Summary: Fumi's upset because Agatha Heterodyne is gone, so Kotoha has proposed a Girl's Day Out

Directly after last night's conversation, Kotoha sprung into action! It didn't take long to get everything set up for the next day, and now it is the next day, so she's turning up at Fumi's place at a reasonable hour, decked out in her preferred shopping outfit of jeans and a powder-blue blouse, with her hair pulled back in a braid.

It's probably for the best not to be instantly recognizable if you're planning on hitting one of the Visitor Merch shops, after all.

[Fumi quietly strides in behind her, folding her arms and looking around at the various wares for sale.]

"Huh! These are new."

Kotoha, naturally, went straight for the clothing racks. The item she's inspecting is...a white cheongsam with a sakura blossom pattern. The next rack over contains what looks like Kotoha's normal white-and-blue shirt with the Pokeball design on the chest.

...Cosplay?

[Fumi isn't sure whether to be amused or frustrated.]

Shrug.

"We are kind of celebrities, after all!"

Pause.

"...I wonder if there's, like...conventions or something."

If I find out there are people LARPing as me...

Tiiiiime for a change of subject; this is supposed to be relaxing, after all. Kotoha reels away from the clothing racks and towards the case the watches are kept in.

"Oh, you might like this one!"

Kotoha's pointing at an old-fashioned pocket watch, modified to resemble one of Agatha's tiny robots.

[Good idea, Kotoha.]

Hm... a dingbot watch.

[Fumi smiles a little when she sees it, picking it up and turning it over for a moment before popping it open.]

The watchface is analog, engraved to look like gears in keeping with the retro theme. There's a small inner case in which to insert a photograph, as well.

Kotoha, meanwhile, is inspecting a rather more chunky digital watch, looking amused.

"Wow, you can really tell they just built this from a photo."

Well, I suppose I could use a new watch.

[Yeah, she's gonna buy this.]

I suppose a wide variation in quality is to be expected.

"Yeah, this is all one piece, see? Doesn't even have the sliding screen for video calls."

With that, Kotoha turns away from the watch case.

"I'm gonna go see if they've gotten in any new Persona statues, 'kay?"

Statues? I don't suppose they sell plushies, too.

"They sell plush versions of Victini, at least!"

Having a tiny fuzzy rabbit-thing for a Soul Persona can pay off sometimes, it seems.

Hmm... nothing I'm directly familiar with. Although I suppose the 72 demons of the Lesser Key of Solomon don't exactly make for good plush material.

Kotoha is examining one particular statue.

"...huh. I don't recognize this one."

It's probably from a video game from the 80s.

"Huh. Who'd have a Persona that old, anyway?"

Kotoha cheerily dismisses it from her mind and grabs one of the Victini plushes from the bin.

"Okay, I'm set!"

Just the watch for me, I think.

[unbroken_chain]

Kotoha nods in agreement before pausing for a second.

"...hey, wait a second. Are those..."

With that, she heads over to a nearby stand and starts laughing.

"Oh Arceus, seriously? Look at this!"

She is holding a set of plastic juggling balls painted to look like her own Pokeballs.

Can you even juggle?

"I will learn."

Alright, time to pay for stuff!

[terminally_clever]

[And stuff is paid for! Fumi seems pleased with the dingbot watch, slipping it into the pocket of her coat.]

I may have to come back here again.

Nod nod.

"They've got some cool stuff!"

Slight pause.

"Okay, for the next stop, I'll provide the transportation, 'kay?"

And out comes Solar Logos.

That's fair.

[Fumi follows Kotoha up onto the volcano moth's back.]

Where is the next stop, as a matter of curiosity?

"Solar Logos, Plan Nine!"

And it is only after the moth has taken off that Kotoha answers the question.

"I got us bookings at a spa!"

...A spa?

[There is a brief moment when Fumi considers jumping off the back of Solar Logos, summoning Fenghuang to catch her in midair, and noping off into the sunset, but she restrains herself.]

I've... never actually been to one of those.
