It was a little warmer, and Kaito was feeling less sick, so clearly this was his chance to go outside and get some fresh air. Yes.

This was clearly the best time to window shop in the Cancer district instead of going to, let's say, somewhere more outdoorsy. Like a park. How about it, Kaito? Feel like going to a park?

...No? Just going to press your face against the glass and stare at all the cool shit?

Despite any misgivings he might have had about actually attempting to celebrate a human holiday, Alcor had gone all-out with the apartment.

There was tinsel haphazardly stuck to random things in exact geometric patterns, ornaments hanging off the curtain rod in the absence of a tree, and a stack of presents that all seemed to be the exact size and shape. The one in the shiny-gold wrapping paper had Kaito's name neatly printed on it.

Of course, as had been common lately, he'd gotten tuckered out pretty soon after turning the apartment in to a gaudy mess, and had crashed on the couch.

...it may be a better idea to open the presents now, rather than later.

There was a soft knock on the door. No answer.

The door cracked open and Kaito peered inside, knocking again. Was Saiduq asleep again? Not home? Hmmn. He carefully sneaked inside and-...what.

What the hell happened in here???

It's like a Christmas tree threw up or something...

It's a good thing Alcor doesn't snore, because it would have ruined the light melody of a odd holiday choice echoing from...somewhere. Who knows where the music player is hidden under all this mess.

However, the star didn't really stir from the couch, even with Kaito's knocking. His face was practically buried in to the couch cushion. ...he sort of slept like a cat, actually.

"...Heh." Hard to even get annoyed when he was just laying there like that. It almost was like watching a cat sleep. Maybe Kaito could just clear the way here and...no, okay...make a little walk way.

To Present Town.

God they seriously needed to clean the place, but anyway, presents yes.

Present Town, in all its blingin' glory, stood like a testament to the giving spirit of a star's comprehension of human holidays.

Depressingly, there were a lot more boxes than seemed normal...in fact, there was one for every member of the JP's team. The Kaito Present was the star on the proverbial stack of boxes "tree", supported mostly by the Daichi and Io boxes.

What was inside, however?

The most gaudy sweater known to man, coupled with a spearmint-scented addition to Kaito's wardrobe. The rest of the box was full of individually wrapped chocolate-covered candy canes. Amazingly, they weren't broken, which itself seemed to be a christmas miracle.

So that was the girliest, most excited squeal on this or any other Earth.

Alcor may have slept soundly, but a squeal is not a normal sound for him. The star shot up from the couch in a flash of blue, turning quickly to spot Kaito and rushing over.

"Are you hurt?"

There's a serious edge of concern there.

From the look on his face, he was the opposite of hurt.

"No. Haha, sorry, that was kinda loud, huh?"

He also found his preseeeeeeeeeeeeeent.
