Summary: Garviel teaches people how to fight with guns, blades, hand to hand, and everything but silly personas pretty much.
Warnings: Manliness, possible combat, a lot of talking.
[Loken waits, a few spare blades and a few longarms and pistols in a fairly careless-looking pile beside him, holding his chainsword two-handed, almost challenging anyone to approach him and learn. He is 8 feet tall, and an imposing figure at the edge of the plains, just before the forest.]

The samurai is still around (Hardly a surprise, as he physically can't leave.). He looks down to the pile of weapons, then up to Cerberus.

"You spend a lot of time thinking about war, don't you?"

The warrior looks at Jack, and nods,

"I must teach those that don't know how to fight."

"Teaching martial skill to any who asks seems..."

He searches for a better word than "irresponsible", but eventually is forced to settle on...

"...Irresponsible."

"Only those with actual determination and talent will learn from my methods of teaching."

A space marine is a harsh taskmaster.

"Determination, skill and talent are important, yes, but it is far more important that one learns why to fight, first."

A samurai has different standards.

"In the defense of humanity, of course. From what I can tell that is why we are all here, why we've been chosen."

He shifts slightly, "You have a point though. Even a weapon must have a purpose beyond destruction, or it has no real reason to exist."

[back_to_the_past]

"Precisely."

Confident that Cerberus will close up shop until he's rethought this out and started in a less haphazard method, Jack turns to continue on his way.

Oops. Well, Jack's intentions were good. But he really does believe people are coming to him for the right reasons.
