By now, it's become pretty damn evident that the fairies know about his little 'condition'. If they keep talking about it like that, pretty soon Shelly will know too. This is the sort of thing he prefers to keep a secret, so he can use it as a trump card. Hell, that's one of the reasons he wanted to make the psych profile disappear. Still, it's not like there's any way for him to tell the fairy to shut up about it without drawing even more attention to it.

Time to amp up the drama factor and see if he can get those evil little moths to change their minds.]

Y-you two! He's not roleplaying! This is serious! Don't you care about my safety at all?! Where is the justice in this?! [SOB.]

I agree I don't think love triangles are that great. At least these fairies don't seem to be able to make us do anything we don't want to do.

If we're here for the weekend we might as well get to know each other ... in a platonic way of course. We've talked over the network briefly but we've never met. So, I'm M'gann, back home I'm a hero.

[Here's to hoping Shelly won't enquire into the matter, because the fairies will likely explain in gross detail just what they mean by roleplaying. Uegh. The lack of response to his plea is very unfortunate, but it's not like they've already explored every other option.]

Can't we just call for help on the COMP network? [Besides, the sooner Shelly puts that gun away again, the better.]
