Summary: Garviel teaches people how to fight with guns, blades, hand to hand, and everything but silly personas pretty much.
Warnings: Manliness, possible combat, a lot of talking.
[Loken waits, a few spare blades and a few longarms and pistols in a fairly careless-looking pile beside him, holding his chainsword two-handed, almost challenging anyone to approach him and learn. He is 8 feet tall, and an imposing figure at the edge of the plains, just before the forest.]

[ Loken doesn't respond verbally, he just moves forward, sweeping the edge of the combat knife towards Arturia, forcing her on the defensive again, his full, brutal strength behind the swings, testing to see if she'll make the mistake of trying to parry. ]

[Finally.

A real fight.

Not to say the challenges she got from the other students at school or the sparring with her uncle wasn't challenging. But those students and her uncle she knew so well she could practically predict their moves. This man? This warrior she had only just met?

Her face was a perfect mask of calmness as Loken swung brutally at her. She swept to the side, hoping to sidestep behind him. With the amount of strength behind the blow and their size difference, there was no way she would be able to successfully parry him, so it was out of the question. If their blades met she would be defenseless as she needed to use both hands for her sword. Loken had no such disadvantage and longer limbs besides. To lock blades directly would be futile!]

[ Loken has to turn on his heel with her movement, turning back like a gate, almost ponderous, his previous slash turned into a backhanded swipe with the hilt of the combat blade, trying to stun her and knock her back before she can close and get a telling strike in. ]

[Somehow, she manages to duck under the hilt of his blade and then realizes she's inside his range of attack. Which also meant he was within reach her reach.

She made a quick swipe upward, hoping to get a hit into him and use her momentum to kick off the ground and make a dash out of his reach. Arturia knows this is a dangerous maneuver, but there was no point in letting the opportunity pass her by. If she didn't try to get a hit in, he would, and she had to be willing to take risks if she hoped to not only win, but, more importantly, to learn.]

[ Garviel grunts as the sword passes his guard, and strikes him, turning into it, accepting the blow into his center, realizing it would cut into him were it a full-on strike from a real blade, he lashes out with his fist as she's trying to dash out of reach, attempting to send her tumbling with a riposting counterpunch. ]

[she says after the punch lands on her shoulder, sending her to her knees instead of a full sprawl. She uses it to her advantage to get up and turn to face him once more.]

[ As she rises to meet him, he's sweeping in with an overhand stroke that if he weren't liable to pull it might cleave her from shoulder to thigh. He really isn't holding back at all on his offensive abilities, though he clearly is restraining his strength when it comes to blade or fist meeting flesh, clearly aware of her mortal frame and not wanting to break someone he rather likes. ]
