[OPEN] Snowball Fight!!

Who: Yosuke Hanamura and you!
Where: Any city districts, late afternoon
Summary: So it's snowing everywhere!! You know what that means right? (And if you don't, Yosuke will quickly teach you.) Yes, that's right. Snowball fight. He will be instigating pretty much anyone with a snowball to the back. Character reactions ensue!
Warnings: Snowball violence?

Wow, Yosuke hadn't seen this much snow in a while! It'd been a few months- from his perspective, about five, considering the weird jump in time that came from coming to this world- since the last drifts of snow had fallen on Inaba. What made the snow here especially cool, though, was the way the city made it look, especially at night.

But the best thing about snowy days, by far, was getting off of work early and being able to just run around in it. Sure, it was a pain in the ass to have to literally drag his bike through the snow, and sure he might've looked like a dumb kid romping through it, but hey, he was going to enjoy himself!

And of course that's when he got the idea- the terrible idea that came from just not caring that he looked absolutely ridiculous running around in the snow- to start some snowball fights.

He's not really paying attention to who he's hitting so whoever you are, whether he mistook you for someone else, whether he was aiming for someone else, or whether he just doesn't care, you are now getting a snowball right between the shoulder blades.

How do you react?

Yamato fought not to cringe when the cold slush of the half-melted snow stuck to his lower back, now sinking into the waistband of his trousers, and began to stride purposefully towards the now nervous looking teenager.

"Um? Um is not a proper response," Yamato purred.
drakenguard: (suspicious side glance)

Yamato came to a stop before the teenager, crossing his arms and managing to loom despite his somewhat average height (platform heels helped a lot okay).

"'Just snow' that is now making its uncomfortable way down my back," he said, his eyebrow giving a small twitch. Honestly, why was this person even tossing snowballs around? What possible purpose did that serve? "Answer; for what reason did you throw snow at me?"
drakenguard: (oohhh!!)

"A...game?"

Yamato's confusion was clear. Civilians had a game of lobbing snow at one another? Well, hrm, that was actually a useful activity. He was impressed. It would give one cardiovascular exercise, as well as increase aim and reflexes. But still.

Somehow it seemed incredibly juvenile.

"I haven't heard of it."
drakenguard: (hmph)

Yamato frowned thoughtfully.

Well, he wasn't doing anything right now - just taking a little walk. This snowball business still sounded childish to him, but - hrm, what could it hurt? It did sound like a good training exercise.

"Very well," Yamato said briskly. "What are the rules and what are the winning conditions?"

Yamato immediately crouched, but the snow clipped his shoulder from moving a bit too slowly. He ignored the flecks of cold smattering against his cheek, and merely dug his gloved fingers into the snow, throwing it at Yosuke in retaliation.

Let's see him use that Max Strength stat!
drakenguard: (yes senpai!)

Heh, this was actually sort of thrilling!

It didn't carry any of the urgency of a demon battle, but the shock of cold from the snow was enough of a deterrent to make him want to do 110% in evading (not that Yamato ever half-assed things, but still). Sadly, Yamato's forte was not in evading, so he did get smattered with snow half of the time.

But he paid back every hit with snowballs that were cruelly accurate and hard. He kept aiming for Yosuke's vitals - as in, the torso and sometimes the face - while simultaneously trying to keep up movement with limited success. Bah, running about on a slippery surface was harder than he realised...!

But running about in boots and a heavy coat was pretty exhausting too, especially for someone with his admittedly weak stamina. About ten minutes into this game he was already beginning to breathe heavily from exertion.

Yamato paused at Yosuke's cries, wondering if it was a trick, but smoothly straightened up and brushed his palms together to be rid of the clinging snow. The fabric of his gloves were soaking wet now, being more for show than to actually keep his hands warm, but he left them on.

"Tired?" Yamato asked - almost innocently - as he shoved his hands into his coat's pocket. Probably best if they took a break now, he had been starting to flag.

"Practice," Yamato said, definitely smirking a little now. "Although, admittedly, throwing snowballs is different to throwing blades..."

"Not regularly," Yamato said, sounding a bit business like now. "My enemies are not usually human, and conventional blades are not effective against demons or spirits."
