[OPEN] Snowball Fight!!

Who: Yosuke Hanamura and you!
Where: Any city districts, late afternoon
Summary: So it's snowing everywhere!! You know what that means right? (And if you don't, Yosuke will quickly teach you.) Yes, that's right. Snowball fight. He will be instigating pretty much anyone with a snowball to the back. Character reactions ensue!
Warnings: Snowball violence?

Wow, Yosuke hadn't seen this much snow in a while! It'd been a few months- from his perspective, about five, considering the weird jump in time that came from coming to this world- since the last drifts of snow had fallen on Inaba. What made the snow here especially cool, though, was the way the city made it look, especially at night.

But the best thing about snowy days, by far, was getting off of work early and being able to just run around in it. Sure, it was a pain in the ass to have to literally drag his bike through the snow, and sure he might've looked like a dumb kid romping through it, but hey, he was going to enjoy himself!

And of course that's when he got the idea- the terrible idea that came from just not caring that he looked absolutely ridiculous running around in the snow- to start some snowball fights.

He's not really paying attention to who he's hitting so whoever you are, whether he mistook you for someone else, whether he was aiming for someone else, or whether he just doesn't care, you are now getting a snowball right between the shoulder blades.

"No, it doesn't." She grins, laughing under her breath before making a few more. That shout gets a more natural one from her, though. "...Are you sure you want to be asking me that, though?"

Because- wait, where did she go?

...

Enjoy the barrage of suddenly snowballs from behind!!!

Yosuke has barely enough time to turn his head before he is pummeled in the back by the barrage, falling face-first in the ground. It takes him about half a minute to get up out of the ground, shaking the snow off of him. "Holy crap how did you do that?!"

You wanna play dirty, Aqua?? Yosuke takes several steps backwards before he summons Susano-o in front of him. The Persona then scoops up a rather big snowball and sends it flying in her direction.

"Magic." Well, it was honest? She IS a mage, after all. So when she smiles, there is a twinkle in her eye...

And then that Persona. It is a thing. As is the huge snowball being sent at her.

It was on instinct that she summoned a barrier that began flickering the moment her concentration did, but it manages to block the giant snowball before it outwardly explodes. The best part, though? There's no heat, which only makes the snow fall apart and... bury them both...

And then there were Magician and Star snow-people in the streets of Hinoto-Ri. Oops?

That is an explosion of snow coming his way alright....

And Yosuke is promptly covered, head to toe with snow, and he is now a Snowsuke.

He deserved this.

It takes him a little bit to get his bearings as he punches his way out of the snow pile, attempting to climb out and tripping, falling into the snow with a soft thud. "Agh, damnit... That was a bad idea..."

Well, at least he isn't suffering alone? Because it takes her a moment to get free as well before she just cuts through it with her Keyblade. They both had it coming, but why didn't her Fire spell work...?

"...Sorry about that," the woman mutters, falling back into the snow. Funny, it almost looked like a snow angel below her. "My magic's not as reliable during the day, here."

Sitting up eventually, she smiles faintly. "Still... That was pretty fun.

"I'm Aqua."

"Hey, it's not your fault, don't worry about it!" Yosuke grins at her, though he's shivering pretty bad now. He's gonna need to heat up with some hot cocoa by the end of all of this. "I had lots of fun either way. You're a pretty tough opponent."

Yosuke rubs his arms and shakes some more snow off of himself, approaching her. "I'm Hanamura Yosuke. It's nice to meet you Aqua."

"Yeah... but I could have at least started a fire." She frowns for a moment, but it soon fades in a faint chuckle. Oh, if only he knew how tough she could be if she wanted to be. "You're not so bad, yourself."

Aqua smiles faintly, shaking some of the snow from her hair. Brr... She'd almost forgotten just how cold snow was. "It's nice to meet you too, Hanamura-san."

"Man, its so cold out here. Do you wanna go inside somewhere and get some hot chocolate or something? I should get you something, I kind of started it. You know, to make it up to you."

He holds out a hand for her to shake. "And you don't have to call me Hanamura, you're about my age, right? You can just call me Yosuke."

"Hm. Sounds like a good idea to me." Though, she almost felt like it wasn't too fair, but it would be rude to reject the offer. "Alright, Yosuke."

She shakes his hand, nodding. Besides, this was the first time she felt cold in a while, so maybe it would a good idea--

... How old was she, anymore? And when was the last time she had hot chocolate? She pauses just long enough to think about it before releasing his hand, smiling. "Now I'm trying to think the last time I've had any... Almost makes me feel old."

Well, at least she can joke about it?

"Old, pfft, come on you can't be that old." He grins, and then looks down the street. "There's a cafe right down the street. You aren't in a big hurry or anything, right?" Yosuke's already moving down the street, shivering as he trudges through the snow. He can't wait to reach heated indoors.

"I don't know... Next thing you know I'll have a cane and be shaking it at you." It's pretty obvious that she's kidding as she follows, but really, he kind of left it open for a joke like that. "Not really. I was just on a walk around town, anyway."

Which wasn't a lie, oddly enough. She doesn't shiver as violently, but at the same time can't help the fact her teeth chattered for a second. Her new friend seemed a bit more cold than her, though.

He snickers and gives a shrug. "Hell, if you're getting old, I'll be joining right beside you. We'll be hunched over senior citizens chasing people off of our lawns." Yosuke rubs his arms roughly before he practically shoves his way into the cafe doors, instantly hit with the warm air from inside. Damn, he needed that.

"...Do we even have lawns here?" Short answer: no. Still, she had to say it. She walks in after him, relieved for the warmth as well. Though she had to admit, it was amusing to see his reaction.

Hey, he also had to make the joke besides its nonsensical nature. "We can yell at people to stop being noisy in the apartments above or below us? That's just as good, right?" Though he's not one to talk, he likes playing loud music.

Moving into the cafe, Yosuke heads up to the counter and orders himself a hot chocolate with whipped cream. Looking back at Aqua, he adds, "Order something and I'll pay for it."

"I guess... Though I'm more concerned with a few apartments down." Seriously, it was like a cat died every time she heard him trying to sing. Some guy was trying too hard. ...And yes, she was using the opportunity to tease a neighbor. "Could work, though."

She pauses, looking at the menu before deciding to order the same. Well, it was cheaper than the tea she would have gotten otherwise. She wasn't going to be too expensive. After all, she had a steady paycheck...

"Tch, noisy neighbor??" He tends to actually ignore the noise with headphones, plus he doesn't actually spend a lot of time up in his apartment except when he's sleeping anyway. Too empty and not a lot of fun.

And don't worry about it, Aqua, he's got a relatively steady paycheck too. Yosuke pays for the orders and waits for them to be made, taking hers and handing it over. "Let's find a place to sit."

"You could say that." Karaoke at all times of the day. Fine when you could actually relax and such, but... sob. Eikichi stop trying so hard.

She takes it with a slight not os 'thanks,' looking around. Hm... Oh look, there's an empty table not too far away. "There's an empty table to the left."

"Just grab a cane and shake it at 'em when you get the chance." Yosuke snickers a little and heads over to the table, blowing on his hot chocolate. He tries to take a small sip to warm himself up and ends up sputtering and waving at his now burned tongue.

"Ugh, I always do that! I'd wait a little before drinking yours if I were you."

Yosuke takes a bite of the whipped cream piled on top to try and sooth the burn, getting some on his nose in the process.
